CVI 2009 errors when writing of hidden file

I recompiled a program in CVI2009 that was previously written in 9.0.  After doing so, the program will write is no longer in a text file and the value of the hidden attribute, CVI returns the error 'access denied '.  If I delete the hidden attribute the program works very well.  I forgot to put something or is it a matter of CVI 2009?

I remember having the same problem in versions prior to 2009.

Hidden attribute cache file from the search functions if this is how your code finds the file in text format.

You can use the SetFileAttrs function to display the file temporarily and then you can hide it again, if necessary.

Hope this helps,

Is the drive in FAT32 formatted accidentally? If so, you can only restore up to 4 GB for a single file. Try to make a TIFF sequence instead. Tip of litte - press the LZW compression checkbox in the options for a lossless compression format, this allows you to keep the path file size down.

I had a similar problem where After Effects, Premiere and Sony Vegas could not create QT files on some readers. After a lot of forum search I finally found a solution thanks to a tip from Rob Maybury on CreativeCow.net

It seems that QT will write only to readers with a unique name. My volumes have been implemented as follows (to search in Windows Explorer)

    • Local disc (c :))
    • New Volume (e :))
    • New Volume (g)
    • New Volume (h :))

I could create files in C: and F:, but not in G: and H:. After changing the Volume names so they were all unique:

    • Local disc (c :))
    • Volume (e :)) SSD
    • Master volume (g)
    • New Volume (h :))

I could now create files on any drive.

To change the name of the Volume, right-click on the drive and select "Rename" or display the Properties window and rename here.

  • How to solve the error in writing in the file mcf80.dll

When executing a program, I got this error message: "error in writing to the mcf80.dll file, make sure you have access to this directory". What is the mcf80.dll file, and how I have access to it in order to run my program / Please I need your help so that I'll know what to do in my pc to access the mcf80.dll. My system is Windows 7 bits (32)

    Hello

I'm sorry for the late reply.

I suggest running this program on another system and check whether you get the same error. If you do not get this error then I suggest to scan SFC on your computer and check.

Please follow the steps below to run the SFC scan:

The file system check is a utility built into the operating system that will check for corruption of the file system that the command sfc/scannow. (System File Check) scans integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect, corrupted, modified or damaged versions with correct versions where possible.

    1. click on Start, type command or cmd prompt in the Search box, right click invite, and then click run as administrator.   If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    2. at the command prompt, type the following command and press enter:

    sfc/scannow

Note Do not close the command prompt window until the audit is completed 100%. The results of the analysis will be posted when this process is complete.

Let us know the status of the issue.

  • Set the format digital u32 when writing of TDMS files

We use two meters of a PCI-6251, with two counters in the mode of angular position, to measure the angular positions of the two optical encoders 1000 per second for intervals of 10 to 20 hours.  We are writing to write files using PDM.  The files are very large, about 800 MB, but it is acceptable.  Convert us the TDMS files in .txt files, and then the data from .txt files are analyzed in Mathematica.

My question is: How does one control the digital format of the data that is written in TDMS write?  At this moment we have two counters of the value of the product N = 10000 numbers U32 samples are then transmitted continuously to a TDMS file every 10 seconds.  The counters are using units of ticks (integers) and we would like to see whole in our data files.  We are convinced that the counters are producing U32 to the format number, since we see the correct U32 integers in the indicators on the front panel and we see labels on the value axis on our waveform graphs are integers, not real numbers.

But it is also clear that Scripture TDMS puts double-precision (64-bit) numbers floating point in the PDM file, not numbers of U32.  The double-precision floating-point numbers cause our .txt files to be twice as big as they should be - these .txt files are half full with useless zeros and decimal points.  In addition, when you convert the U32 to double-precision real numbers, it seems to be a loss of precision as a result of writing of PDM, which is not acceptable.

Our experience produces pairs of integers: U32 (or I32) format.  We could even get away with numbers I16.  Is it possible to get our data to stay in U32 (or same I16) format when they are written to the TDMS file?  What controls the digital numbers written to tdms?  Do all the numbers written in a PDM file end up being written as floating-point numbers double-precision?

We use LabVIEW 8.2 on a PC running windows XP.

If associate you TDMS write U32 data, data in the file will be U32. Floating-point conversion probably occurs when you read data from the file back. You can change this by plugging in a U32 empty table at the entrance of 'data type' reading PDM.

You can check the data type in the file by examining the channel properties in the viewer of TDMS files. If NI_DataType is 7, given in the file are U32. If it is 10, data are floating point.

    Hope that helps,

    Herbert

  • Header error when importing large wav file

    Hello guys

I get an error message when I try to import a wav file into Premiere Pro.
When I import a small file I don't have the problem, but when I try to import a file with 10 GB I get the error message: "cannot open the file due to an error header. The file I want to import was performed with the hearing.
I tried the solutions that other people posted in the old discussions, but nothing worked for me.

How can I solve this problem? I'm getting crazy with it.
    Thanks for your time.

I expect more support from the community. It's a shame

OK, for people with the same problem:
The way I fixed this was split the audio of the movie in 3 parts (each part about 3 to 3.5 GB) with first, later I sent each party to the hearing. Then standardized the audio that's what I had to do, recorded every standard file and put it again in the first.

In the end joined the 3 parts first and worked well. I was afraid to do this because of the standardization process, that I wanted to do with hearing. I didn't have 3 parts with different audio levels after normalization. Fortunately worked well

    Kind regards.

  • Error code 1 when writing to text file

I have an error code 1 when I try to write to a text file in my application. Really, I don't understand and don't know how to solve this problem.

If anyone can help me please fix this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Do not close the file in the box 0.  It closes only after your while loop ends.  Keep your refnum file stored in a shift register.

My guess is that you open the file outside the while loop and you pass in the refnum and use it in the box 0.  Then you close the file that kills the refnum.  Then, you open the file again (possibly automatically with read) then close that.  When you get to the enclosure 1, you use the same refnum you originally opened up to the outside, but that was closed and is now invalid.
