• Customer profile pages

  I have a site, I am train in which I want customers to be able to set up their own 'profile' for lack of better pages.  Think Facebook or Google Plus (even if this isn't social media) where you sign up and complete your 'profile' with the news page, fill out a 'Gallery' page with pictures, maybe a 'contact' page with contact information, etc..  Anyone else could then view their pages by accessing the link to the page of the client.  Customers should be able to go back and modify their information at any time.

  I would like to set up a folder for each client where all their stuff would be stored.  They should also have to pay for this service, but I'll deal with this aspect as soon as I get the rest work.

  I would obviously (probably?) use web applications and I got the basics, I don't know what is the best way to go about it.  I did find a lot of good tutorials other then basics.  I don't know what to look for at this stage yet.

  I would just make a web application for each page "profile" with a form of unique entry for each page?  How clients go back and edit the information once it is in there?  Is it still possible with BC?

  You're on the right track here basically need to use Web applications.  So you will create a web application called "customer profiles" and set up the fields that you want to capture for each customer profile.  You also enable the front-end Web App for clients can create/edit/update app Articles.  These elements of the app will be the individually of the profiles of the customers you need.

  Anyone can see these profiles while the customer who created their profile to manage accordingly.

  In the code, I want the list of the values yes / no, I come from in the code below.

  If I use the code pasted above, it displays O/N in the front and also update the same thing in the back-end.
  If I can replace the lookup_code sense, it shows, yes/no, and updates backend, with Yes/No.
  
  But, I want to display Yes/No to the user of the screen, while, O/N to be updated in the back-end.
  
  Can anyone suggest on how to do this?

  Hello

  Do not know what is the problem with your SQL query, perhaps the column alias, or perhaps you lack the quotes. Anyway, there are many options of profile in the system show the Yes/No list of values and the Y/N storage (it's what you want). I'd get one of them and would copy the query by changing just the guests. For example, this is the query for profile ' FND: Debug Log enabled ":"

  SQL="SELECT MEANING \"Log Enabled\", LOOKUP_CODE
  into :visible_option_value,
  :profile_option_value
  from fnd_lookups
  where lookup_type = 'YES_NO'"

  If you're referring at the origin of Creative Suite (CS1) then this activation server was closed by Adobe a few years ago.

  The only way to re - install now is to download a new version without activation for CS2 (also applies to CS1 owners).

  . ICM files usually appear on Windows. They are roughly equivalent to the .icc files. So if you get colormunki to create the .icc try changing the .icc .icm and then see if that solves the problem in LR.

  I have a very strange situation in which sometimes the selecting a row in the lov on the default form of the EBS 11.5.10. (set the profile values, responsibility for sysadmin, profiles-> system) is not accepted and the lov suddenly appears again,...
  Specifically, as the responsibility of the application developer, we defined a custom profile (defining a sql query, so that the user-> sysadmin should choose from a custom table to a custom application).
  Subsequently, as sysdamin resp., the user must select a value for the profile in the defined lov and affecting the level of responsibility. (by default in form: profile-> system).
  Sometimes, but unfortunately the circumstances or conditions are not repeatable, that the value of the user wants and concludes when the system does not accept it in the lov... and lov window again... the user selects again and the lov reappears... and again... because the value selected from the lov is not valid... {but it is selected in the lov and there is no problem in the majority of cases...}
  
  Does anyone have any idea... maybe a patch...?

  What is the client OS and browser? Can you reproduce the problem on multiple clients with a different user name?

  You will find all errors in the database/application log files?

  Can you reproduce the problem on a test (cloned) instance? If so, I suggest that you turn on debugging and see if you can produce the question and gather more details.

  You can also turn on debugging on JRE/Jinitiator and see if the errors are recorded (see Note: 549423.1 - how to enable tracing and logging for Sun JRE (plugin Native)).

  We have a problem with the profile option "initialize SQL statement - Custom." We put this at the user level. After awhile, we have erased the value of the this user profile option.

  But you can still see the trace files generated are getting updated. We checked this files trc pathname returned at the bottom of the query.

Any ideas on how to update the profile would be appreciated.  I'm also running Adblock and I tried to remove and reinstall Adblock, without success, the message remains displayed in Safari.

  I'm having a problem where my Custom peripheral output channels is not up-to-date in Veristand.  At first, I thought that perhaps I was not passing simply return all of the channels that I read but I got the Panel of peripheral pront open when it runs so I could see directly the data being transmitted and is all there (see attachments), but once it is written in the FIFO output is not are they displayed in Veristand on indicators of the workspace.

  The only thing I thought is maybe that VeriStand is reading the FIFO faster unit is written result in default values being read.  Ideally Veristand would maintain that the last value read if she meets and empty the FIFO, but since this part of veristand is not available to my knowledge, I have no way to confirm or modify this behavior.

  The problem has been less channels than veristand supposed to write the FIFO output.
