  is it possible to rewrite the data in the original OLAP cube using the of SmartView for MS Excel add-in?

  • change the columns (properties)

  Can I click on a save/submit button after that and my changes will be written back in the cube?

  hierarchical update is what I assume you want to say by updating the properties or add new columns.  If the new columns are combinations of Member you want to add then which would add to the sketch.  As Dan says, it is not possible in Essbase.  There is a way to do planning, but that is something you should read the Administrator's Guide.

  Now, we plan to create materialized with rewrite motion activated to speed up performance?

  Adding a MV rewrite does not alter the raw performance of a cube. The only reason to add - it is if you want to write your SQL queries against relational base tables and the database have rewrite your queries on the cube. If you are able to query the views of cube directly, so there is no particular advantage to a rewrite MV.

  Adding a refresh only MV has benefits even if your queries using views of cube. A refresh only MV following the lapse of the cube and allows you to run updates of 'fast', which can be useful if you are only changing a handful of lines in your fact table.

  I just created a dimension, i.e. dim_1 with three levels (l1, l2 and l3) with the ' ROLAP: with Cube MV ' storage option. the business identifier is of type number named 'key '. The standard hierarchy of the dimension is
  by default except that I have defined L1 level as him "jump at the level" of the L3 level. As I'd hoped associates the modified dimension table so that the key added to level L3 as his parents another level L1.

  Command is not supported in cube MVs, see the documentation for OLAP;

  A cube must conform to these requirements, before it can be referred to as a cube materialized view:
  * All the dimensions of the cube have at least a level and a level-based hierarchy. Ragged and non-hierarchical hierarchies are not supported. The dimensions should be mapped.
  * All dimensions in the cube using the same aggregation operator, which is SUM, MIN, or MAX.
  * The cube has one or more dimensions and one or more measures.
  * The cube is fully defined and mapped. For example, if the cube has five steps, then all five are mapped to the source tables.
  * The data for the cube type is NUMBER, VARCHAR2, NVARCHAR2, or DATE.
  * Source detail tables support dimension and count constraints. If they have not been defined, then use the Advisor to relational schema to generate a script that defines on detail charts.
  * The cube is compressed.
  * The cube can be accompanied by calculated measures, but he can not support analytics more advanced in the cube script.

  Some of your join conditions are incorrect. Each join condition must join the fact table, W_SYND_RX_T_F, with the dimension of the appropriate journal table. I do not have your definition of AW set, but LIST_OF_VALUES seems to have a valid condition.

  Hi all

  I moved accidentally all my songs out their records organized iTunes.

  The songs are all still in the music folder, but are now loose in there, and all of their files are empty.

  I find that all my songs are still playing very well, but just do not know if maybe I should get iTunes somehow to put them all back (?)

  Since then, I rebooted my Mac and reinstalled an .itl for her, so not looking is not a cancellation, but rather an organizing method that would not risk ruining his perfect current functionality.

  I think probably the best thing to do would have to drag the iTunes folder automatically added to.

• iTunes songs on the iPhone only organized by artist

  My iPhone just 6Plus upgraded to the 10.0.1 iOS.  Now, my iTunes library shows only the songs organized by artist.  There is no way for me to change that.  I tried to connect my phone to my mac and change the 'View' to sort by the name of the song, but it still doesn't work.  No matter if I look at the songs or playlists, everything is sorted by artist name.  How can I change this?

  Settings > music > songs of sorting & Albums > choose "by title".

• Missing Apple 'organized' generic music Stations. iTunes 12.4.3.1

  Noticed today that the Apple music "curated" generic Radio Stations are missing on my Mac (latest iTunes OS and last.)

  I can see recently 'played' and 'Centres of Star' and have access to the people, but the generic stations kind (which is used to appear below 'Stations of Star') disappeared.

  Any idea what I could have done, or how can I get them back?

  EsteveL: curious, did you start with the 3 month subscription, complete it, discuss the high cost of the Apple music (like me) and return back to subscribe, and now you can't see organized radio stations.  This is my situation.  I signed up iTunes, quit iTunes, restarted, launched iTunes, connected and yet, the Radio tab... only on Mac because I see the lists on the iPhone and iPad... I only have 1 beats (whatever), played and Stations featured.  I want the organized list to choose from, like you.  I wonder if my path creates a bug in iTunes for Mac 12.4.3.1

• How to identify where my photos imported, organized into events, appear in the library events?

  When I import pictures from my iPhone, I label the individual events while they are still in the import window. When I change the window of events, new events appear at the very top/beginning of the library. In order to get these new events in order chronologically, which means that they should be at the bottom of the window, I have to drag the new events down through several years and thousands of photos. I can't find anything in the preferences that I can change to specify that I would like to added to the base, not from the top. Or, said differently, is there a mechanism to ensure that the library is organized in chronological order? Any suggestions? Thank you!

  Click on events in the source to the left - pane in the view menu == > sort events, and then select the type you want - this is for iPhoto 9.6.1 - you don't specify what version you have, but I think it's the same for all versions of iPhoto 11

• What happened to the version patches-new organ is acting weird bug

  IMAC 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB. Recently updated to OS 10.11.6 and Logic Pro X version 10.2.4. Have had all kinds of strange things going on acting buggy. Is to assign a piece for organ, but impossible to find patches of organ in what were before upgrade. I downloaded all the sounds of the relevant library. What is going on. We will have to wait for another upgrade? should I go to backup and reinstall the older versions?

  IN the Inspector - watch the channel bandwidth and make sure that the blue triangle is up next to the insert for the instrument. If it's not - click to the left of the insertion to move there. This sets the context of what the library shows.

• Keep my organized the iTunes media folder

  I was running iTunes on my iMac with the music library on a NAS.  I have a MacBook Pro which also access the library. No problem.  Then my iMac died and I made the mistake of checking "keep my iTunes media folder organized on the MacBook.  Big mistake.  iTunes proceeded to totally presented the folder.  Now, the music play iTunes (file not found).  Albums are incomplete.  When I look at the files and folders on NAS, it is total disarray, with files and folders in all directions.  An album file which had 11 titles in her previouldy now has only 2 and I have no idea where are the other 9.  Another album has a folder that it contains that bears the name of a different album with all the tracks for this album in it.  Can someone help me to solve this mess?  Most of my music is ripped from CDs I own and some is on the cloud (I bought the Apple music).  Thank you in advance.

  It seems to be a classic case of iTunes for some reason, do not like to work with NAS. Sometimes, it works. Sometimes locations of files and/or names may be wasted.  We don't know why, but it is likely how the NAS interface software works and editing a Unix Mac address format used for anything that uses the SIN.  The long-term solution is to use the NAS for backup and use a standard hard drive to the library (Yes, I know, you don't want to hear it).  The short term solution is to restore your library from your backup.

• I have an old data file of firefox from a transfer of the computer I did and I want to get all the sites that I had organized how can I do this?

• CD importing and organizing files

  Let me try this again...

  I've been going back through all my CD and re - import with better quality. I really hate the iTunes decided to organize my files. I don't I have a complaint about the iTunes Media > subfolders. I have a problem with iTunes is decide how organize the CD data itself.

  For example:

  I import the CD 'Something to remember' Madonna. ITunes has decided that some of the sounds "Feature" another artist that this is a CD of Various Artists and decides to locate files in iTunes Media > music > compilation > something to remember.

  This then forces me to go find the Album in iTunes and select "Get Info" and him saying that the "Album Artist" is Madonna. ITunes then decides with this selection that the best way to organize the data must move all except tracks 1, 2, 8 and 14 in iTunes Media > music > Madonna > something to remember.

  Now I have 2 sites with data from a CD (iTunes Media > music > compilation > something to be aware (for titles 1, 2, 8, 14) and iTunes Media > music > Madonna > something to remember (for the rest).)

  It is quite frustrating if you like to keep things organized!

  It wouldn't be that large agree if we could just manually move files and iTunes recognize where they are.

  I understand that I can change the XML file and change places, but it's a lot of work. It would be nice if Apple would just make things simpler for us in us giving the possibility to organize the files by hand, and give us a way to make the iTunes to update the library of files (or give us a way to specify things like artist or some way to force the system to keep a whole album rather divide.)

  Obviously I would prefer simply to allow to place the files where we want to and just tell iTunes to update itself with the locations.

  iTunes is set up so that the user would not normally focus on the press kit at all.  Unless you have a reason to need to work with the media folder and then don't know how it's implemented. It is optimized for the use of iTunes.

  You can organize the media by hand. Go to iTunes > Preferences > advanced and remove the check mark next to 'organize' and ' copy to '.  Add in the future all media to iTunes will use the original file everywhere where it is and, within limits, will follow a file if you drag it somewhere else (never to another drive).  Note This can have other disadvantages such as iTunes, refusing in the future automatically fix broken links.  Also if you download the iCloud elements or on the iTunes Store they still always automatically placed in the standard folder structure but you can remove them.  You will have to ensure that the music is organized and the files have names that make sense for you.  If accidentally, you drag a file into a directory of obscure and name 45hg%4p.mp3 iTunes uses there.  Moving from the library to another drive can also be more complicated in the future, especially if you end up with files outside the iTunes folder.

  Editing the .xml has absolutely no effect on iTunes.  iTunes creates for other applications. iTunes uses the .itl file and only he can read.

  I would recommend if you go to start to manage the media yourself, you need to learn how iTunes works really.  You are at the point where if you don't know the .xml and .itl but you start managing your media you are entering the scene of the advanced user.
