Curve of 9320 blackBerry Smartphones don't synchronize with desktop Manager 7.1

I bought a bb curve 9320 second hand.  It has been deleted and I loaded the latest Desktop Manager software.  Despite a hard reboot the phone, which allows storage of mass etc.  My computer does not recognize the phone.  Not at all.  It does not even show it as a mass storage device.  I saw this posted on a bit, but nobody came with a solution I've seen.  I'm pretty disappointed with the software as a first time BB user, I must admit.

I am running Windows 7, SP 1

You use a cable when you connect your phone to the pc?  If so, three options hit up, choose USB.  Your phone's display should show a phone and computer synchronization.  If not, and it is not always grateful for your device, you have considered your cable may be defective?  Sorry, this is such a suggestion of low level.  I'm also using a 9320, downloaded the latest version of software of office and all works well.

    Hi all

I just moved to a new PC (ex: Sony Vaio with win 7 pro, outlook 10 pro > new: duo of vaio from sony with win 8, Outlook 13 home office 365). I used to sync outlook contacts and calendars with blackberry and iphone and ipad on my old laptop using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Now with my new PC, iphone and ipad are always works well and they synchronize with outlook: new entries on the outlook calendar and new contacts are added to my laptop and vice versa, but when I connect my Blackberry "BOLD" I n get the updates.

I confirm that I use the latest version of the desktop manager 7.0.

My organizing Office Manager is configured to sync both calendar and contacts

  • Curve of blackBerry Smartphones used to synchronize with outlook

I had my phone for about 2 months with no problems.  I tried to sync the BB through the USB port on my Outlook calendar.  It goes to a certain folder and no synchronization.  The program of the break, then he must stop State.

I tried to reinstall the software, take the battery and try again.  Now, the Director of bureau says that there is no device connected, when the phone is in effect.  It is connected through the same USB cable and port, as always with success, I used.  The device shows that it is load and connected via USB, and I can use the card out of holder, which means to me that the computer recognizes the device, but the Desktop Manager is not.

I also tried to delete all of the rim as shown in another post on the Board of Directors, and this solution didn't or didn't help.

    Help!  Thank you!

I think I can understand the problem.

I have indeed restart the computer, and I use only a USB cord, not a docking station.

Here's what I think I've found somehow.  BlackBerry dislikes Outlook folders with weird things in the note section (i.e.. Attachments or html links).  There is a calendar folder that I noticed that I added when this happened.  He had an html link in the section notes.  After removing the link in this article, I did the following:

    (1) use the Blackberry software disk and completely uninstall the Desktop Manager

    (2) battery Blackberry tour and take 1 minute.

    (3) when the battery is out of Blackberry, reinstall Office Manager.

    (4) restart the computer.

    (5) replace the battery and turn on BlackBerry.

    (6) run Desktop Manager

    (7) select synchronization > Configuration tab > Reset Configuration - this tab closing button

    (8) reconnect the Blackberry with the USB cable.

    (9) sync Outlook calendar

Seems to work!  If all goes well it will continue to work, but if not, I'll let you know.  Thanks for the questions!  Hope this helps someone else.

  • Curve of blackBerry Smartphones will not synchronize with Outlook 2007 calendar

    First the specs:

    BB 8330 m (CDMA) - Cellular South - running v 4.5.0.127
    Win XP Pro SP3
    Outlook 2007
DM is v 5.0.0 B28 multilingual - with Media Manager
    No BES

    The problem:

Although the phone and Outlook calendar had been able to synchronize (either via Bluetooth or USB) for centuries without problem, which, obviously, is no longer the case.

There is no error message.  Contacts, tasks, and Notepad (also through Outlook) always sync without problem. Verification of synchronization with all categories, the value sync log shows all the programs that synchronize, without making any mention of the calendar.  If you synchronize with only the timing checked, no log is created, and the synchronization bar stops for a few seconds to one Moment please... step and then flashes. This isn't a shared calendar.

Measures already taken, in no particular order:

Insured email address appropriate defined as CICAL, removed other CICAL service books.

Reset the Configuration of the synchronization

Tried different USB ports (although, as indicated, other programs synchro)

    Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs, repaired DM.

DM backup and restore: BB saved, then deleted all entries in calendar-All

Confirmed that H - key current user and Local Machine had the proper authorization

    File Intelisync deleted

Insured that Microsoft Outlook is set as default email in Internet Options

Resets BB hard and frequent restarts of the computer throughout the process.

There were probably a few other simple actions taken which I forgot to list.

Last effort: DM uninstalled and reinstalled so that at the same time hard reset of BB.

Another thing that is probably not related, but I spend in case:

"" While looking for all the foregoing, I used only the "dossiers\ personal calendar" in the goal specific decision on this failure to synchronize the question, I've always previously synchronized two calendars: PersonalFolders\Calendar and PersonalFolders\Calendar\SubCalendar, with the calendar from the subfolder to set as default.  So everything that I put on my BB calendar synchronized to Subcalendar on the PC, while PC's SubCalendar synchronized to the unique calendar on the BB and calendar.  Trying to set that upward again after all the steps above didn't, I see not what can be a problem.  While in the window folder mapping, it says calendar <--->2 folders mapped to the left of the map files button, it says 1 or mapped files.  Now, I suppose that he said this because a calendar is one subfolder of the other, but I throw it out there just in case, in fact, it is significant.

I thank you in advance for your suggestions, you can offer.

Try to remove all the service books "Email_Address [CICAL]" and synchronize after that.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not synchronize with the USB cable plugged into charge pod

    Hello

I read on the web site of shopblackberry.com, in the details of charge pod ( http://www.shopblackberry.com/_blackberryaccessories/cgi-bin/pd.cgi?frompage=category&page=product_d... ) that the pod can handset with charger travel or data cable for charge and/or sync with a BlackBerry smartphone. So, my question is related on a problem or a misunderstanding of me to this description.

I want to know if we could recharge and synchronize the BlackBerry via USB cable or is only responsible for the BlackBerry when connected that way. My second question is, is it possible to synchronize the BlackBerry with the USB cable plugged into the pod or not?

Because I got a request from one of my users about the fact that his BlackBerry 9000 can not synchronize when it is on his group.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

It's a loading dock. It is useful, because just drag you your "BOLD" in there and it will load (just like the 8300 Curve).
If you want to synchronize, you can plug a usb on the side of the appliance cord. This can be done while the machine is in its dock, where the description.

I have the same crib, but for the 8300. It's really worth buying. I'm happy with it every day.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not synchronize with Outlook calendar (2007)

I downloaded the latest version of the Desktop Manager, but now the 9700 synchronize with calendar.  I am going through the installation of the configuration program, and it shows its there but when I sync, it reverts to "calendar not installed."  From what I understand, there seems to be a conflict between "Personal calendar" and "Business calendar" when you map the fields, so that the Setup program does not.

Is there a work around for this?  After dozens of tests, I wondered if maybe I need to reinstall Outlook?  If you want, I can email the screen shots I took of the process.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphone error synchronizing Calendar using Desktop Manager 4.7, Outlook 2003, on the storm

I just installed Desktop Manager on my PC (Windows XP).

    Contacts sync fine.

    Calendar does not synchronize:

    "Treatment device calendar" is fine.

'Reading of MS Outlook calendar' is where the error occurs:

  • BlackBerry smartphones without media work of Desktop Manager Options

I got my Blackberry in November. Recently, I decided to add music, but I keep getting media file is corrupted. I uninstalled Office Manager, downloaded the latest version and reinstalled (including the Media Manager). I did all the updates as well. I always get a corrupted file. So I decided to use the option to synchronize with iTunes. Who says that I have to use an administrative access. But when I use admin access, the phone connects to the desktop.

In my quest for answers, it seems there is a HUGE problem and its annoying that there is no tech support (without pay) for something that should work.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd like to hear it.

I had already installed, uninstalled, downloaded the latest version and installed the Manager of office without success. When I connect my phone via USB this register as its connected, but when I use Explorer to find the drives, the drive is there, but what it says "insert disc". So I removed and used SD reader.

However, I checked and it seems that the mass storage option is "off". Turn worked to connect the phone to USB and find the storage disk. Thank you!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how do you remove Desktop Manager

A few weeks ago, I installed Desktop Manager.  For several reasons, I want to uninstall when I tried the uninstall program, he said:

    Uninstall failed:

Components of some BlackBerry® Desktop Manager may not have been removed from your

computer.  Try to re-boot and start again.

No idea how to make sure that it's all gone?  Some have mentioned to use a program called AppZapper, but is there a list of the files that are installed?

FYI: When I installed DM he says that he will make other unusable synchronization programs.  Currently, I can synchronize with Missing Sync, but only if I press the button "sync" of the Mac.  If I try to press the "sync" on the BB, nothing happens (it worked before installing DM) tells me that not all DM components have been removed.

Any help with the names and locations of all the components of DM would be appreciated.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how spend off the Desktop Manager to auto start when I turn on my PC?

    I have a laptop DELL Lattitude 420.

I installed the software Blackberry "BOLD".

Everything works fine. So far so good.

My laptop has 2Gig RAM and it's very fast to start when it is first turned on.

However, the start-up time is 5 minutes from now when I have to turn it on and then can start using other applications on my laptop.

Because the "BOLD" Blackberry Desktop Manager takes so long to get into action.

Why the BB Desktop Manager tries to turn on automatically whenever I start up the laptop?

How can I disable my BB Desktop Manager so to start as soon as my computer is turned on?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get the Desktop Manager to recognize the connection to the device

I tried for days now to get the Desktop Manager to recognize a connection on my phone so that I can sync my Outlook contacts and calendar.  So far, I deleted and reinstalled the Manager several times.  I downloaded and installed the driver package.  I tried to do a battery pull before connecting the phone.

Whenever I connect the phone Microsoft "new hardware found" Wizard opens and it recognizes the Blackberry device but it cannot complete the installation of the phone because apparently missing a driver.

I love the phone, but it is useless for me until and unless I can sync it with Outlook.  Any suggestions?

OK, I found and fixed the problem!  It had to do with the new Windows assistant material not being able to find the driver for the Blackberry device.  When I did the uninstall process part included saving the pilot atl.dll.  I assumed it was the driver that I needed to make things work.  I searched on the C: drive for the file, and when the new device Wizard came I pointed to the spot.  The Assistant began to load the driver.  He asked another file that is part of the Service Pack 2 of Windows and I searched and found this one as well and directed the Assistant for her.  It finishes loading and the device is connected.

The problem at the end of the day was that the wizard could not find the driver that he needed, even if it is there all the time.

Thank you for the help, it lead me to the solution I needed.

  • Problem blackBerry sync Outlook 2003 calendar with Desktop Manager 5.0 Smartphones

    Hello

I just downloaded the new 5.0 BB Desktop Manager software (I was reluctant to do so for weeks because I didn't start having problems, I now of course). All of a sudden my Outlook calendar (2003) is not at all with the device, despite my software that is configured to do this. All other items perfectly synch - address book, tasks and memos - but the address book synchronization is yet to start, is not as if I get error messages.

What I come back to the Desktop Manager 4.7 - and if yes, can someone guide me through 5.0 uninstall and reinstallation of the 4, 7--or is there a workaround? Trying to avoid spending hours on the phone with Verizon that will close just pass me BB support!

    Thank you!

Are you sure that there are no default [CICAL] in your service books? Otherwise, you can clear the calendar making it:

Select Desktop Manager > Backup and Restore > advanced. On the right side you will see all the databases. Select calendar and click 'clear '. Who will wipe everything on the calendar. Then go back and restart the sync of the calendar. If she does not add entries to the phone and wants to remove items from your Outllok, use the option "sync" and you should be ok. Make a backup before doing this, just in case!
