• CS6 Master Collection Installer constant in case of failure

  I bought CS6 Master Collection and, to save download time, the dealer (iSoftware) burned on the disc for me. All four cases are now in one folder on my desktop. I tried "setup.exe" several times (in part 1) and the installer always fails at the same point.

  Yesterday, I replaced Vista Business 64-bit with Win7 64 bit - same problem each time. PDApp journal reports:

  OS: Win 7 64 bit

  I'm running out of ideas and places to search. Where should I go from here?  Any help gratefully received.

• CS6 Master Collection installation

  I had a beta version of Photoshop CS6 on my Mac and now I am installing CS6 Master Collection and it wil not let me install Photoshop, it says there is a conflict with a previous or preliminary version and it should be removed before installing the new version.  I uninstalled it but I can not install Photoshop, same error message.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.   I tried to download my Collection of CS6 Master for Windows (running Windows 7) discs, but it won't work.

  I put in the first disk and it worked fine at first (including my shipment serial number and have accepted) but then a few minutes after the installation, a message appears saying 'Please insert disk CS6 MstrColl 1 to continue' with only cancel or continue as options. I was troubled because the disc I got in was marked Application 1. I replaced and clicked on continue, but it was not acknowledged and the message reappeared. I tried each of the other two discs in the package I received; none worked.

  When I looked in the Adobe forums someone else with a similar problem had been a recommendation to copy the contents of the disc on their hard drive and install from there. I did it for disk 1 and it ran fine - until the same message appears, this time asking for disk 2 MstrColl! As before, I tried to reinsert the disk, and then when it does not work I copied the contents of my hard drive. The problem is setup running of the drive does not recognize the presence of the contents of disk 2 (either as a disc or saved on my hard drive) and there is no way to interfere with it without canceling the entire process...

  Anyone have any ideas? I tried silly things like turn off my firewall, but no difference was made! Any help appreciated gratefully.

• CS6 Master Collection Installer hangs at 2%

  The Master collection gets 2 percent, while the estimated remaining in installation time rises continuously by the second. Watched an episode of Seinfeld, and then looked, and the installation was still at 2%, with more than 1900 estimated minutes remaining and climbing. You have to force it leave, and then impossible to reinstall until I restart, as "other installation process are running."

  What should I do?

  Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions can help... said yet, but sometimes it is necessary for all Adobe programs (this is same as using an administrator account)

• CS5.5 Master Collection "Installer failed to initialize".

  DW CS5.5 manifested suddenly repository problems. All of the property of all the sites disappeared from the site DW Manager.

  Advice on the forums has been to remove and reinstall DW.

  I deleted DW and attempted a re - install files MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.exe and .7z.

  By clicking on "setup.exe", the Setup program returns "Installer could not initialize" closes.

  So, not Dreamweaver.

  Any ideas please?

  Thank you, Jon. Your suggestion has worked, but in a roundabout way because of my idiocy. The problem turned out be the error of the operator, not a 'mysterious disappearance' of goods that I have for the first time. Took me about 6 hours of teeth gnashing to realize that there are four ways of looking at assets to DW CS5.5 - view Local, remote server, testing server and notice of filing.

  I do all the work DW in Local mode and have never thought this little drop a lot (all). But on that fateful day, the display has been changed inadvertently to the repository which 'disappeared' assets for each site. They were not missing, of course, they were not simply to repository. DOH!

  I had deleted the Collection of Master DW at the get-go, so the application still had to be replaced after that I finally understood what was going on. Your suggestion was the answer.

  PS - it took, in my case, to rename the Adobe folder in the common files before installation of DW would work. (Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe). I've renamed the Adobe Adobe1 file. Successful DW installed, create another folder of Adobe. I then copied the contents of the new folder of Adobe1, deleted the new folder of Adobe and renamed Adobe1 Adobe. All the apps Master collection now fortunately found and works very well.

  I had installed no problem CS6 MC on my PC, but yesterday, I bought a new SSD and decided to uninstall it from my HARD drive in order to reinstall it on the SSD. But now I can't install it more like 2% installation stops every time with this error:

  According to the guidelines of your screenshot, you have all the files and folders that should be removed by the cleanup tool, strange these has not been deleted.

  You know, you don't have any previous version of Adobe installed and that you have run the cleanup tool and "clean all" is the selected option.

  If so, then go ahead and move this folder on the desktop and install CS6

• Cannot install CS6 Master Collection on windows 7-64 bit

  As the title suggests, I repeatedly tried to install Master Collection - CS6 on my machine of 7-64 bit windows at home and after a few minutes, he simply erros out. I even downloaded the trials for several of the applications and they do not install too. My download has come directly from the Adobe licensing website.

  The fixed!

  Cleaned computer and register all products such as cs4 adobe, reader etc cleaned the register etc. then installed the trial CD and it worked. The key musta been seen always installed cs4.
