  Hi all

  I can't open a project PP without this error message that appears:

  "The preset used by one or more sequences in this project requires third-party components that could not find. These sequences will be changed to use a custom sequence implementation. To continue editing using the preset original, exit the application without saving the project, reinstall all third-party components that are needed, and reopen the project'.»

  What I had been doing before that to happen was a PP project using sequences ProRes for editing and editing multicamera. Several cameras didn't work very well and after a few attempts of difficulty that I gave up and finished the work of cutting 3 layers of video instead. SOUL refused to make the finished three lasting more than 1 hr sequences so rendered video sequences PP. finals

  I tried to remove the plists for SOUL, PP and QT repair disk permissions and restarted, but there was no improvement.

  Customer is satisfied for now, but will want to return on this work to a later date so decided to uninstall and reinstall SOUL and PP in the hope that the two would be willing to work properly when needed again. SOUL works very well in conjunction with another PP project, but now I can't open the PP project in question without the above error message appears.

  After searching on the net, it seems that the problem may be caused by ProRes but I could not find a definitive solution to the problem. Does anyone know either:

  1. How do I solve this problem?

  2. If I chose the "modified by using a custom sequence parameter", can I be sure that my footage will look the same, even if they do not use ProRes? The final format of the deliverable will be mp4 so as long as the overall appearance does not change so I can afford a change in the edit codec. It's just that with three sequences of more than an hour long, I don't want working days to be ruined.

  Open the PP. project

  Export your project or the sequence in Final Cut Pro XML form.

  Set up a new project PP.

  Import Final Cut Pro XML file.

  This will take you to the top race.

  Since getting back to this publishing project, I found that some things will be lost or change using XML:

  You will lose the position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, dynamic audio fx, the possibility to open a multi camera clip and change the display of the camera.

  You keep the cut points, crop fx.

  Not perfect but only took a few hours to save 3 working days.

  Ah - you're using CS5, and I was talking about CS5.5. We have badges version on this forum!

  But yes, you have:

  General (CS5) = Settings (CS5.5)

  Desktop (CS5) = Custom (CS5.5)

  Everything else - at least as much as the creation of a sequence - should be the same. Follow the above, by using these translations and that you will be able to put in place a sequence that you need.

  I do this using these functions:

  1 ApplicationManager.OpenSequencFile (filename)

  2. ???

  3 order TestStart = axSequenceFileViewMgr.GetCommand (...)

  TestStart.Execute (true)

  The question now is: How can I know that the OpenSequenceFile has done everything to do?

  I need to know which ended before I run the execute command.

  Is there a final event specail that I can check?

  Well, if you read my previous post, you'll see that you can just say if a writ of execution occurs.

  However, if you need the name of the sequence file then you can use:

  ApplicationManager.Executions (read more about it in the TS help).  Once you have the list, you can check the number (if it's 0, then you know that the SeqFileLoad is complete).  Or you can get items (executions).  From there you can iterate through the elements and do just about anything you want.  For example, there is a method called Execution.GetSequenceFile.  This will allow you to know the name of the file in the sequence.

  For more information on the object of performance, see using TS.  Surely it should get you pointed in the right direction.

  I'm trying to implement a custom user interface that is similar to the examples given by NEITHER. What I miss, however, is the part of the parameters of the step. I can change the parameters of the step of the example with the Edit menu > settings step dialog box, but I would have a section on the window, similar to what you see in the full version. I thought it would be as easy as inserting a component to insert, but it is not... Did anyone have an example of the implementation of this component?

  Hi paicolman,

  At this time the property pane of the step in the sequence editor is built in editor sequence and, therefore, only available in the sequence editor not in the custom operator interface.

  The reason why one in the sequence editor looks different is because it is a more compact design, so it could easily fit into the sequence as a component editor and not another pop-up window. The OI is a pop-up window, so it shouldn't be so small and compact.

  If you want to change the step properties dialog box, you will need to completely build your own dialog box and change the reminder that connects the kind of command. It would be quite difficult to implement, so using the default dialog box is recommended.

  Can I add this possibility to the API ActiveX TS cusstom Editor?

  Or is there another way?

• SEQUENCE HAS DISAPPEARED

  All of a sudden, everything I click in first pro has been ineffective.  Th program has not been frozen just wouldn't do anything when I click.   I tried to save and close, but could not. Had to do a force quit.  When I opened the first time, all the assets of the project were always there, but the sequence was missing.  BTW, it's a sequence that comes from a camera nested multi session

  They are in the media Panel?  Search for them.  If they are there, double click it to open.

  Try also the backups and backup automatically.

• Browse the sequence has stopped working

  I generated WebHelp output files on 19-11-14 (less than 2 weeks ago) in which the navigation sequence works as expected.  When I generated out today, I noticed that the navigation sequence buttons were not displayed.  I use 10 HR with IE 11.  I'm the only person who has access to the RoboHelp project for this project files.

  I checked the WebHelp project settings and noticed that the box "Activate browse sequence" was not checked.  I checked it.  I refreshed the project.  Now, the navigation buttons appear but remain disabled.  I used the sequence editor Browse to regenerate the sequence browse the table of contents.  He has not worked as planned.  Rather than follow the KNOCK sequence, he put all the books first level at the beginning of the navigation sequence, then all second level books and so on.  Anyway, I saved and regenerated the project.  The navigation buttons always appear, but he remained always disabled.  I used the sequence editor Browse regenerated again the sequence of navigation based on the table of contents by using the option to create browse sequences separate for each book to level 5 (just an arbitrary number).  HR, created a bunch of separate browse sequences.  I clicked on OK again and refreshed the project.  I still see disabled navigation buttons, and I tried clicking on multiple subjects in different books to see if all separate browse sequences worked.  The navigation buttons are left disabled.

  I saw HR previous posts on this topic.  I saw the post Julietta Curtis' sequence to browse not working in IE 10 but working in Chrome and Firefox.  I opened in Chrome and Firefox, the latest two versions of the WebHelp I generated; same results as IE 11 - disabled browse buttons.  I opened the WebHelp from 19/11/14 in Chrome and Firefox; the navigation sequence works very well.

  Note: I tried also to regenerate the project using the project. Record of the prior process - including BRS. Files BRS dating back to 10/29/14.

  Any thoughts on how to get the navigation sequence works again?  Thank you!

  I assumed you meant setting up a project pod > Windows > [webhelp window] > properties.  Then I discovered there are two places in the SSL associated with browse sequences.

  There are therefore two actions, you need to take to use a browse sequence.

  1 allow to browse to the output sequences.

  2 specify browse sequence you want to use (you must do this even if you have only currently).

  Where I think you have to do is the second step. You can find it in the SSL under content categories > content. (if you use categories of content, you may have to define for each of them, I guess.)

  

  The word 2013 and RH10, forums indicate that while 2013 is not supported by RH10, by using the right-click > Generate on your print Documentation SSL should allow you to generate the printed output.   I have not seen any decline in Service to the customer. Defective phones would be something in the quality control, if you are looking to blame. The customer service is what exchanged your phone, and since they exchanged their, then it would not be bad service. However, you would need describe "defective" for the replacement of the latter. Given that you were on the phone with Apple, it looks like they may have been going to work on it. Not sure why the call may have abandoned well.

• Help, please! Adobe has taken money from my card, cancelled my subscription and tell me there is no trace of it. It's the flight! How can I solve this? The customer support has done nothing.

  Recently, I was in contact with customers via online portals for updating my billing payment method. What is happening now is that Adobe took the money ($449.99) of my new card, cancelled my subscription and denies that there is no record of this transaction. I contacted customer support several times and asked me to wait a few days to review it and never come back to me. It is not good enough, as far as I'm concerned, it's flight and I need a higher level of support to solve this hurt.
