  I just got a new computer because my last one died and I can not install my CS4.  I know it's old, but I've spent more than $1000 on it and it worked very well for me.  When I try to install it gives me an error message saying that the Installer database is corrupt.  Try to install on a system Windows 8.   Thank you, Jeff.  I found on another thread to uninstall other Adobe products and then install them after you have installed the CS product.  I uninstalled elements and CS4 installs fine now.  It's kind of a pain, but at least I can use it again.  I hope that I can re - install items with no problem, I like to use the photo database in the program elements.  Thanks again.

  Adobe no longer supports version 5.5 since it is the end of life... and it will not be updated for compatibility Win10

  An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others

  You can activate the software on up to two computers: Mac or Windows, but not both (Cloud is different).

  Condition you use both Mac or Windows, then you will be fine.

  On your computer, install and activate with the same serial number that you used on the first computer.

• Problem reinstalling CS6 Master Collection

  I can't reinstall my Collection CS6 Master with my old serial number... I've had this issue for a while now, but I had to change hard drives because the original hard drive (which I got my version of CS ^ Master collection installed on...) shorted out and I had to replace and reinstall all the programs I had on the new drive.  Now, I can not activate my CS6 Master Collection on my new drive with serial number, I got... can you please help me and tell me how I can fix this problem... Thank you :-)

  I had to reinstall a new operating system on a new drive from XP pro, all the way back to the top for Windows 7 Ultimate 32 - bit of my other installation diskettes that I got for my operating system.  Believe me it was a royal pain reinstall everything again and I had lost so much data... believe me it has taught me to start backing up my files!

  Have used my disks to DVD - SVAD 654 K-1 and SVAD 654 - 2, as well as 24 digits keys series number/access code

  I'm normaliter using the application on 2 systems, that I have 20 iMac and MacBook Pro (this is within the limits of the authorization)

  Maybe the application was not properly deleted before deleting it when my MacBook went in for repair under warranty.

  I thought I could reinstall as it is always the same IP address and the same serial number in MacBook

  PROBLEM

  Start of my DVD with CS6 Master Collection (for Mac OS X 10.6.8) NL, asks my 20-digit number. Have that are available, but it says "invalid", after a new attempt, the Council is to contact the Service Support from Adobe.

• CS6 Master Collection Installer constant in case of failure

  I bought CS6 Master Collection and, to save download time, the dealer (iSoftware) burned on the disc for me. All four cases are now in one folder on my desktop. I tried "setup.exe" several times (in part 1) and the installer always fails at the same point.

  Yesterday, I replaced Vista Business 64-bit with Win7 64 bit - same problem each time. PDApp journal reports:

  OS: Win 7 64 bit

  I'm running out of ideas and places to search. Where should I go from here?  Any help gratefully received.

  Tried to install CS4 Master Collection on a new PC (windows 8) using the CD I received an error that the Dababase Installer is corrupt. Found information to remove products Adobe and the CAB files. Delete files on the computer and Adobe programs. Still no luck. Any other ideas?

  I am trying to create a new custom image to deploy on all our computers in our school. We create our image using a virtual machine, hyper v and then use MDT to capture and WDS to deploy. The first step in our process is to ensure that all windows updates are installed before you begin installing third-party programs. When I try to install our CS6 Master Collection package (created using AAMME) a window appears with the title "Please wait while windows configures"package name"" and "Collecting information" content and a loading bar. The loading bar will go through once and then come to halfway, and then reverses. I checked in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files" for the Setup logs, but there are not.

  A little more information. When I try to install our package before the updates it does not work. This is until the updates are installed, it will seem to start installation then "reverse."

  The way we have circumvented this problem was to launch a prompt as an administrator and then run the AAMME package in the folder of generation.
