  Can I have a pre process handler to update the values in the search field on my userpage to create? I have two user attributes: one is the default organization and the other is a country created by the user attribute. These two are lookup fields. I want to update the field of research by checking what is selected in the search field organization. Is this possible in IOM?

  OK, here's my shot at a walkthrough... Let me know if I missed any steps.

  1. from your original post, you use two search boxes. I'm using a basic VM test, so I need to create two. I went with the city and State (I know they are OOB, but this is just an example).
  -Created Lookup.Custom.City and Lookup.Custom.State samples:
  Lookup.Custom.City
  Code key-Decode
  Miami-Florida
  Orlando-Florida
  New Orleans and Louisiana

  Lookup.Custom.State
  Code key-Decode
  Florida-Florida
  Lousiana-Louisiana

  -Creation of custom attributes UDF: Advanced-> user-> Actions Configuration-> the attributes of the user (LOV)
  -City Office and the State Office

  2 use weblogicExportMetadata.sh to export /metadata/iam-features-requestactions/model-data/CreateUserDataSet.xml

  3. change the CreateUserDataSet.xml to add:

  1. you have disabled the Suggestions show inside the Google search bar.

The field of research and the field of the list are discussion, so when the user clicks on a character the app will search through the contacts. I was tripping on the conditions originally but had so I found it easier to remove them all, however I realized that the only rule of information is also applied to the fields in the advanced search screen, what is the dpEvent for research please, so I can out - screen or even create a rule so that users can search only on relevant metadata elements.

  I have a panel of query (see criteria) that allows users to search for records in which the attribute 'StartDate' of the View EmployeeVO object is between two variables bind "startViewCritVar" and "endViewCritVar".

  I would like to have access to these variables when the user enters the search values.

  If the user does not enter the "startViewCritVar" or "endViewCritVar", I would like to set a value for these variables in the back-end.

  If you know how to do this, I greatly appreciate it if you could show me some code, or link me to a team that has code examples. I work only with the ADF for a few months and do not always understand when something is completely textual.

  The problem is solved! I went to class Impl of the View object. Now I overrided the executeQuery method. I used the getstartViewCritVar() and the getendViewCritVar to see if the values are null. If it were, I used their respective set methods to initialize the values for these variables bind.

  I have create a ViewObject and define a criterion for display in the view object.  In the view criteria, I add a few attributes.  These attributes are displayed in the search of a form Panel.  For one of these fields of research, I don't want to be used directly in the query.  I need to get the value you enter in this field and use the value in the query in a different way (I replace executeQuery() and use programmatically use the value of the entry).  Is it possible to exclude from this field of research to use in the query directly?

  The user, what version jdev you use?

  It is a delicate approach. You should change the view point criteria clause (and map the original where clause as is). The framework calls the application at different points in time and once you change the query in the executeQuery you have no control what happens after that.
