• Cannot move tabs or customize icons

  On the Notifications tab & icons, is there a way to get rid of obsolete icons and programs that collect there? You can access to this through Control Panel or by clicking the link to customize after clicking the arrow display icons hidden in the taskbar. I tried a few CPU temp programs that they are listed still here monitoring. If they cannot be deleted, then any program that is to want a time display in the taskbar will be there forever and list will grow and grow!

  Why is it not these data in a file instead?  No one listened when all these millions of people are complaining about bloating and demanding of periodical Vista reinstall?

  Collaboration doesn't have this feature out of the box, I wish they did, it's a good idea.
  The calendar doesn't send reminders, even after a sync with exchange. The only way I know is created a project and get the email for this scheduled task.

• I use FF 20.0.1. The download icon does not appear on my toolbar, I can activate it by clicking on the empty space, but the icon is invisible.

  I have a NoScript module icon in the corner, which works very well. If I add a GreaseMonkey icon in the menu customize, "Icon and the text" is displayed for this icon as the icon and text browser controls (home, stop, etc.). Other icons the module show icon and the text (S4E, for example). NoScript is the only one I've found so far that collapses down to just an icon.

  I like this leads to the bar having a higher status (add-on). Basically what I want is for only the icon is displayed in the State (toolbar Add on), while keeping icons and text in the browser controls. My current solution is simply to remove the other icons of the add-on - it from the status bar (add-on), but which removes the ease of turning on/off and setting options.

  Please tell me if I can provide you with another thing and thanks for your help.

  I tried, and while it does not remove the text, buttons retain their width, collapses don't not down icons. I was able to get exactly the effect I want to by changing the setting in the DOM, as stated in my post above, but which only lasted as long as the session and returned to the way it was before, when I restarted Firefox.

  After a few tries, I finally joined the userChrome following tweaks. This tweak sets the buttons didn't use any text, be limited to 20 pixels of width, and, if a drop-down list arrow is present, to hide that. Greasemonkey uses a drop-down list item separated so it must be hidden specifically.

• Google icon keeps disappearing in Favorites

  For some strange reason, just my Google icon keeps disappearing under Favorites. I continue to 'add to Favorites', but in a few days, he disappeared. None of my other favorites are endangered.   Shortcuts to sites will initially their own custom icon when you create a shortcut. This icon is called a "favicon.ico" and is stored in the temporary Internet files (TIF) cache, which is where all website files, are stored when you visit them. If the cache is disabled, all custom icons are removed.

  An icon that I've never seen elsewhere appeared today in my notification area. It is typical of the warning icons: a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark in it. Unlike any other area notification icons, there is no ToolTip when I go over it, and nothing happens when I click on it (left or right). I looked on the tab Notification area of the taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box, and under the icons customize Notification area, it shows as .

  How do I know what this icon, it's a problem and how to remove it (if, indeed, it should be removed)?

  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2; Norton Internet Security 17.5.0.127 version and Lavasoft Ad-Aware Plus anti-spyware version 8.1.4 software. I have not recently installed new software.

  I closed my computer and when I restarted it, the icon had disappeared from the notification area.   The only option is either to have all the icons in the sawn system tray which takes 3\4 of my task bar or do them all hidden which is a pain in the neck because I have to open the "new taskbar" every time.

  As you have removed the registry keys, I recommend you to run a system restore to restore the work correctly the settings.

  Note: You must first create a restore point on your computer to do that you must follow the steps below.

  1. open the control panel (all items view).
  (A) click on the system icon.
  (B) proceed to step 3.
  or

  2. open the Start Menu.
  (A) right click on the computer button and click Properties.
  3. click on the System Protection link.
  4. close the system window.
  5. check to make sure you have System Protection turned on for the list available on the disc, that you want to create a restore point, to include in the restore point.
  6. click the Create button
  7. enter a description to point restoration in order to recognize it when you do a system restore and click on the button create.
  8. you will now see this as the restore point is being created.
  9. when the restore point is finished being created, click on the close button.
  10. click on OK.

• Customize the taskbar

  Hi, I have an Alienware m17x with windows 7 64 bit and something happened to customize my taskbar. When I opened the window customize it shows some active icons then I go to the window that I can't turn on my other icons and it won't let me just turn on and is one of those that I can not turn on the volume / small flag / and a couple more and I did a system restore right and it does not work. Can someone please help and thank you

  It is indeed a bug in utility javafxpackager introduced towards the end of the release. It has impact on Mac and Linux
  You can fix it on your copy of the javafxlauncher - edit
  /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/JDK1.7.0_06.JDK/contents/home/bin/javafxpackager
  and
  replace
  classpath="$javafx_home/lib/Ant-JavaFX.jar".
  with the following line

• On machines Pro XP and Win7 Home premium, I throw FF18, Win7 toolbar seems to have been updated in 17, toolbar XP why?

  XP SP3 toolbar keeps the symbol at and back areas, Win7 now has the words instead. Other areas seem to do the same. Both work correctly. Another problem that may be relevant, is that the appearance of my site ISP on XP Home page has not been updated when the ISP has recently done so, Win 7 is up to date. All this stuff looks like XP is stuck in the past for a reason, but works well. He has had problems with XP but not this one.

  You can check the setting of the toolbar in the window customize (icons, text, icons, and text).

  • View > toolbars > customize

  You may need to click Restore default set in the window customize.
