currently not connected to any network

I have a HP Omni 100-5050 all in one office. Windodws 7

Recently, it does not connect to the internet, and I get the message "no connection available.

When I go to network and sharing Center, I get the message "currently not connected to any network.

Until a few days before, everything was fine.  The only thing that may have changed, was an automatic

update windows.

I called HP support, and they offer a fix for a price.  Is this the only option I have?

Help!

PS My laptop is connected to the same network and works fine

Thank you for the additional information.

I am not sure, but I don't think that there is a wireless switch on the keyboard there is on most laptops.  This is considered as a desktop computer.

Have you updated the driver wireless?  This may solve your problem.

As a last resort, you may need to perform a system recovery.  This will take the computer to its original configuration.  You should back up your personal data if you decide to go this route.  I do this at least once a year.  He always makes the computer run better.

  • You are not currently connected to any networks

I have an acer aspire 5552 with windows 7. I have upgraded to windows 10 but because I could not fully access to my LAN, I went back to windows 7. Now windows 7 says I'm not connected to any network, while the cards are there and their settings can be changed. No network appear in the network and sharing Center. The status of the local network adapter and the wireless adapter is not connected, IPv4 and IPv6 not connected. I reloaded the drivers for 2 adapters but no change. I really want to go back to the factory State.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you revomaxx.

the solution proved to be the associated firewall. I use comodo firewall. When I unchecked the comodo selection in the network card settings, everything worked all of a sudden. I then reinstalled comodo and all was fixed.

    Hi omsaini,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

Sorry to hear that you have to connect to a wireless network adapter trouble.

To help you further on this subject, it would have been really helpful for us if you had

mentioned a few details such as:

    (1) is there an error message you get when you try to connect to the internet?
    (2) is the persistent problem with all browsers installed on the machine?
    (3) what is the brand and the type of the network adapter (whether ADSL or an adapter included)?

However, there are a few steps that we can try first:

    a. the following link has a very good tutorial on how to install a network adapter on the computer:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/is-is/Windows-XP/help/networking/install-wireless-network-adapter
(Note: the link is for Windows XP but works for Windows thus 7\8)

    c. also, you can visit the following links as well:

  • BlackBerry Z10 works: "your device is not connected to a network", but the staff is OK

    Good day to all,

We have a BDS server work with IBM Traveler.

We have 1 user who, since this morning, cannot receive email.

After looking around on the traveler and the BDS, servers, we found no manifest error.

On the phone, we can see that the Internet/personal workspace work perfectly.

But the BES 'Account' is in the status "not connected" and when you walk inside to examine the configs, we get the red message "your device is not connected to a network. To connect to a network and try again.

That is, of course, completely false as works of personal data and its other, personal accounts work correctly as well.

    10.1 device.

We triied what follows (no license):

-> Stop / start the data on the device.

-> Stop the data + mobile network > both start

    ->, Restart the phone

-> Go into airplane mode > back to normal.

We triied to reproduce the issue with the other 2 phones: both work well. If only 1 phone has the question.

The BES server shows that, since the beginning of the question, we get this:

    <#03>[30371] (05/23 11:35:39.365): {0xAD4} {John Smith} Packet cancelled locally, Tag = 1520726

We consider the deletion/re-create the account of a last resort and to explore other alternatives to build our knowledge base... but we are few ideas here!

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much!

  • Default gateway will not save on any network adapter

Recently, I built a brand new computer and installed Windows 7 above for someone else to use at our company. Everything was fine until today, when all of a sudden there is no network connectivity more. I had the adapter built into the motherboard and two separate network cards and have the same problem with all 3. I put a static IP address in a configuration of IP4 and it does not connect to the network. When I go back to check the default gateway settings is cleared and regardless of how many times I put it, he disappears constantly. Restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers does not solve the problem.

  • Windows 8 "not connected to the network" but it is, shows computers and can connect to the internet. How can I fix it

I used the Windows 8 Pro Upgrade on a Windoxs XP pro installation.  Everything works except that the network and sharing Center indicates that the computer is not connected to a network, but it is.  I can files in front on other computers on the network (at home) and I can access the internet.  The active profile is public, although it should be private. I created this to access the homegroup during installation.

I'm trying to get a first HD Homerun operation and if Media Center does not have any network, he sees no tuner either.

What can I do to get this working properly.

    a. no red X

    1. I tried to download a different driver, but it didn't work at all so cancelled.  To check if it was a pilot, I bought a usb wireless adapter.  I've disabled the ethernet connection and used the wireless connection.  The results are the same regardless of which connection I use.

    2. ran every convenience store without success

    3. services were what they were supposed to be

4 safe mode is worse.  No network connection (cannot see other computers in all), although internet is accessible

5 start gives the same results. "You are not connected to a network" yet the computers on the network are visible and accessible top records.  Internet is available.

I installed the software very little on this computer (just installed Win 8 last week.)

The only installed software is software HP Officejet L7680, Brother HL5250DN & first Silicon Dust HD Homerun software driver. I'm trying to set up basically as a DVR, so very little will be on it.

The only thing I can think is that I started with the installation of XP has been implemented using a VPN to connect to our network at work. This means that the computer should be part of the field it. Is it possible victory 8 retrieves these settings and now here's what's causing my problems? (I think that very few came from an installation of XP, but I noticed that some parameters met).

I plan to start again and re-installed Win 8 a last ditch effort... If you can offer any suggestions on repairing this conditioin, please provide me with the best way to re - install Win 8 as a clean install (without the things I installed). I'll then make sure that the network is working correctly before installing anything.

    *************************************************************************************************************

A follow-up for this reading. My problem was apparently caused by the upgrade of XP and usinging Dungeon files and SETTINGS. Although there are very limited items brought back an installation of XP, something is buried somewhere off network connections.

To solve this problem, Windows 8 has a new feature called reset. This essentially Setup all over again if you choose the option to delete files. You must enter the product key again when you do this. This is a clean install.  I had to update the graphics card drivers, add Media Center back, install HD Homerun Prime, run the Advisor of cable, making the TV configuration and finally got it works as I had expected.

  • Extremely low signal wireless unable to connect to any network

    Hello

I bought just a Studio 1535 and can not get the wireless to connect to any network unless I put the computer 2 feet or closer to the router.

I am running Vista Home Premium, and according to the Device Manager my wireless is a Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini card.

When I'm right next to a router, I can connect either password protected or not.  Also, I have other computers can connect to each network without any problems.  I know that this is not a router problem.  I tried with several different routers and several different locations.

I can see a long list of points connect wireless, each with what reads like excellent signal.  However, when I tell the computer to connect, I get a screen "Windows cannot connect to the ____."  When I select diagnose the problem, it says "Wireless association failed because windows did not receive response from the access point or wireless router.

Dell support will not help me because I bought the computer at Best Buy and Geek Squad wants to send my computer is turned off (which I had for a day) to be diagnosed.  I would rather here check everything first...

Thanks to all helpers, let me know what information you need from me!
