cursor bug

The cursor is placed anywhere in a line as well. It is therefore difficult to enter data and text sometimes.

  • Big mouse cursor Bug

Seriously do the end of my tether with my Y560 - from time to time (often enough that it is becoming quite a nuisance) the mouse cursor suddenly becomes very large and pixelated. I replaced all drivers with those newer to the Lenovo Web site and had no luck, the problem continues to be. This problem does not occur in the attached poster, only my main LCD and switching resolutions gives a temporary solution, but after awhile, it inevitably happens again.

  • Possible bug found in hyperlinkctrl.c when you use the "VAL_POINTING_FINGER_CURSOR" mouse cursor in your own user interface.

Hi people, I think I found a bug in the hyperlinkctrl.c custom control, after the update/upgrade an old project CVI.

I found when I started using the "VAL_POINTING_FINGER_CURSOR" mouse in my UI, when adding a new hyperlink control.

The error is recoverable error: ' from the mouse cursor is not valid.

This error breaks in RunUserInterface (never seen anything like this before and I use CVI since version 3.1).

This happens whenever I mouse - hovering anywhere on the Panel that contains the new hyperlink control.

I also had a hack temporary to solve the problem, for now, I'll pass it along to this announcement...

The hyperlink control's source code is located in \toolslib\custctrl\hyperlinkctrl.c

The bug/problem lies in the service of reminder (of HyperLinkPanelCallback), specifically in lines 460 to 465.

This hyperlink control wants to use the VAL_POINTING_FINGER_CURSOR as its default cursor when you hover over the custom hyperlink.

However, if you already use 'VAL_POINTING_FINGER_CURSOR' in your user interface, the branch which verifies that you use what he thinks is 'his own' thread-safe mouse cursor ID, so that can reset it by using his "token concatenation" - created macro "GetTsvCursor", is not an 'else' branch to protect the picture when you actually use the cursor pointing finger... where the error that the mouse cursor is not valid. Here is the snippet of these lines.

The mouse is not over a hyperlink
    If (cursor is VAL_POINTING_FINGER_CURSOR)
    {
Reset the cursor to the previous cached cursor
    cursor = GetTsvCursor();
    errChk (SetMouseCursor (cursor));

    ... etc...

    }

So my hack was to change the type of cursor to "VAL_CHECK_CURSOR" in place and place the cursor of "VAL_POINTING_FINGER_CURSOR" in three locations in this function, then rebuilt files x 86 and x 64.

Hey Luis, finally win a free T-shirt of LabWindows/CVI with not only have reported this bug, but also to give the precise location of the source, as well as a work around?

    :^)

In the meantime, I have submitted a bug with ID #545203 report to track down this problem.

  • BUG: Insertion of the text cursor Point

Anyone had any luck placing the text cursor at the beginning or the end of a line on the meadow in any application when its towards the edge of the screen?  For example, pretend that the ^ is where they place the cursor when you type to move.

T ^ he dog jumped over the fence ^ e

It the hell out of me to bugs and is only a problem when the text is towards the sides of the screen.  When you press to move the cursor, you can place only after the second letter at the beginning or at the second to last to the end.  If you must correct these letters, you must remove and way back just to obtain appropriate cursor positioning.  On the iPhone, you can just press on and hold to bring up the magnifying glass and drag the slider to where ever you need.  WebOS needs a same function, or at least set on which you can place the cursor where you need.

I'm looking for a solution to this, but had no luck.  Any ideas?

PLCE the cursor to the place, you need, and then press and hold the Orange key. The cursor will be arrows around it and you can move by dragging your finger. This will work much matter where your finger.

  • BUG: Cursor JTextArea leaves trails while scrolling

Editing of large text files (1000 + lines) in a JTextArea when you scroll up/down with the keyboard sometimes the cursor leaves a trail (intermittently).

I've attached an example of screen shot to show the problem. It only seems to happen in Windows. In the picture, I hold in the arrow key down.

This bug seems to begin around Java 6 Update 14. I posted a prior bug report but never got any attention.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

Works fine on my machines (recompiled for java 6u32 Windows 7 laptop and presented as-is on the windows desktop 7u17 Java 7). I have blocked a lot of lines in there and I scrolled aimlessly with mouse and keyboard, no problems.

So yes... it shows the bug on your computer. Have you tried on others? He finds that since Java 6 update 10, Swing has a way of drawing accelerated by Direct3D which is enabled by default. If you run the application with - Dsun.java2d.d3d = false, the problem then disappears? If so your video drivers must suck - really.

  • Photoshop bug: Cursor stuck in mouse after release (Mac OS)

When you drag the different sliders in Photoshop CS5, very often these sliders "stuck" and move with the mouse, even if you have unlocked the mouse. Say that you drag a slider to set the opacity of the brush to 50%. When you put 50%, you release the mouse button and move it away from the slide, to see that opacity again increases or decreases as you move your mouse. You must click again to solve this problem, but of course you will need to go back and start over.

Here's a small illustration (I can't take a screenshot of my mouse) an example of when this happens:

    lower-opacity copy.jpg

    • Happens to me around once every 5 times I use a cursor, which is very often. As you can imagine, it is very annoying and frustrating.
    • I use a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, and I never use Photoshop without him so I can't confirm if this bug occurs with a mouse or just the tablet.
    • This does not happen just like on the illustration above, but also with any cursor like adjustment layers and filters.
    • The bug does not occur when you use the tools on the Web (thankfully). If the Brush tool and other tools, works very well and never gets "stuck".
    • I have the latest version of Photoshop CS5.
    • This is a bug that has been since the first version in CS5, and it was not in earlier versions of Photoshop.

Does anyone else have this problem? Someone else with a Tablet?

I know there are large quantities of similar, extremely annoying bug in CS5, but this one is just driving me crazy.

    End 2008 15 "MacBook Pro

OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.7 (but the problem existed long before 10.6.7)

    Photoshop CS5 version 12.0.2

Have you installed the 10.6.7 update? (it corrects some bugs the OS event management).

You have third-party plug-ins installed? If so, try to disable them. (because some buggy plugins are known to eat/mangle events)

If CS5 is running slowly for you, then something is wrong with your system - it might be the operating system, or a third-party plugin.

    Hello

Thank you for taking the time to notify us of these issues.  We are truly working with Mozilla and Apple on these specific issues.  I don't know the status of fix for Safari, but I checked in Firefox 6, the problem is solved.  Unfortunately that I do not have deadlines for their release and I have a work-around, since these are questions that browser vendors will have to fix.

  • Text cursor moves back

I want to preface this by saying: I'm on Firefox Beta for Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 was last updated.

For about 2 days now my text cursor back at the beginning of the text box when I start typing. I have seen it happen on Twitter, the Web of WhatsApp and Medium (which is the worst offender, by typing completely backward). I know that being on the beta, I would expect a bug or two, but I don't think that something like that could pass through.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I foresee only staying on beta until 40 Firefox comes out, but I would still do not pull my hair until then.

You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox > Preferences > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox > Preferences > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

Cannot access settings, cannot put the cursor in the URL box. Tried unsuccessfully compatibility modes. I can not able to use this browser on Thursday, March 26, but it worked without problem Wednesday, March 25. My speculation would be that among the latest two updates nightly broke it. The displayed issue of Chrome, like Firefox does not.

Hello, this seems to be a known bug that is being developed (bug #1147953).
Please also note that windows 10 is in it's pre-release preview State and there are still changes the basic platform, it will not be fully supported by firefox and things are required to be wrong on occasion.

  • Bug in the transition from the groups of tabs when the mouse is over a tab

I use two groups of tabs, each around 3-10 tabs open. I press Ctrl +' to switch between groups of two tabs. Everything works fine except when I have the chance to have the mouse cursor positioned on a tab when I press Ctrl +'. In this case, Firefox seems to get confused and I get an unpredictable mixture of the two groups of tabs tabs. I have to then move mouse tab and then press Ctrl +' twice to the tab group good I tried to move on. It's boring.

I think it started in FF29, but I'm not sure.

First of all, I would like to confirm that it is a bug. Secondly, I would like to see it attaches. I tried to find info on this several times without success. Anyone know anything about this?

    Thank you.

OK nevermind, I did some more research and found a bug in Bugzilla for it. The bug has been fixed and I've confirmed with a night generation. Looking forward from the set in a regular release.

  • Trackpad unresponsive - big bug

    Hello world

Me and my GF had this problem surprisingly at the same time on two Macbook Pro 15 "(mi-2010 et mi 2012) 400 km far (so no sort of influence each other)"

After the upgrade of El Capitan for the 10.11.5 release the trackpad becomes unresponsive/crazy and the cursor starts jumping around.

We have tried to remove dust (although I've excluded because of maintenance I have for the Mac), clean the surface, reset the NVRAM, reset the SMC by removing the battery.

No bumps have been detected on the batteries. We tried to hard cock down to the contrary simply stop the mac. No improvement.

We were afraid of the virus and I have confidence I formatted my drive around and quickly installed new El Capitan. Still no improvement here.

We always have this problem in safe mode.

It seems pretty clear to me that this is a problem with the upgrade. Either the new firmware of the trackpad is bug, watch here is really annoying a planned obsolescence

Do you have an idea of what kind of other tests I could try? Apple is aware of this problem? Thank you!

  • Bug using a Wacom Intuos graphics tablet with iWork?

    Hello

I use a small Wacom Intuos Pro for a long time. But since ca 2 weeks in Pages, Numbers and Keynote I can not keep the selected text by dragging the cursor over the text. Right now I have raise the pen, the text is deselected. Using the trackpad works fine. Or just the arrows + Shift.

I installed a few weeks ago, the new Numbers, Pages, and Keynote versions. I think that after that the bug occurred. But perhaps after installing a new driver from Wacom.

MacBookPro late 2007, the most recent operating system.

    Greetings,

    Claus

Check if Wacom has updated drivers tablet again after the version you have installed. Otherwise, you are using an input device with third-party drivers tablet, and it will be difficult at best in order to determine if it's an OS X, Wacom, or the problem of enforcement capability Apple. If you have MS Word, selection of pen you describe works properly it?

Are you trying to make use of Panel preference ink system Apple which is only displayed when a Tablet and stylus are detected?

More recent OS X is 10.11.5. Update to that though, not to this version, then update the Wacom software if more recent (and compatibility with 10.11 is specified). Repeat the test.
