daq device boot nor is not ready

I worked with a PXI system for a long time that had a LabVIEW program in the startup folder, while running at startup.  The program used the Daq hardware to OR, and we found that he had to add a delay to the boot sequence to allow the material NOR be fully initialized before it started the program LabVIEW or the program would throw errors.

A similar thread is at

http://forums.NI.com/NI/board/message?board.ID=232&message.ID=6373&query.ID=1481785#M6373

My current problem is with a LV 8.6.1 program on Windows XP.  I use a DAQ USB6212 material.  I find that I have to allow a full 60 seconds after startup before launching the program to ensure that the work of data acquisition.  If I use a 40 second delay, it works most of the time, but not always.

I would have guessed it would be a fairly common problem.  Does anyone found a reasonable solution to this problem?  As noted in the link above, I prefer not to use arbitrary expectations.  I'd rather have a way for the operating system to start my program after that everything is ready.  But reasonable alternative will be something like the user in the other thread developed in C++: a loop that tries to access the material and keep looping until the material becomes available.  I do not think that a single Daq set call channels will work, however, because once the error occurs (in my case), restart my program is of no use.  I have to unplug the DAQ hardware and plug it in again, or restart the computer so that I can make it work.  So I need some sound more sweet, such as the type of "find resources" appeal, he has proposed.

Kind regards

DaveT

Hi Dave,.

Just a quick suggestion. I have not tested, but you might be able to do something like that at the beginning of your code:

This loop until there is no error since the VI DAQmx device Self and then you can spend the rest of your code. Yet once again, I have not tested this in an executable to start, but I think it should work. Let me know if it helps. Thank you!

    ·         Did you of recent changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Check that all connectors (power and IDE) should be firmly fixed. Disconnect and reconnect to check.

Method 2: As short-term solution, try to shut down the system, turn the power off, turn on the power and restart. If the device still does not work then it is probably a problem of material, the device or card/main controller card (or possibly the cable connection) will need to be replaced. If the device seems to work then this indicates a problem of software or firmware. Do not forget that the problem can recur again unless the root causes addressed.

Method 3: Update the latest version of the device driver (if there is one).
Check on the Web site of the vendor for a newer driver and if it is available then load it.

  • (Not ready) TosBtMng.exe during closing. Bluetooth cannot connect devices

I noticed that my bluetooth stopped working recently. I can't connect or find near devices.
I can not open bluetooth settings or any application bluetooth came with my laptop. I have a bluetooth module and everything built in.
It was then that I noticed that whenever I tried to stop my laptop, one 'not answer' or 'not ready' message kept popping up to TosBtMng.exe.

I tried to uninstall my previous bluetooth batteries and reinstalled the latest, but the same problem keeps occurring.
TosBtMng.exe installation rail smoothly however, continues to be unresponsive.

I read several posts on this forum about it, but I've not seen a solution. Maybe I missed something? If anyone knows of one, could you please direct me to this solution? Thank you!

At first, I have to say that it will be interesting to know what Toshiba laptop you have and what operating system you are using. I assume you are using Windows XP Home edition. am I right about that?

I use BT on my WXP preinstalled Satellite M70 nearly two years now and everything is working fine. If you can't get this to work using BT more recent battery maybe you need to reinstall your laptop using recovery media delivered.

  • Virtual Disk Manager "the device is not ready".

I don't know about the format from outside, possibly MAC OS EXTENDED. He was not ejected a Mac and will not mount on an operating system MAC or PC (Windows 7 Professional) using Firewire (800 to 800 and 800 to 400), eSATA and USB 2.0. When I use disk management, disk will appear as not initialized and next to the "disk 33", there is a red arrow pointing down. Whenever I open the Disk Manager, the window to initialize the disk appears, but once I chose a style of partition and press OK, the virtual disk manager pops up saying "the device is not ready". I also tried to wipe the drive using CMD, (disc of DiskPart/list / select disk 33/clean), CMD said the drive was clean, but when I went to disk management, without change.

    Hi Catherine,

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/Windows/en-us/7e214b16-E415-449a-8f25-4cace51e5106/Virtual-Disk-Manager-error

    Good day!

  • Error "the device is not ready" to the Windows command prompt when you access a key USB from VMware

The host and guest are running Win 7.  Version of VMware is 11.1.3.

The guest computer, Windows Explorer displays the USB and I can open its files, etc.

However, when I use the Windows command prompt to access the USB of the client, I get error "the device is not ready".

In order to get the guest system memory image, the application must be run from the USB as an administrator.

    Help, please!  Thank you!!

I already found the answer.  Win 7 had not installed USB 3.0 controllers.  I downloaded several executables from Intel and Lenovo sites, but they does not work because the system only has not meet the specifications, etc..  Then I discovered that a USB 2.0 stick had any problems.  So, I use 2.0 for this virtual machine.  Thank you!

  • Error when trying to create a collection of Solr (java.io.IOException: the device is not ready)

    Hello, everyone.

I am trying to create a .cfm document which delete and then re-create a specific collection of Solr, index and optimize it.

    The removal works perfectly.

Unfortunately, creation it doesn't, at all.  I get the following message:

Cannot create the collection publicsearch - an error occurred during the creation of the collection: java.io.IOException: the device is not ready.

This is a server of Windows 7 under Apache and CFServer 9.0.1 (the version before Verity was cut).  I get no more detail than an error message.  Any idea what could be the cause?  I googled this and I see a lot of similar questions, but not quite what I have going on.

    Thank you

    ^_^

So much worse... someone didn't bother to inform the proponent that the access to the collection AND the path to the directory that contains the collection for are different on this other server.

    Fixed.

  • Different value of USB DAQ device on different computers?

    Hello

I have not found an answer to this one, so I open a new question. Here's the problem:

I have a card OR USB 6003 and I read some analog signal of a sensor with a framerate of 1000 Hz (I use actually 4 analog inputs for 4 sensors). I created a VI and everything works fine on my computer. Then, I created a standalone application (.exe) and the installer that includes the drivers for the hardware DAQ and LabView Runtime Environment. When I install everything on computer target, the program works, but the sensor readings are weird! For example: I get a reading of 1 bar with a deviation of 0.02 bar on my original computer. When I plug the device on the host computer, I get an average reading of 1 bar with a gap of 0.5 bar, which is a lot! This gap could be considered some disturbances high frequency - like noise. What could be the problem? Is this even linked with LabView or is it hardware problem?

    OS information:

    Win 7, 64-bit (my computer)

    Win 7 32-bit (host)

    News of LabView:

    LabVIew 2013, version 13.0f2 (32 bit)

    OR MAX version 14.0.0f0

    Setup includes:

NI LabView Run - Time Engine 2013 f2

    NOR-DAQmx run 14.0

Thanks in advance on this one!

    Best regards

    Geraldine

If you run the Test NI MAX Panel on each computer, you get the same result? Way that you specify which device to use in your code (for example MAX tasks? Project tasks? DAQmx configuration screw?) and the devices have the same configuration? Are you using the exact same device USB 6003 or use a different one on each PC?

A computer is a desktop computer and another laptop? Economic DAQ devices are not isolated, so you could get the sound of your PC power.

  • Firefox beta 35. not ready for prime time.

I spent all weekend trying to get the beta version of Firefox 35 to work. What I found is that * extensions of all it does not work with the exception of the maintenance of the premises. I can't download any extension that Firefox is so famous. The error is something like "unable to install"plugin-name"in its current state." Activation of any extension requires a FF reboot, same places maintenance. Try to remove an extension fails and must be done manually.

I'm on Windows 7 Premium desktop Firefox 32 bits. I've 'committed' myself to 35 FF last night (which means history and cache out of settling because did not work it extension "expire history by days'), when I found out that 35 played well with some sites using Flash. It was a capricious thing. Many sites worked as usual, but some would not. Examples:
    http://www.Wunderground.com/us/Wi/La_Crosse.html

    http://www.weather.com/weather/5day/l/Hustler+Wi+54637:4:us

First time I have had a problem with a version beta of Firefox, but it's definitely not ready for prime time. I realize FF tries to get away from what we call 'Exclusive Modules' but 35 FF in its current state just fill in Support of Moz forums with millions of complaints (guess I'm one of the first). I now have 1 extension (the only one that works on 35), the above mentioned "Site Maintenance".

I thought you might like this report as 'user input '. God knows I've tried... I have downloaded 35 at least a dozen times and then was forced to 34.0.5. So I'm back on 34.0.5

I presented a report bug here:
    https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1108196

I would like to know if anyone else is having these problems or anyone needs more information. I'd love to help solve this problem. I know that some of you good support people have probably tried to 35. You experience the same difficulties?

Here is my (34.0.5 but it's the same as I had about 35 last night, with the exception of 'Version') troubleshooting information less 1 million admissions for my printer:

Good news, friends... and thanks for holding my hand during all this time. I mainly need to know if my problems were me. global or all just... and perhaps others with some configurations.

I am now on 35.0b2 (not sure how that happened). Anyway, I downloaded beta, that is, reset Firefox, added my cookies.sqlite and permissions.sqlite, has spent half an hour in the 'options', and then checked things and seems to be back in the game!

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Bluetooth is not ready on Satellite P750

I'm trying to combine a Bluetooth device on my p750 satellite and when I press on "new connection" in the Bluetooth settings I get a message "Bluetooth is not ready."
I've activated Bluetooth with FN F8. In the Bluetooth wizard options, the Bluetooth is enabled.

I see not a physical switch anywhere, which allows to disable the Bluetooth...

    Any advice?

Toshiba computers laptops don t have physical switch to BT BT can be activated only with FN + F8.
When you turn on BT for the first time the BT driver will be installed and all components of BT appears in Device Manager. Usually software stack Toshiba BT will start and taskbar (notification icons) you will see BT small symbol.

Please check this box. If this symbol appears in red, then BT s device not ready for its use, but if the symbol is blue that you should be able to use the BT connection.

I can't say for sure, but I guess you didn't activate BT correctly. Please try again.

  • Peripheral Bluetooth is not ready!

I have a Qosmio G10 and have had this ongoing problem with the installation of bluetooth devices. Whenever I open Bluetooth and go to connect a device, it says "bluetooth is not ready." Help? Someone, please.

    Hello MB

First of all, check if the Bluetooth module is installed on your device. If Yes, in the lower corner of your laptop, there must be Bluetooth label.
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/FAQ.jsp?z=96&service=EU&FID=tro000000189d

If there is no label your device doesn't have Bluetooth, and it is a reason for this message that occurs.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L850 "Bluetooth is not ready."

Everytime I try to press "Add new connection" in the BT settings, I get the message saying that "Bluetooth is not ready." Not sure if that makes a difference, but the laptop has recently been repaired and I think that the motherboard and processor have been changed in the process.

    Someone knows how to solve?

    First question:
If the laptop has been repaired, you still have the same parts inside the laptop?
Maybe the WLan module has been changed that supported Bluetooth?
    Is the laptop supports Bluetooth?

It should be noted all first!

You can also see the list of Device Manager if BT is in the list.

By the way: what system are you using and what L850-xxx you have exactly?

  • Qosmio X 500-Bluetooth is not ready

    Hello.

I have a Qosmio X 500 64 bit with the latest Toshiba bluetooth stackpack Im having to reinstall again and again to get my BT of intellipoint mouse to work. A restart worked once but that stopped after a while. It seems to work great for the few hours that bam! Seeing red on the icon and "bluetooth is not ready" after a game session. The HID mouse is recognized as a device.

What happens when I play games with a usb joystick and then come back to use the mouse and the bluetooth device icon went red with "bluetooth is not ready" when trying to reconnect. It happened again when normal so not a problem of navigation stick? I tried a lot of different parameters, thinking that this is a problem of network or power managemnet. I'm currently using my orginal BT usb dongle but prefer my built-in. Thanks for any help.

I think that you when you say that you want to use BT books but I have very good experiences with mouse BT used with original dongle BT. No matter what goals you use the mouse, the connection will never be interrupted or disconnected.

I don't know what the problem is here, but something I did not understand everything: you have this problem while game only or usual activities too?

  • Bluetoothis is not ready - Qosmio F750

    Hi all

I only notice this problem recently with my Toshiba Qosmio laptop, in the past I was able to connect to my bluetooth very well (I use it to connect the controllers like a Wii remote). I left it for about a month or two without using it and the other day I went to use and got the error code "Bluetooth is not ready."

I tried a lot of troubleshooting methods found on this site but I seem to be having much luck restore my bluetooth, so I thought that I ask here before I wreck something on my laptop.

    I have a:
    PC laptop Toshiba Qosmio F750

    processor Intel® Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz

I have windows 7 and which was already installed on the computer when I bought it under a year previously. I also have an Atheros AR5B195 Bluetooth device, or so it is said in my laptop on a label. Here are some screenshots of my question, the first screen shot in a compilation of photos:

I tried to reinstall the bluetooth stack and the filters one or twice (not sure if they were good) I also tried a Microsft Quickfix, which ends up being not not compatiable with my system. Whenever I tried a new method I backed up my computer with a restore point system and if the method failed I reloaded my system restore to be if all point right back to square one.

I would appreciate all help and if I need details more information please let me know. Thanks for your time.

    Hello

Just at the beginning, I would like to know if you have enabled the BT ON using the FN + F8 key.

I see the message: bluetooth is not ready
So I guess it has not been selected by FN + F8
