CSS rules for FireFox via Stylish themes?

Hello, I am wanting to create a FireFox theme via elegant. It has been over two years since I've done this and have almost forgotten all the rules / tags / names of the uses of FireFox in CSS for Stylish. How can I check the FireFox UI elements elements to get their names so that I can make a theme? I was hoping now, there would be a sort of somesort wiki to have all the CSS of the FireFox UI elements names or examples make a FireFox with Stylish theme. Thank you.

The DOM Inspector (DOMi) has a menu item (Edit > select an element by click) and a toolbar button ' find a node to inspect by clicking "(left icon in the toolbar in the DOMi).

  • Open the browser window in the DOMi (file > inspect Chrome Document), select the first entry in the drop-down list.
  • Click on the button "find a node to inspect by clicking ' and use the keyboard (Alt-Tab) or the taskbar to return to the browser window (do not click in the window of the browser other than the title bar).
  • Click on this item with the mouse and hold down the key until you see a red border to indicate that the DOMi has found this element in the DOM tree.

  • Failed to set the new CSS rule for the background image

    Hello

    Maybe I've finally lost my mind... I myself find it impossible to add a background image to the header of my project portion.  I select the "header" in the property Panel section, click on "add a new CSS rule.  Curiously, DW does not in the name of the selector for me, which is probably an indication that something is wrong, but I don't know what.  I went through the steps of filling in the name of the switch by hand, choose the .jpg file and setting is like a background image, but he never takes.

    There has got to be something simple that experienced users of DW can explain.  Go ahead, experts, you out there?

    Thank you...

    When things go south, it is almost always caused by a mistake of small coding somewhere.

    Unbalanced tags are the usual suspects.

Or is the top one you need to edit the CSS in the Panel, you must edit so just one out of them?

  • Advanced CSS rules

    Dear Nancy O,.

    I also recreate a model using div and CSS tags instead of tables.

    In a recent post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1162147?tstart=0 advise you to use

    ""min-height: 100px"" "

    in a div tag And, in a DW template I'm customization for my own use, it gives the following CSS rule for fonts:

    "font: 100% / 1.4 Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, without serif" where the "1.4" determines the spacing between the lines.

    These are not variables in the DW CSS command dialog box (at least I couldn't find them).

    My question is where to find all these special orders of CCS preferably in one place so that I can use them to refine and tweaking my CSS?

    Branko VL

    By chance I just found on DW the feature that displays all the options of these

    If you click on "Add property" you get a long list of items to add and simply scroll down you until you find the one you want.

    Of course, I will study the various CSS properties most at w3schools.com to better understand.

  • Firefox does not take into account CSS rules that I put

    So, if you look at my site:

    http://leaveyourdailyhell.com

    In, say, Chrome and Firefox, you will see very different things. In Chrome, it seems I had intended; namely, the messages loop custom WordPress on the first page and the top of each "message" has correctly sized thumbnails, floated to the left. In other words, it obeys the CSS rules that I set. (And copy CSS I have, for the record, W3C validated - it came back perfect.)

    In Firefox, however, both of these div tags ignore CSS rules, I put. No floats; the images are their original sizes and, on the same page, where the band positions is supposed to have a custom background, it is not found. It is not even obey simple rules, such as the assignment of a custom color for the links. When I right click to inspect the elements, the CSS rules are not found!

    (And copy CSS I have, for the record, W3C validated - it came back perfect.)

    The validator displays 30 markup errors, 50 CSS3 CSS3 231 warnings and errors. The experimental unified validator returns 1763 CSS3 warnings.

    Hello

    Maybe this help you:

  • Firefox will not allow the module because "do not update for Firefox 29,0" even on update modules.

    I recently newly installed firefox 29.0.1 on my Android phone. Several modules that work very well on my laptop with Firefox 29,0 claim to be 'not updated for Firefox 29,0"

    for 'Reporter compatibility add-on' and the 'Greasemonkey' add-on, the site was actually a message in red under a gray button 'add to Firefox' who says 'not updated for Firefox 29.0 ".

    For the add-on "Leechblock", the site allows me to download, but after downloading a message saying "Leechblock could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 29.0.1.

    All these modules work fine on my computer, and the support for them sites claim that they have been updated, so I'm at a loss as to why they do not work.

    On the view of the Office of addons.mozilla.org , there a version information section that can be extended if you click on it. For example https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/stylish/

    > Works with Firefox for Android 14.0 - 32.0, Firefox 4.0 and later, SeaMonkey 2.1 and later, Thunderbird 5.0 and later

    If the extension does not Firefox for Android in its version information section, it is not compatible.

  • What is the CSS selector for the popup bubble when flat on a URL?

    I don't speak of popup is described here:
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/what-happened-status-bar?ESAB=a & As = AAQ

    I have a dark theme for Firefox, but it remains white. I would use custom CSS to turn it is black with white text (Chrome which comes, I migrated to ala), but I can't find the correct selector for it.

    Thanks in advance!

    I use this code:

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    statuspanel {max-width:90%!important}
    .statuspanel-label {background:#FF9!important;color:black!important;font-family:"DejaVu Sans Mono"}

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

  • A site called abuchak took my search for firefox Macintosh, how do I get rid of it and keep my favorites?

    Whenever I type a keyword in the search box on Firefox immediately opens a new tab for a search engine called abuchack and next to the search box, it says it's a google program.

    You can open the topic: config page through the address bar and do a search for abuchak via the filter at the top of the about: config page.

    You can reset all abuchak related prefs via the context menu to their default values.

    To open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the 'Enter' key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.

    If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access this page.

    • Use the filter at the top bar of the on: page config to more easily spot a preference.
    • Preferences that have changed see the bold (user set).
    • Preferences you can restore the default value or change via the context menu.

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Can I use file of udev rules for RAC on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 11.2.0.3?

    Version of the grid: 11.2.0.3
    Platfomrm: The last Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 (Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel)

    Yes guys Oracle sales have convinced our Manager to go OEL of AIX.
    We plan to install RAC on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6 (UEK) 11.2.0.3.

    I read this thread on the asmlib and udev rules file.
    List of rules for CAR 10.2 udev

    As a benefit to ASMLib, periera Levi said (quotes)
    '+ A good async IO interface to the database, all the I/o interface is based on a model of performance + ASYNC'

    Oracle is not out for 6 OEL or RHEL 6 AsmLib. I think that they will not release asmlib more.

    So, we will use only the udev rules file. Without ASMLib, we will have an ASYNCHRONOUS i/o or other storage related issues?

    Someone at - it successfully installed 11.2.0.3 RAC OEL 6 with udev rules file?

    I use +/etc/udev/rules.d/40-multipath.rules+ udev file to configure the permissions of device of multiple devices on path to e/s for use by o/s user grid.

    It is as follows:

    # modded for setting mpath device permissions

    SUBSYSTEM!="block", GOTO="end_mpath"

    KERNEL!="dm-[0-9]*", GOTO="end_mpath"

    PROGRAM!="/sbin/mpath_wait %M %m", GOTO="end_mpath"

    ACTION=="add", RUN+="/sbin/dmsetup ls --target multipath --exec '/sbin/kpartx -a -p p' -j %M -m %m"

    # goto labels added
    PROGRAM=="/sbin/dmsetup ls --target multipath --exec /bin/basename -j %M -m %m", RESULT=="?*", NAME="%k", SYMLINK="mpath/%c", GOTO="check_cluster_devs"
    PROGRAM!="/bin/bash -c '/sbin/dmsetup info -c --noheadings -j %M -m %m | /bin/grep -q .*:.*:.*:.*:.*:.*:.*:part[0-9]*-mpath-'", GOTO="check_cluster_devs"
    PROGRAM=="/sbin/dmsetup ls --target linear --exec /bin/basename -j %M -m %m", NAME="%k", RESULT=="?*", SYMLINK="mpath/%c", GOTO="check_cluster_devs"

    GOTO="end_mpath"

    # set device permissions for Grid Infrastructure
    LABEL="check_cluster_devs"
    RESULT=="*", GROUP="oinstall", MODE="660"
    RESULT=="*", OWNER="grid", GROUP="oinstall", MODE="660"
    OPTIONS="last_rule"

    LABEL="end_mpath"

    # eof

    I understand that it is no longer necessary that can be configured in +/etc/multipath.conf+ as follows:

    ..
    multipaths {
        multipath {
            wwid  SSCST_BIOscst1_sdb_757d30d0
            alias scst1_sdb
            mode 0660
            uid oinstall
            gid grid
          }
    .. etc.
    }

    However, has never work properly myself--must do something wrong that I saw a few sources Internet showing it works.

    As far as I KNOW, it is also with OL6 (as it is with OL5 and earlier versions), not a question of AsmLib or udev/MPIO. Udev is a Mapper devices used by the kernel. The decision is whether to add another layer called AsmLib. Personally, I have yet to see any convincing evidence that why should I increase the complexity of the kernel driver stack, adding AsmLib. We also had a few serious incompatibility with AsmLib issues in the past (where he with, caused compatible I/O corruption at the logical level).

    If you look at the clusters in the www.top500.org list, many of them have shared storage accessible via udev/multichemin Pentabytes and nothing else. MPIO has its roots as a driver of kernel for these groups. One of the reasons why we stopped years ago to use EMC Powerpath for our CARS that are wired to EMC San to shared storage.
