  If your data is in a table, the easiest is to use the ArrayToFile function.

  Automatically, it creates a file and puts your data in it depending on the size you provide.

  If you have individual samples you need to write from time to time, you can either collect them in a table and then use ArrayToFile or open a file with fopen and write them as they are acquired with fwrite.

  In the NOR-SCOPE Soft Front Panel, select file-> load reference...  You will get a dialog box to select your file and then what part of the file you want to load.  It will not set up, at least you saved, so when you saved the file.

  When you save a file from the NOR-SCOPE Soft Front Panel to the NOR-HWS format, there is an option to save the configuration, as well.  This will restore the application parameters that were used to take the data.  Similarly, if you save a configuration, you also have the ability to save all the channels of reference can be loaded.

  I have currently a VI that will connect the ports series 2 and use VISA to read data in an IMU and a RC transmitter.  Currently, I use around my loop shift registers to generate an array of all the values that I have read the serial ports.  Then when I finished the loop, I write all the data in a spreadsheet.

  I enclose a smaller version of my program that will not connect to the serial port 1 and includes my attempt of saving data while the program and while the loop in the program is running.  I am also attaching a simple script Matlab to plot the data to check whether the labview VI works, I wrote and the graphic I get from executing a test case using my set up.

  Please look over it and see if you can identify what is the problem.

When a form that has been corrupted by the Preview is opened in Acrobat/Reader, one of the symptoms is exactly what you describe. If you have access to Acrobat and the original form, empty, not corrupted, you can export the form data in a data file (e.g., FDF) and import the shape of FDF data in the blank form.

  The PDF form must be extended drive in order to have this feature to save & print the form data.

  Please confirm by the PDF Creator is the PDF reader or not extended.

  Otherwise, if you have Acrobat installed on your system, you can reader extend PDF form yourself.

  If the iPad still works and is connected to wifi, a backup should automatically happen (if iCloud backups are enabled) if it is connected and the locked screen.
