CVI Legacy Drivers

I'm trying to locate the two pilots of the CVI for some old instruments, namely hp66xxa.fp and hp6xxxa.fp (and associated files) used on an old project CVI 4.01. I found mention of them in a list here, but when I followed the links to the site FTP NOR mentioned he had nothing to use it - have they been moved or deleted? A separate search of the site leads to a discovery of the files hp66xxa.zip and hp6xxxa.zip, I downloaded with impatience to see that they contained LabView drivers.

If someone could tell me where I could find these files, I would be very grateful.

JR

Isn't this good for you?

He is a former CVI driver for hp66xxa Power Supply.

And this one is for hp6xxxa.

Hope this helps

  • CVI Distribution needs 2 versions of CVI device drivers

I have an app that I'm building a distribution, it is in the CVI 9.0.1 and several versions before that.

When I build it, he asks the device drivers of CVI (CVI 9.0.1) of February 2009 and drivers of CVI (CVI 8.5.1) since March 2008.

Is it possible that I can do this using all the stuff from the latest driver disks (the disk of the Feb 2009)?

It is an application that runs on a box of PXI, so there a lot of drivers for that and some map on the (I think)!

    Hi Ken,

The components included from this source "Cache" will find when you go to manage Distribution, click on your distribution and click on modify. Access the driver and Components tab, then go down to each active boxes and on the right pane, you will see a check box in the component Source. Check this and it will always ask you to insert the disc of the first generation, but after that, you won't have to.

    I hope this helps!

  • PCI-GPIB and controller movement legacy Newport Orion-CM - timeout in MAX but not MATLAB

I kinda a weird GPIB problem which seems to be related to the legacy quirks of implementation of GPIB.  The system I use is an Orion of Newport-CM, which has a controller of electrostrictifs actuator in him as a monitor of power on separate GPIB addresses, but a physical port.  I have it connected via a<= 2m="" cable="" to="" an="" ni="" pci-gpib="" board. ="" i've="" tried="" both="" the="" 2.6="" and="" 2.2="" ni-488.2="" drivers="" and="" both="" act="" the="">

I found that when I try to query the device through MAX, I can see a SPY OR that the first FindLstn mark 2 units, but expires (probably to try a * IDN? command, because it signals no response).  After that, if I try other commands via MAX or MATLAB, all the GPIB commands time out, so I have to power cycle the Newport before being receptive again.  I tried every permutation of the GPIB driver located in MAX without result - always the same behavior settings.

Curiously, however, when I use the device only in MATLAB (with the instrument control toolbox), I can have some success, but with delays every now and then are not paralyze the MAX in the same way, it was.  I am able to open the device with:

    mcobj = gpib ('nor', 0, 1);

    fopen (mcobj);

    and query with:

    fprintf(mcobj,'*IDN?');

    data = fscanf (mcobj);

and get the good * IDN? response.

In addition, I can do writing and reads the device (with intermittent downtime... I found I need to leave at least 0.3 seconds between commands, which leads to a slow operation).

It left me speechless.  Of course, it appears the interface GPIB works, maybe slowly, but if I'm not mistaken, the same driver should be usage of communication for MAX and MATLAB, why so MAX time so that I am able to have the operation in MATLAB?  Are there some low level which may be different that I cannot change in MAX or GPIB configuration, but is defined by MATLAB?

Any thoughts appreciated.  Newport is as usual MOM on obsolete parts, and their job is not much help outside retailer orders GPIB (Nothing on the specifications of the bus).

    Thank you

    Scott

Thanks for the tips.  It seems that the old Newport is just really, really slow (must be material and mid-1990 s), so he needs a good break between her send GPIB commands.  I installed the 1.7 legacy drivers, and those at least have correctly the * IDN? the device response.  Gpib MATLAB interface is quite simple you can give sufficient breaks between commands to send to the Newport, so in it, I am able to control the time between orders.

It seems that it is just a matter of a slow device.  I know not what look like the internal FindLstn characteristics and, therefore, why the new version of MAX expires while the old ones do not, but for really old hardware that there could be GPIB read/write in the new pilot who are too fast to actually really old equipment sufficient time to respond.  Thanks again for the input.

  • Generator of CVI 2012 Distribution always asks for disc

I have CVI 2012 and drivers installed on my Windows 7 computer. It is the only version of the CVI and drivers that I have installed on my computer.

However, whenever I try to build a distribution, I wonder to insert the CVI installation disc. It's very annoying. Why is this happening?

Okay, I think I found what I was doing wrong.

Apparently, the option to cache the current installed software is not an option until you have been presented with the need to install from the disc.

(At this point I took no notes, so this may be inaccurate or misinterpreted)

On this Panel you ask something like "you have the installation discs. If you say no, they ask where to install from. Here, I have indicated to the DVD disc with the installation disc and on this Panel was the cache option. (At least this is how I remember it.)

What was confusing, it was that I had selected cache on the drivers... Tab that I wasn't expecting to have the option or need to do later.

  • Pavilion G4 IDT pilot Audio XP32

    Driver XP32 needed for:

    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_111D & DEV_7605 & SUBSYS_103C1666

I tried 9 different SoftPAQs (intresting they always call em SoftPAQs, it's a return to the old days Compaq) all labelled "IDT High Definition Audio Codec". Unfortunately, they do not give a complete list of this that devices are supported and that I must download and check the DEV_ID and SUBSYS in INF files manually.

Apparently its IDT was acquired by semiconductor Tempo, and they do not serve pilots to the public. Anyone know of a way to search for the driver of HP by DEV_ID database? Or can someone point me to the correct driver?

    TIA.

    EDIT:

New driver versions are STWRT. (CAT, sys, inf) - I think that these Win7 32/64 and following. I think that I need the old STHDA. (CAT, sys, inf) drivers for XP32 compliance.

    TLDR;

    Success!

Use the Realtek drivers (I used v2.74):

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=14&PFID=24&level=4&Conn=3&DownT...

I tried to work with the drivers released by other sellers (Lenovo, Dell, Gateway, Conexant, ASUS, etc) with INFs which seems to confirm my hardware ID and editing of the INFs drivers similar to the same 92HD7x - series 92HD8x. almost 12hrs and 1 GB worth of sound drivers later, it became clear to me that the vendor released drivers can supports custom audio extensions or have some sort of lock commands. SN because I kept getting ERR10 'Device was able to start' or ERR31 'a device attached to the system does not work.

Undaunted by my growing frustration, I pulled information disable the audio chip and started Googling. Surprisingly - although in retrospect I shouldn't been probably - its actually a very common IC manufactured by Realtek, which is twisted and renamed by a host of other vendors, IDT, being one of them. Unlike HP or IDT, Realtek is used legacy drivers to the public, of course with all vendor-specific extensions disabled.

I downloaded and installed the drivers - no INF or MS - UAA tweaking necessary - and it works correctly. See below for a list of the hardware ID (we hope) supported:

  • OR DAQPad 6020e in labview 8.5

I have several Pad DAQ 6020e of from a University program. I have them work on a system of Labview 7, but when I upgraded to 8.5 they are not recognized.

I installed the traditional legacy drivers and I can perform to the MAX test panel and that it can work. How can I go to MAX for their use in a vi. ?

    Hey Brjasc,

Hardware drivers DAQ traditional default go only to install in one version of LabVIEW, so it is possible that you do not see the traditional DAQ hardware drivers in version 8.5.  To see what version of LabVIEW installed on the traditional hardware drivers DAQ, go to C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW x.x\vi.lib and see if there is a folder named "Daq".  My guess is that the data file is installed for LabVIEW 7, but not in LabVIEW 8.5.  Once find you what version of LabVIEW, this folder does not appear in, open this version, see the block diagram and then do a right click to view the range of functions. Go to IO measures and traditional DAQ then.  To install traditional DAQ in several versions of LabVIEW, visit ni.com and search for traditional DAQ Palette does not appear after the LabVIEW upgrade.

  • VI Initialize with OptionsString missing the resource name field when creating the IVI Driver Generator LabView 8.6

    Hello world

We have just uploaded the latest LabView version 8.6 and there is a nice tool called generator of LabView LabWindows CVI Instruments drivers. Our driver of the instrument is an IVI driver that has a LabWindows CVI interface that uses the generation of LabView tool to create all the VI that could be used to talk to the underlying driver IVI hollow discovery of .fp, .sub and .h files. No mistake and screws more than 30 are generated automatically.

There is an inconsistency in the Initialize function IVI driver. There is a VI Initialize driver without an input of OptionString parameter and there is a second VI with the OptionString parameter.

Two of these screws should have a required entry field that is the ResourceName of the instrument, but this field is visible in the initialization of VI that has no OptionString input parameter and is not at all visible in other VI initialize that has an OptionString input parameter

No idea why the second version of Initialize does not display the ResourceName parameter?

    Thank you

    Sorin

    Hey Sorin and Heather,

I've just built your IVI driver and can see the question you come through.  What version of LabVIEW and the tool are you using?  I am looking into this further for trying to dig your problem a little more.   If you add the connector to the connector pane, the created VI meets the needs that the name of the resource exists, it's just not in the connector pane.  This can do a right-click on the icon in the upper right of the front panel and selecting display connector.  Select where on the VI wish you add the connector, and then select the name of the resource.

  • Update NVIDIA 275.33 defective; corrupted video driver display with driver WHQL

The message below was copied and pasted under nvidia Forum Legacy drivers.  Necessary information can be found in the copied message.

Because it seems to be no activity on this site regarding this post, I thought that it is better to publish below.

The reasoning is that the pilot was clearly corrupt. is available at FileHippo.com and other sites and is supposed to be a Microsoft WHQL certified file.  In my view, that this may not be true in this case, as will demonstrate it the message pasted below.

PASTED the MESSAGE FROM THE FORUMS, LEGACY nvidia DRIVERS:

Under XP Home SP3 with GeForce 6200 256 MB PCI card. Also running avast! Version of COMODO Internet Security 6.0, 5.4.189822.1355, Sandbox disabled at time of installation in the admin.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I was warned by the Update Manager in the current version of the 6.14.12.7061 driver that a newer version of GeForce was available June 2, 2011 version 275.33 by download. Check the properties of file after download, I noticed that had no Digital Signatures tab. Avast! scanned and said the file was clean. COMODO, however, cast alerts on Digital Signatures missing, so I chose to ignore without remembering, and as far as I could tell, the installation was completed successfully.

Because this file was not Digital Signatures that are normally found on the files distributed by reputable companies, I took care to the image of my system first. I just checked a few minutes ago, and the same file downloaded earlier is the same exact file I got on June 2, with the exception, it has been downloaded FileHippo.com. The first file was downloaded from nvidia.com, also a 32-bit XP file.

A reboot is required, system restarted after installation on June 2, and I noticed immediately the logon screen has not been defined as before. Check display system properties after logon gave the following information: the screen resolution is only 640 x 320, (not sure) and the bit of color was only 4-bit color. No matter what I was doing, I couldn't reset the resolution or color for the settings I had before 1280 x 1024 or 32-bit color.

I also had a close dialogue of M$ box that appears repeatedly, stating that COM updated necessary to close, and whenever this happened, I chose not to send the news of the accident.

NVIDIA abreast of this file is probably be corrupted? I've never had this problem before. NVIDIA is no indication that the card that I run is supported.

Why do Digital Signatures missing properties file? It is indicated as a M$ certified WHQL file as well.

As it is, I'm now getting alright ATM, as I've restored the image to return to where I was before the installation.

The new Manager to update my current version of the driver have been corrupted or redirected?

    ???

    Joe, aka mchain

As I said above, never had this problem before with this OS.  Win98SE was a different story, so he backup before installing a new driver was always careful.

I find this problem to be a little weird at best.

Any help or information would be appreciated.

    Joe

    Umesh P,.

Final installation of the new driver file, nvidia 275.33.  Installation was successful.

It turns out that the first available driver file has been altered, because it lacked the Digital Signatures tab, but a more recent file turned up at nvidia, only an hour or two later.

This one said certified June 2, 2011, 03:17, on the Digital Signatures tab and the file listed as OK.

a mistake has been made, and nvidia has released the file without Digital Signatures on the first version, he little time (two to three hours later) corrected with the correct file.

First file has been deployed on June 1.  Digital Signature time unknown.

Time line fits, so it was probably a goof on the part of anyone.

Thanks for getting back to me.  Busy here, I'm sure you're here.

BTW, Device Manager cannot see the compressed file (a good known) to proceed with the driver installation.  I installed by choosing "open" and open the file and ran. "

    Fixed a problem.

My hard drive crashed, so I had to reinstall Windows XP. My sound no longer works, and I've tried everything... followed all instructions and advice from support and still NOTHING. My devices does not even appear in sounds and Audio devices... all grey so I can't make adjustments. In Legacy drivers, it is completely empty... I can't not try hard. Help, please!

  • Problem with getting Vista to read my Morphvox mic

I installed morphox on Vista (that is to say, a voice change / morphing software).  My computer sees the Morphox microphone as an option, but when I try to ring Skype etc it is clear that the computer is not grateful that the microphone is.  I elimanated the obvious possibilities.  This has everyone puzzled. Any ideas?

    Hi bubblegum123,

Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

Showed the microphone in the recording in Panel tab > sounds?

Have you checked the settings in the preferences of Morphvox?

Have you tried this microphone on another computer?

I first recommend you install the latest drivers for the soundcard of the manufacturer of the sound card.

Note: Uninstall the previous driver first and then install the most recent driver that you have downloaded

    Try to configure the microphone

    1. right click on the speaker icon in the bottom-right of your screen and choose recording devices.

    2. click on Microphone in the window and then click Configure.

    3. click on configure the microphone in the next window and follow the wizard to configure the device.

Try to manually configure the microphone and the speakers used by MorphVOX.

    In Preferences > device settings

Microphone: This menu lists all the drivers of entry of valid microphone on your computer.  Choose the device that is attached to the microphone you will use to feed MorphVOX.

Reading: It is a list of the devices used to read audio data.  Choose the one you want to MorphVOX to use for echo/listening and auditioning the sound effects.  Usually, this should be left as "Primary Sound Driver".

Playback volume: allows you to access the reading of Windows volume control.

Use Legacy Drivers: Use an older way of capturing and playing audio. This should be used if you have problems audio glitching, or you don't use echo.

The microphone volume: allows you to access the microphone/recording of Windows volume control.

    Hope the above information helps.

Try to configure the microphone using the Windows speech recognition and check if it works it

    1. make sure the microphone and speakers are well connected to your computer.

    2. Open Options speech recognition by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, on ease of access, and then clicking Speech Recognition Options.

    3. click on Configure microphone.

    4. follow the directions in the wizard.

    I hope this helps.

  • Card support FireWire on Inspiron 660

I bought your desktop Inspiron 660 with Win 8 (original version, I think) a year or two ago.  Eventually want to use devices USB Audio (sampler Edirol UA-25, helmet DAC etc.) which are not supported by base 8 Win, the cheapest solution was to upgrade to a new version of Win 7 (I got a Dell version) with a new HDD in the desktop.   This arrangement works very well with all my USB audio devices.

Then, I want to run an audio interface box 4-Channel M-Audio Firewire and Firewire PCI express card to receive from eBay.  It's a 1394, unbranded with chip WB381.  It appears in Device Manager - no reported problems. However the menu sounds in the Panel sees as an available playback or recording device, and the M-Audio box reports also no link.  I tried all three drivers available in Windows 7 for the card, as suggested elsewhere, without success.  M-audio box works OK with Win XP on another computer with a Firewire port that is provided by an OEM, but I don't have any other PC with ports PCI express to test the card...

This is likely to be a problem of Dell software or a hardware/driver PCI problem.  Maybe I should get a card with a different chipset.  I note, there is a lot of posts related to problems with Firewire and Dell computers.  Are there tests I can run to determine what is happening.

    Thanks in advance

    John

Windows 8 and 8.1 firewire drivers are laminated.

The only way to solve this problem is to use a card with Texas Instruments Chipset and copy the LEGACY drivers from a windows machine 7.

Below are those with chips from Texas Instruments

MASSCOOL 3 Firewire 1394 ports has 6-pin PCI Express card model PCE-F201 Newegg link link manufacturer Chipset: TI XIO2200A

SIIG two port FireWire 400 PCI Express x 1 model NN-E20112-S2 Newegg link link manufacturer card Chipset: Texas Instruments

SYBA PCI - Express 1394 FireWire model SD-PEX-FWB Newegg link link manufacturer Chipset card: TI TSB82AA2

  • Service Control Manager 7026 of error during the connection.

I'm running win7 professional.  The following message comes from event viewer.

The next (s) starting or starting system could not load:

    ovanvq

    qhpbzs

When I search on the internet, none of these are at all, and even less as drivers.  However, I am looking for the regestry system and both are listed in HKEY_Local_Machine\System\ControlSet001\ENUM\Root\Legacy_ovanvq (and Legacy_qhpbvs).  There are about 80 other (supposed Legacy drivers in this same place)

For some reason any only these two "no drivers" are the only ones to appear in the log whenever the system is booted.  I've been debating just to remove those two from the registry, but would not take the risk of making the wrong move.

I need advice because something must be introduce to the charge of attempt to these two phony drivers.

I recommend that you run Disk Cleanup or cCleaner to remove temporary files as this will reduce the time to scan security software.

Start the computer in safe mode with network and download and install Malwarebytes (free version for individuals only), updated definitions and run in safe mode. Disable other security software while you do the analyses.

-The 'legacy' drivers are not technically a restore because there was
never a movement forward to Win7.
They are only a newer version and probably the last, the pilot who was provided for
Some older cards on older (legacy) systems.

  • Windows 8 incorrectly states printer and self-installing wrong driver. How can I force to load a driver?

I try to activate a new laptop print wirelessly on an existing network with a wireless router and print server (Hawking HMPS1U).  Windows sees the printer and add it, but he thinks it's a HP 5if MX and it is not.  It will automatically start a driver that does not work and resists attempts via device printer and Manager of properties to change the driver (see pilot in advanced settings but can't change - has tried to change as administrator, also without success).  I have a driver, but the installation program can't see the printer on the wireless network.

In any case, I hope the system works if I can get Windows to accept the driver I know is correct.  However, the program will not allow this.  Is there a way to accept the driver and ignore its errors of identification of my printer?

When using the windows printer Add Wizard not to automatically install the driver, when it gives you a list of drivers, click the button update windows automactically update the list of drivers. Then select HP LaserJet 5 or LaserJet 5 M PS driver appropriate.

Support to win 8 sucking legacy drivers.

Also you can download and use HP Universal Drivers: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=503519&locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=503548

    Hope that helps!
