  Once you have created a watermark, you must apply that created watermark when exporting the image from Lightroom.

  Hi belindawolfe, there is a file a high level called profiles.ini. After you have copied your old profile folder over to the new profile folder, you must add the name of the folder to profiles.ini in order to be able to use it. I think that there are other threads with advice on the best way to do it.

• After sorting the bookmarks are not sorted. Why?

  After finding the sort under view feature not organize, I have them sorted by alphabetical order. I did this several times using the alphabetical feature and functionality from A to Z, but they come back in a random order in the bookmarks Show menu and on the toolbar of bookmarks. I had a kind of auto add on.

  The menu displays in the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) is to display bookmarks in a different sort order (where the name of views) and does not sort the bookmarks permanently.

  In Firefox, the ability to sort the bookmarks is available only for files and not for the individual bookmarks.
  
  Right click on a folder to open the context menu and choose "Sort by name" in the left pane of the Manager of bookmarks or in the sidebar to sort bookmarks alphabetically or drag the bookmarks to the required position.
  
  If does not work by dragging and then use cut and paste.

  We use MDEX version 6.2.1
  I put a digdx flag as below, in general to maintain order, if no sorting is selected by the user, product will be displayed in alphabetical order of display_Name.

  display_Name < arg > | CSA < / arg >
  
  We have two more properties enabled to sort, namely the Vintage and price (user can choose to screen and sort the results), but I'm not defining all the indicators of digdx for these two, but their enequery updated nuer setNavActiveSortKeys (ERecSortKeyList)
  1. by default search results are coming in alphabetical order of display_Name - works fine as expected
  2. where a sort of user on Vintage - the results are sorted by Vintage as expected, however two or more records with the same value vintage (links on the Vintage) do not come in alphabetical order of the display_Name
  
  Surprised by this behavior, because when I used digdx flag his defining clearly records alphabetically on display_Name on index, but why this order is not maintained when the results are tied to vintage, completely distraught
  
  Can someone help out me, am I missing something here or BUGs you guys together?

  Hi Dev,

  When the request is made to sort explicitly on the 'Vintage', it will not automatically cascade to use the "display_Name" like breaking to sort the records with the same value of "Vintage". You can observe that the setNavActiveSortKeys method accepts an ERecSortKeyList. This ERecSortKeyList allows you to create a list of the properties and dimensions for sorting. If you want to sort by Vintage first, followed by display_Name, then 'Add' ERecSortKey 'Vintage' first, followed of an ERecSortKey corresponding to 'display_Name '. This will update the sort order to meet your needs.

• Why firefox says that yahoo, google, etc. are not secure Web sites when they are and, therefore, they do not allow their loading.

  Before the new update for Firefox 50.0 these pages loading very well and are secure sites. Since then, Firefox is saying that they are not secure and therefore not loading not them. Some would explain by saying that maybe it is your internet connection or system, but I use this same pc and internet without any problem.

• Why does not create a folder lightroom? (why my photos are not import?)

  Recently, I downloaded lightroom cc on my 2008 MacBook. My friend has this program and so I know the ins and outs on how to work everything. I tried to import a folder and pictures and files that my computer had created, but had not created a lightroom folder in the pictures folder under my user profile that hers is appeared in my folder of creative cloud had done. I then tried to send photos from various sources (e.g. directily to camera, sim card, folder, to the download folder, etc.) and the photos were not yet able to import. The first set of 10 photos appear instantly, now 2-5 photos that I keep trying to download from these different sources would never finish import. What is my problem here?

  Thanks for the update. Look at where your Lightrooms catalog.

  • Go to Lightroom > catalog settings > General
  • Select Show

  In addition,

  • Reset the preferences of Lightroom
  • Your catalog backup and close Lightroom
  • Hold down Command + Option + shift keys when you start Lightroom and select Yes at the prompt to reset the preferences.

In the morning, when I wake up the computer it alerts me that there are updates available, and I have to click the balloon to install the updates. Meanwhile my anti virus is update solange wake up also. Both are supposed to occur automatically during the night. Shouldn't these scheduled etc. updates works even if the computer is asleep?

  When Vista is in "standby", like updating the activity is suspended.

• Sync folder - shows new images, but they are not

  Lately I have had a few records that I could make a virtual copy or add metadata - when I right click to synchronize the folder, the shortcut menu shows that it is 30 new photos to import. When I click the sync button, the screen goes through the import phase and then a dialog box comes up saying no. Photos or videos found.

  No harm seems to come from this, but it is kind of annoying, and I still wonder and worry that I might be screwing something up?

  I checked and in a first time was surprised by the differences... but on further examination, it seems that they are the same except that finder has all the files, .xmp... then Yes, they are the same numbers in all cases, I checked.

  The text at the top left States the number of images in LR film now showing in a given folder (or collection) vs. the total number. It's maybe less, due to the stacking, or due to a display filter.

  OTOH, the total number of images LR can be easily larger than the number of presents, if some of these images in LR are virtual copies of image files.

  In addition to XMP sidecar files number of files Finder can also reflect sidecar JPG files, if you shot Raw + JPG. Unless you chose to see these independently within LR, they won't have the count of LR. Also other programs use their own, named differently, metadata sidecar files. County of LR may of course include images in subfolders, or not.

  The actual file content matching, with what we see within LR, so is quite problematic and indirect. Is IMO better to think the concept of file in LR, as a report database that was executed. No, 'what is in this folder"- but that, ' what are the pictures of this catalogue currently claim to be associated with this folder." This is how LR can always keep such a number, even though the record and the affected files are offline / missing.

  I'm having the same problem. Create a shortcut to open a website in Google Chrome, pin it to start, to open and close Chrome a couple of times, and the tile is removed from the start screen. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself... :(

  More info: even after the tiles disappear from the splash screen, shortcuts remain in the AppData/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/folder. Try to pin shortcuts in menu start again creates new tiles, for example ' website (2) ", and after the closing and opening Google Chrome again, that will disappear too.

  Usually this problem is due to corruption of user profiles or reason to set another browser as default. I would like to know some information about this problem so that we can help you further.

  1. is this problem confined to any specific Web site shortcuts?

  2. you use Internet Explorer as your web browser by default?

  3. are you facing the same issue on another user account?

  I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.

  Method 1:

  As a first step, try to create a Web site on the Internet Explorer shortcut and check if the same problem exists with Internet Explorer or not.

  Method 2:

  If you do not have a different user account, and then try to create a new user account and check if the problem persists. This is to check if the problem is caused due to a corruption of user profiles or not.

• EPMA 11.1.2.1 dimension build from FlatFile to EPMA to EssbaseASO using ODI, Member, sort order issues

  We build our EssbaseASO cube using FlatFiles this work who are pushed to EPMA via the interface tables, EPMA Essbase app then is deployed to Essbase, everything is done through an ODI/package interface. The problem I am facing is the order in which members in EPMA appear, even if the FlatFile has the right, sort, at the time where that hierarchies are in the table of interface EPMA that the sort order is changed at random.

  I use the file SQL control add IKM in ODI and somewhere on the way I saw a suggestion to add a new option to insert "ORDER BY" in the IKM. I did it successfully and it has changed the sort order, but is not the correct order (the order in which my flatfile has the dimensions).

  I do not understand why Oracle/ODI needs to randomize the lines without being invited to do! Please let me know if anyone has faced this problem before, and if they have managed to solve.

  EPMA interface tables have a SORTORDER column. Make sure that it is filled with numerical values, sequencing of the order that you want your members to appear in the hierarchies of EPMA and when you import tables interface that this order will be respected. Prior to this function being introduction workaround was to create a view that references the tables interface imposing the required ORDER BY clause, but this is not necessary in 11.1.2.1 just use the SORTORDER column
