  In the digitization, if you have the disc that came with the printer, and then insert the floppy disk to the printer and keep it from running. Go to my computer and double-click it. Locate the drive that contains the disk Dell inside. Right-click on it, left click Explore. Find the folder of the OCR. In the OCR folder, there is a folder of Abbyy. Right click on setup.exe, which is located in the folder Abbyy and left, click Run as administrator. This will install the OCR program.

  All in one, type printers (print, copy, scan) usually have a very specific set of instructions during the installation.  If not followed exactly the probability is that the scanner will not work.

  How can I copy and print a 2-sided document on a single page?  In the copy dialog box I select 2-sided copy but only one side of the document prints.  The duplex unit is installed.

  The 8610 Pro Officejet can't stand not automatically copy the back of scanned documents, the scanner in this model does not support the two faces of scanning.  Copy for the 8610 options include the following:

  • 1 original ratings for 1 copy face
  • 1 original 2 copy face sides [a pile of a front loaded in the ADF file originals will print 2 copies faces.]

  The 8620 Pro Officejet and 8630 support scanning or copy automatically two sides of a document, options copy for the Officejet Pro 8620 include the following:

  • 1 original ratings for 1 copy face
  • 1 original copy side 2 side
  • 2 original faces to 1 copy face
  • 2 original faces 2-sided copy

  I scanned a document in our HP Photosmart 7520 mac computer.  Now cannot get the printer to print documents, the same Mac.  They are connected through a router to Qwest: the printer was printing fine, before I used the scan.  function.  My husband printed his iPad on the 7520 using only the wireless network... but the printer does not print not the Mac.  I turned off both printer and mac and then rebooted... no change.  Everything I can find on the system, the printer, etc., seems fine.  A lot of ink.  Wireless enabled.  What's wrong?  Thank you

  I understand that you have a Photosmart 7520 that isn't the impression of your Mac at the moment. I'm sorry to hear that, but I will certainly do my best to help you!

  You get errors when you try to print or just nothing happens?

  I suggest to try the new power cycle, but this time, once the printer and computer are turned off unplug your router for 30 seconds. As soon as the router is back to normal turn the printer and the Mac and try printing again.

  If it still does not come back just to me any other relevant details (like the Mac version you are using) and I'll see what I can find for you

  Sorry, but this is false. Jetta48 is correct. Press PrtScrn copy screen entires. You must press Alt-PrtScrn to get the active window.

  Last problem with the L7580: this machine will scan but not print or copy.  All four color cartridges are good, remaining.  He machine is not used as often as it should be, but copied and printed a few weeks ago.  Any suggestions?  Thanks for any help.

• PSC 1210 all-in-one: hp psc 1210 order copy but scan and print

  Until recently the copied PSC 1210, scanned and printed.  It copies is no longer in black & white, or rather when I press the copy button, the scanning starts and the printer prints a blank page.  Without moving anything, I can scan the document (Windows Fax and Scan) and print it using the same PSC 1210 and it prints perfectly.  A color copy prints a few characters in blue/green.  No recent change in hardware or software (other than the Microsoft updates).

Copying and scanning use the same hardware components so ideally if we work so should the other. Copy and print using the same ink system so if you can print, you should be able to copy; However, the impression of the computer may produce a composite black, which means that the colors combine to make black, when copying the printer can pull out the black cartridge to produce black.   Looks like there is a hardware problem as you mentioned in the post.  However, there is a step that I recommend to try.  This step is to perform a factory reset the printer to ensure that it is not a problem in the internal software of the printer.  I have these steps and they will send you a private message.  Before performing these steps please read thread of Bob_Headrick on printer resets found here.

  However, the center of Solution software you used with the previous units is more used to the 8600. The software installed for the 8600 should have placed an icon that resembles the printer with the name of the printer it labeling on your desktop. This icon opens the wizard of HP printer with options to control the printer.

  Hi, I have HP photosmart 5510, TRIOUX, scanning, web copy.    When I specify printing, sometimes it works, other times, the computer says it cannot connect to the printer.  The printer could not connect to the computer to scan a page to the computer.

  Sometimes after a long period of time the dormant printer will activate and print the room - it seems as if something was trying to connect to a specific time.  Can anyone help please.

  Since I upgraded my computer to Windows 10, I'm unable to use my scan on my HP Officejet 6700 Premium function.  I can't even open the scan dialog box to look at the options etc.  I tried to find 'Scanner and printer' in painting, but it does not recognize.  Any suggestions?  I already deleted the printer and re-installed.  It was working fine before on Windows 8.
