Cursor selects and/or open things without a press of button or click simply by being put near something selectable
Original title: after upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista cursor selects and/or open things without a press of button or clicks simply by being put near something selectable. Help, please!
Recently upgraded my gateway from Vista to Windows 7. Now the cursor selects often things it is nearby or pass and the computer was faster at the beginning but now it can be slow to load pages, etc. It is terrible and has caused at least one major and made problems a horror to use my laptop.
WTF?
Hello damatriarch06,
You are welcome. It is what we are trying to do... help people! Thanks for letting me know that the problem is solved.

Hey upond, wake up the system from standby by pressing a key on the keyboard the key I press continue at the entrance. For example the system goes to sleep and I wake up with the G button and open internet explore and click on the address bar it goes GGGGGGGGGGGGG until I hit another key to cancel it. After doing this it behaves normally. I use a wireless keyboard and the keyboard and mouse using set im is the Kensington Ci70. I was wondering if anyone else encountered this minor annoyance.
Your wireless keyboard is probably a driver issue. It would be easy enough to use the SHIFT key to wake up to a better driver is available for your system. I expect it to be an update of the BIOS, or a chipset (by ACPI) driver.

My mouse cursor freezes and I have to reboot for it to release
original title: frozen
My mouse cursor freezes and I have to restart for his release, when I click to go back a page or click on the x to close the page, it won't work, I have to keep clicking on it and then finally it will go ahead and work, it also as the page is too frozen. Also when I type, the letters don't just type, they released the letters wrong or when I type, the letters will go out to a lot of the same quick true letter and I try to go back to clear them and sometimes it stops to type the letters when I'm a backspace to erase the letters, it's strange.
Hello
Make sure that all of the mouse and/or the keyboard drivers are up to date, if no 3rd party driver is used.

My dozens of bookmarks, I often want to open 5 or 6 of them at the same time - maybe a couple of weather reports, a couple of radio stations, a couple of other Web sites. But I see no way to do this without laboriously find a bookmark, select it, opening the site, then return to the Favorites, find the second bookmark, select it, open the site and so on. There is probably a way for me to select several independent bookmarks, then open them at the same time. Thanks a lot for your help. Don
Oh I see, when I read your question, my understanding is that you have Web sites that you are opening regularly you would like to open all at once. This is why I have proposed to create a folder with these specific bookmarks.
However, your clarification, it seems that you want to open Web sites randomly here and there. So, essentially, you want to SELECT favorite sites and then open them at the same time.
There is a way to do it. Access your bookmarks by clicking on the menu button drop-down orange Firefox (upper-left). It is:
- Go to \Firefox\Bookmarks\Show all bookmarks;
- Click on "Bookmarks Menu" (in the sidebar);
- Use the CTRL key to select your favorite Web sites.
- Right click and choose "all open tabs.
It's always a bit laborious, but it's the easiest way, I could find, especially if you want to open several tabs at the same time.

I don't know what to do about Java - my Mac is horribly slow, and I was advised to remove Java, it installs adware. The more I studied, the more information, I've seen say that most of the Web sites and software do not use Java on Mac more. So I deleted everything related with Java. But now it will not open Photoshop without Java. It will be safe if I get it directly from the Oracle site?
You can download the installer for OS X directly from Oracle. Be sure to uncheck everything installs 'optional' which can appear at the beginning (I think on Windows it wants to install McAfee trial or the toolbar Bing - not really malware, more as desired and useless crud-ware). I have a course Java JRE install on my MacBook Pro retina like some internal tools we have developed to work are currently java and I use a tool of u. Toronto called CytoScape is Java. Sites Web will use Java Script, a very different beast and does not require a full Java or JRE install. But with Java/JRE installed, just be sure of the source of any software that you download and install that is java based (as you should with all the software that you put on your machine).
In addition, for PhotoShop, it says that you need the legacy Java 6 for OS X? If so, then don't waste your time on the current version, just install that release 6 legacy.

After stopping Firefox opens again without history and previous tabs
Before each trip, I quit Firefox 31 my Mac Pro 10.9.4. He had several extensions, bookmarks and open tabs. I've done this hundreds of times without problem and Firefox always opens with everything intact. Then I stop my Mac.
This time, on return, I started my Mac, clicked on Firefox to open it, and it opened as a blank Firefox version. He was still Firefox 31, but all my extensions have disappeared, my story was gone, clearly my Session Manager had disappeared and all my previously opened tabs disappeared.
How can I recover the Firefox I have quit smoking before I stop my Mac? P
COR - el,
I was able to recover a backup off site of the cloud of August 4. I see two similar 9kn2yszu.default and 9kn2yszu.default\searchplugins profilesThe profiles.ini only uses the first profile. It turns out that this same profile is one of the two that exists on my Mac. But it doesn't have the same content!
A profiles.ini made an appearance on my Mac now.
I was thinking about copying and pasting the contents of my backup profile to replace content in my current of the same name, as per profile
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/back-and-restore-information-Firefox-profiles
I was going to wait for your ok, but I guess I can't do more damage that I have, so I'm going to come.
. . . . . . . .Well I did, and it seems to have worked. I have all my tabs back and two windows of Firefox using Session Manager which is also back back.
I mark this solved when I get your comments and if you can suggest this as another profile, 9kn2yszu.default\searchplugins, is on about. Should I copy it to my profile as well?
I realize that my Time Machine backups were not corrupted by them open at the same time as the Finder on my Mac. Patterns were the same, but the content of this profile of August 6 looks at the content of the profile of the same name by August 4 I used. But, the same file, just before I made my copy and paste had lost almost half of its elements.
It could be a good idea if Firefox was a way to save their profiles automatically to another file somewhere else. This doesn't happen often, but I lost only several precious hours over the past three days to get it resolved.
Thanks again, for help.

1st generation Apple TV is dead. Orange light but no screen and no resetting of distance. I tried direct connection to Mac and iTunes open and he's not here. Is it possible to restore to the factory without screen or remote workin
I guess you tried maintained low men together for about 6 seconds - silver 1 ATV that will restart to the diagnostic partition but who would rely on the hard disk is functional and if it was ok that wouldn't work with the logic board failure.
I guess you have not fed and attempted to restart.
In case your AppleTV think it is paired with another remote try Menu and left arrow for 6 seconds - the light now intervenes when you press the buttons on the remote?
Also, it could be in the video mode bad - try Menu and upward arrow together for 6 CES switch video modes, but implies that he actually started OK.
