CSCux29978 on systems not configured for IKE

For firewalls who Ikev1 or v2 enabled/configured, the code could still be executed and not force the restart or allow remote code execution?

Hi awysocki,

The documentation states that you need either a tunnel from Site to Site running Ikev1 or ikev2 or a remote connection with the ipsec technology. If you have any of these technologies that the feat can be run.

You can verify if IPSec is enabled with the command:

ciscoasa# show running-config crypto map | include interface
    crypto map outside_map interface outside

  • Try to connect to the network, get a msg "the server is not configured for transactions.

I have a desktop running Vista Professional (SP2) and a laptop running XP Professional (SP3). They are connected by a WiFi network, the Desktp acting as a server. Everything worked well until the Office had a problem and had to have re-installed Windows. Now, although the Office can find the laptop, the laptop can not find the office or its working group. I get a message " is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the server administrator to find out if you have access permissions. The server is not configured for transactions. »

    • But once, for about five minutes, it worked - and then stopped again. For no apparent reason.
    • If I connect with an Ethernet cable and no WiFi machines, the last sentence of this message changes to "the list of servers of this working group is currently unavailable."
    • When you run the Configuration Wizard from the network on the laptop, he told me that I have to run the Wizard "on each of the computers on your network. To run the wizard on computers running XP, you can use the Windows XP CD or a network setup disk". I was not able to do so - the XP disc I have does not behave as indicated by the wizard and the wizard does not recognize my CD - RW drive to create a network setup disk.

    Can anyone help?

Well, who has not responded to my problem, but it was eventually fixed by a support guy with the company who sold me the desktop PC. As I understand it, it was a problem of file sharing. Seems he had to undo sharing all my records on the desktop, then re - share once again, since when I did not have this particular problem. But it's obviously not ideal (in MS eyes at least) to the network of computers with different operating systems.

  • syslog not configured for persistent storage

I'm under ESXi 4.0.0 261974 on one server HP Blade BL35p. installed fine and everything works OK apart if I try to access the console of the host. I get the following message "* SySlog is not configured for persistent storage"

I looked at the Syslog settings under software/advanced settings and all is the default value for the local and remote. The only thing listed is port 514, which I believe is default. I have 3 virtual machines running on the local disk and 2 computer virtual running on an iSCSI target. Anyone know how I can get in the console of the host?

  • Router not configured for port forwarding

I use a modem wireless to my ISP, they block all ports less than 1024 and I need to forward ports 80 & 440

    How can I solve this?

If you configure your router for a LenovoEMC Personal Cloud and always see the message, "Not configured router for port forwarding" under personal cloud Configuration, one or more of the following ports are probably blocked by your internet provider (ISP): 80, 443or port selected in the range 50500-50599 .

Port 80 is used for internet access (HTML UN-secure) in general. If this port is blocked, but the ports 443 and 50500 are open, the Personal Cloud will work correctly even if the error message appears.

Port 443 is used for remote access on the host network storage device. If this port is blocked, but the port selected in the range 50500 is open, you will be able to use the Personal Cloud LenovoEMC and invite others to use it, but you will not be able to access your network storage device via the Internet URL. (See answer ID 30773 for more information on access remotely through Personal Cloud LenovoEMC.)

A port in the range of 50500-50599 must be routed through the router to use the function LenovoEMC Personal Cloud. If this port is blocked by your ISP, you will not be able to access the Personal Cloud to your network storage device or invite others to join the Personal Cloud. (For more information, see answer ID 29070 .)

  • operating system not found for the guest computer.

    Hi all

I hope that all do you well...

. I installed VM workstaiton on my laptop (Vista home edition, HOST).

during the installation of the OS the display error invited

PXE - E51: no boot file received

PXE - M0F: Exit Intel PXE ROM

    Operating system not found

I tried both way of installing from ISO image and physical Cd /dvd. But same error.

I have a bud, the boot sequence, but not luck

    Help, please

    Kind regards... MB

I belive that your boot order is not preparing to your boot from the CD/DVD option.

In the setting VM Edit tab there is an option to go to the bios directly before trying to start. box to check that option and power on the virtual machine, it will go to the bios now set your first boot on CD/DVD device and apply to restart this will make the option set. Now your virtual machine starts automatically from CD/DVD.

Because this will not your VM to power & power on it will continue after your start option setting is applied.

You can try it once this option helped me...

  • Bought a used iPhone 4S about six months ago. Not configured for all files huuuuge icloud. Only mail (which I cut on a regular basis), but no pictures. Why do I get the message that my storage is full? Why do I pay Apple for storage?

I bought a used iPhone 4S about six months ago. Got an AT & T plan with data. Not upgrade to iOS 9.3 I read that it wasn't a good idea for older phones. Implement iCloud for ONLY mail and SMS. No pictures. I have cut my weekly mail.

Now, I get a notice that iCloud is already full, and I have to pay for more storage. Why? There is nothing on the phone! I also have an iPad3 and a banal ASUS PC, which is where I store my photos and my photos. How would you complete the storage? Why do I pay Apple more money? They do not have enough?

Go to settings/general/storage and use iCloud. Click on storage management in the ICLOUD section. It will tell you exactly how your iCloud-storage space is affected.

  • F9M14UA #ABA: TS Envy 17 - actual resolution subscribed not configured for external TV monitor

    Answered my own question.

With TV 4K as extended display by dragging the windows back, I could see more clearly what was going on.  I was on the right track, just not familiar with the scale display ("size of the text, applications and other elements,") apparently presented with Windows 8.1.  The problem is that Windows uses a scale factor (150% in the case of the TV 1080 p, 300% with the 4 K TV), different from what has been configured in settings: 100%.

Change it to 200%, logout and back, then put at 100% (and reconsignation once again,) solved the problem.

  • SP A10 - Error 633: the modem is not installed or configured for Dial-Up

I've already reformatted the hard drive and the utility CD to reinstall the modem driver. Anyone got tips on how to solve the problem? An external modem would solve it?
    Either way, it's a satellite pro A10

    Hello

If the HARD drive is formatted, use the recovery CD and reinstall the OS. After that, the modem must be recognized and properly installed. After that, configure Dial connection and check the modem. If the modem is not defective, it should work.

The strange thing is that there is Error 633 which means: the port is already in use or is not configured for remote access remote calls.
Please check this interesting site http://www.modemsite.com/56k/duns633.asp.
