  Hi all

  I have a card NI USB DAQ to 6009. I need a battery for constant (charge/discharge current<1mA) and="" simultaneously="" monitor="" its="">

  I was wondering if I can use USB-6009 of output constant source/sink of charge/discharge current the battery? I've seen a few threads that says 6009 impossible to output constant son of currents, but other says we can use the digital output to provide the current, but it was not only described how.

  All the outputs of the USB-6009 case are sources of tension and all have current limits low. There is no way to generate outputs current controlled directly from this device.

  What I would do (and have done) is to build circuits of external current source/sink with an op amp or a transistor and allows you to enable or disable a digital output of the USB-6009. If the current must be adjustable, use an op amp circuit that takes an input of the analog output of the USB-6009 voltage to set the current.  Use an analog input channel to monitor the battery voltage.

  How can we extract the list of the current source session and Desktop Manager console or view VDI server. I did it via the administration console VDI himself (just copied VDI console URL and passed to the Excel file), but it poses problem in the conf file and generates the error and change the refresh value o-1 (for this reason our VDI console was not showing the list of users in the means of the pool when we clicked on any pool he went into the suspended state) I fought for this problem since a week and after a lot of research on the VMware site, I found the error and the solution but I solved the problem, but now I again reqiured a list of computers disconnected and connected and ready.

  The thing is that I need to know

  How many users is connected or disconnected?

  How many office are ready assined to a bot user does not use them?

  I have the plan hurt get the list and stops the virtual machines that are in ready state, then it will improve the performance of the VDI cluster.

  Is there any problem so ill stop the virtual machines that are in the ready state.

  Use the Provisionigs parameter to stop the unused VMs in order of time / disconnect or logoff.

• Using the CRio NI9265 module as current source

  My apologies for what is pretty basic - I come to this Chem Eng background rather than electric. I have a CRio-9012 controller with a 9265 module 0-20 my (among others). The power supply to the CRio is 24VDC. I want to use one of the outputs as input to a power controller Watlow DIN-a-mite, which will lead in turn 10 a / 2.5KW heating.

  The datasheet for the power controller indicates that the input command is powered by current loop linear, 4-20 my DC, requiring an available with 6.5 VDC power source. Am I right in saying that I should compare 6.5 VDC voltage compliance for this module (12 DC max), so this arrangement work?

  That's right, that the installation will work.

  The 9265 will display up to 12 VDC, and your device requires a maximum of 6,5 VDC.

• sbRIO-9632 5V Pin current (source)

  I'm working on a robotics project and I just got the Robotics Starter Kit (DaNI).  It seems that there is two encoders pins 5V on the sbRIO-powered (but I can find no plug on encoders and present how they shoot).

  I need to know if I can use the pins 5V to power the encoders that we use.  There will be, at a minimum, 3 of them on the robot at any time of the command of feedback on our custom engines.  Each of them says he'll shoot 27mA which is 9 times the amount of current that can access a normal DIO PIN.  I'm assuming that the 5V pins can do more, but I don't know how.

  So, now how can the 5V several pine source?  If she can't get enough, can I, on my board custom in small groups, provide an external 5V regulated?

  P.S. These can be used to power other sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, etc..

  5V on the sbRIO lines can virtue combined a total current of 2A.  There are more details on page 25 of the Manual.  Note that on the robot servo motor is already powered by 5V line.  In my view, that it takes something of the order of 100 to 200 my.

  I use an old version of LabView 7.1 and a Keithley 2410 communicate via GPIB.

  I want to do a simple program, sending a commando to the 2410 to source a current given, without interruption.

  Then in the light of time intervals, I want to read the current tension for logging in a txt file. My idea is to do this

  simply by sending orders to the Keithley 2410 stations. Could someone please give me a hint in the right

  direction to do?

  I'm not very good at LabView, but have done some simple programs using USB - DAQ before.

  I understood that the reason why I did not have all the data (and that the 2410 a frozen/hung) was that in vi GPIB READ, I did not specify the number of bytes to be read, and it didn't have a default value.

  After adding a constant to this entry, everything worked like a charm.

  Hi I have a common source of agilent B2901A and im trying to out put 100V... Since its able to regard 200V but I can't go abouve 21V. When I write something 21V it sends only 21V. Anyine know how to solve this problem. What is my values of compliance or the beach?

  OK nvm, I thought her thanks for all your help, only it turns out if I want to go above 42V I need a terminal locking. the problem through labview was mu limit compliance was too high.

  Someone at - it a driver GPIB of Labview 5.1.1 for Keithley 195 a power source?  The drivers on the driver search page OR only go back to version 7, and the driver was not on the driver installation cd.

  I came back up to 5 LabVIEW LabVIEW 7 driver. This will open in LabVIEW 5.1.1. It is possible that some of the screws could be broken while their decommissioning.

• How to vary the tension of a current source continuous using a sinusoidal signal on LabVIEW?

  Hi all!  I have a programmable supply of GW Instek PST - 3202 DC.  I want to test the resolution of temperature based on my power supply fluctuations.  I started to write a VI to do this, but I don't know how to vary the tension the sine wave-shaped.  I found the Wfm sinusoidal function in Signal Processing, but I don't know how to change the '1 d of double picture' which is the "double sink" waveform, which is where I apply the supply voltage waveform.  The VI is attached.

  The value of Format function will not accept a table, put it inside a loop. Use a shift register to add all the values in the table, to the string.

  I'll make a few measures of impedance and need a device to produce a signal of low current(0,1mA) 64kHz and to pick up 2 differential tensions. Are there materials Multifunction DAQ, which produces a constant current or can I use a device with an output voltage and a voltage converter?

  Why not just apply an alternating voltage and current measurement and the voltages?

  Another way to apply a rectangular waveform of 100µA: place a REF200 (100µA 2 references) in a diode bridge and apply a 64kHz squares

  I need to measure current in the range 5 to exit 10uA by a current source PIN. I would have usually connected PXI4065 on this PIN and measured current. But in this case the current to be measured is low.

  I have EMS 4130, which has high accuracy of current measurement to 200mA range (0.03%+0.02)uA.

  

  Can I use the current part of the EMS (CH1) measurement to measure current? What should I activate CV outputs (Hi = 0V) who appears in the soft front panel?

  Or just without activating the outputs I can measure the current sink. The program of flexible panel displays current measurements, but I don't know if the EMS can be used like that.

  Not sure NI SMEs, as I have not had the chance to use it yet.  SMU of Agilent could be used this way, so I guess with OR as well.  You must use out SMU in constant voltage source / I measure mode.  Would you say the SMU to hold the voltage at 0V, and allow current to the sink (or source) as necessary to maintain this 0V output.

  I just started today to use the multisim and want to analyze how the intensity of the LED (LED_ir in multisim) is performing the Photodiode (TEMD1000 in multisim) output current. How to adjust the intensity of the LED and check the corresponding output on the photodetector on the oscilloscope.

  I just built the attached LED design and don't know how to design the model for the foregoing analysis.

  Multisim works mainly with voltage and current, and whenever you need to represent the other phonominal naturual have a voltage or current source control.  For a TEMD100, you must connect to a source of voltage up to ternimal light represents the input light.

• NEITHER 6229 Analog channel to generate the current

  I use PXI-6229 to generate values of current analog output channel, but I get the following error:

  "Physical channel selected does not support the selected property. Select a channel that supports the property, or select a property that is supported by the selected channel"

  I tried with all 4 channels of analog output: ao0, ao1, ao2, ao3, but I got the same error with all. Also, when I run the examples OR to

  'CVI\Samples\DAQmx\Analog Out\Generate Current\Cont Curr Wfm - Int Clk Gen' location, I get the same error.

  Kindly let me know the solution for it.

  Outputs analog 6229 are sources of tension - not a current source constant.
