DAQmx PDM, add the external value to the log file

Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to permanently add an external double value to the TDMS file that is created by the DAQmx Configure logging (PDM) VI?

Thus, for example, I collect double data of 8 channels, DAQmx, speed of 1 Hz (analog double, 1 d). I'll get these 8 values with corresponding time stamps in the TDMS file created. Is there a way to "tunnel" a double value external to the same TDMS file?

If there is no such option, I will configure just the TDMS logging explicitly not through the DAQmx driver.

Thank you!

with any possibility of foor loop iteration time zero will give you a default value of reference if your reference will not be valid in this case.

    Concerning

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

  • When OMF add the data file in the tablespace

    Hi friends,

We use oracle 11.2 with CMS (oracle managed file) for the database on the linux platform. the parameter - DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST had been set. at the present time, we received a message from global warming this tablespace criterion is 85% full.

According to the document of the oracle, OMF auto will add a data file in the tablespace tast. more than a week, I do not see any data file has been added by OMF.

I want to know when OMF adds the data file in the tablespace? 85% or 95% or some (parameter) setting this action?

    Thank you

    newdba

OMF does not automatically add a new data file.  You must explicitly add a new data file with the ALTER TABLESPACE ADD DATAFILE command tbsname.

What is OMF is to provide a Unique name and a default size (100 MB) for the data file.  That is why the ALTER TABLESPACE... Command ADD DATAFILE that you run didn't need to specify the file size or file name.

  • Not able to add the snapshot file to the virtual machine

We have Win 2003 virtual machine running on ESXi 4.0.0 261974. The virtual machine has two vmdk files. We had taken the snapshot a few days back and today by mistake, we have removed one of the vmdk (DB - srv - 000001.vmdk - snapshot file). Now, we are not able to add the snapshot file to the virtual machine. When tried to add the existing vmdk, it displays only the source disk (DB - srv.vmdk). Please, help us to solve this problem.

The GUI allows only adding the base vmdk. To add the Flash disk, you must manually change the vmx file. Registrations for the formerly removed virtual disk could still exist in the vmx file with... .present = "FALSE". After changing the vmx file you must reload the configuration. To do this, remove the VM of the inventory and add it back again (right-click on the vmx file).

My confusion here is why the mechanisim of (DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST) is him even while the same with both of them becomes differ when you set
    'DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n '?

DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST is used if DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n is not defined.

Db_recovery_file_dest is used to multiplex logs files.
For example, if Oracle uses DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST (because DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n is not defined), it multiplexes the logfile to DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST if DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST is also defined.
If, however, DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_1 is used, Oracle wait allows you to set the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_2 as well for the multiplexing of the file journal; Otherwise, it assumes that you do not want the multiplexed log file. The fact that the parameter ends with an n means that Oracle uses the n = 2 f or the multiplex if defined location.

    Hi Steve,.

There are some errors in your code.

    1. function 'getmyDoc' is used, but not created.
    2. fucntion 'getScriptPath' is created but not used. (In any case, this will not give you error)

    Hello

Even if you add standby or online redo log files or even if you resize down and re-create redo log files, they will not be created on the standby database. It is instance specific.

Let all the restore, the MRP will cancel out.
And then let fall, add standby redo log files, I think that you need to the MANUAL upgrade standby_file_management before adding new files of newspapers waiting for redo. And do not forget to undo file management the AUTO value again after the execution of the changes.

And you train to make the journal command pending, it applies only on the primaries because the log command can only be performed on the database that uses online redo log files. Even if you open databases Eve with recovery that no recovery will be generated as a result no switch journal is allowed too.

    What can be?

Well, you very probably not a lot of space on the left under/Home.

You can move to another location that is located on/home/oracle/orInventory the / partitioning of the partition where you probably have more space left if you used the default value.

For example, as a root user:

    mkdir/U01

    MV/home/oracle/oraInventory/U01

    Update /etc/oraInst.loc and replace

    inventory_loc = / home/oracle/oraInventory

    with

    inventory_loc = / u01/oraInventory

  • How to minimize the log files in CS?

    Hi all

We have the database logs, archive logs and logs the content server that is stored on the disk. Y at - there any configuration setting that we can do to minimize the number of files that can be stored.

Also, is there a configuration that allows you to set different absolute paths for these logs files? As well as the folder / space management becomes easier.

    Hello Mohan,

These are the configuration variables that control the size of the log file, the directory and the number of newspapers to keep:

TraceDirectory entered configuration defines which directory you want the tracking logs files to write to.

    TraceDirectory =

The configuration entry TraceFileSizeLimit sets the size of each log file.  The default value for this setting is 1048576, which is equivalent to 1 megabyte.

    TraceFileSizeLimit = 10000000

The configuration entry TraceFileCountLimit sets the number of log files that are in the rotation.  The default value for this parameter is 10.

    TraceFileCountLimit =

Events tracing output can be controlled with a setting similar to the use of a single for the track directory.

    EventDirectory =

    Hello

I don't know if I understand what you want to achieve. If by just seeing the results in the paper mean you saw that puts the output of the order, you can use another file to write the output (I wouldn't leave out the OMBLOG file, it can be handy when you are trying to debug an error). You can use this piece of code:

    Set p_logfile "C:\\my directory\\my file.log.

    Set v_usefile [open "$p_logfile" +]

    puts $v_usefile 'your message '.

    close $v_usefile

I like to use double quotas in case the file has spaces in its path or name, if there is no space, quotas are not necessary. You can bring order to open at the beginning of your script and the file close to the end, although if your script fails, you will need a new log file, because the one you were using will get blocked until you restart your computer. For complex scripts, I have a procedure that I give the word to write my messages in a file that I keep in a global variable, this procedure opens the file, write the message, and then closes the file. Once get you it working, you don't get the locked log file because the script that you run fails.

Packer of creative cloud in creating a package that I can install do not.  He goes through the motions, download all updates, create setup file, but it does not work despite the fact that there are no errors in the log files

After hitting my head against the desk to repeatedly create packages, try on different computers I have finally found a solution.

These packages have been copied on an external drive, if I try and install from the external drive, which is a common practice, it fails.

If I then copy this file pkg from the outside, to the computer I install, then run it, it will to and moved very well.

That is mind-boggling stupid, because it's rare that you have to copy the file into any computer, it is less always installed off the coast of externally, and many people in the company are pushing on the network and the management of the suites so there is a serious problem in Adobe package manager if this is the case where it cannot manage the Middle installed offshore.

I hope that if anyone else is having problems so it suits.

I checked this by pressing a file being logged in as root:

I think you've correctly identified the source of your problem. By default, the NFS mounts are usually created with the 'root_squash' option, where the user root on a remote system creates its files as the anonymous user ('nobody' in most cases) on the exported NFS volume. It is usually a good practical security; However, in your case, you need to export the NFS volume with no_root_squash to allow the user root on Node2 to create files as expected when you run RapidWiz. Once installation is complete, you should be able to go back to using the default root_squash option, as the following files in the filesystem level of demand will be created by non-root users.

Your system administrators may not be happy with the idea of an export of no_root_squash, and I wouldn't blame them. :-) If there is dispute, make sure that they understand that it is only for the duration of the installation of the EBS, and she can (and should) be powered once the installation is complete and verified to work.

These two articles offer a brief explanation of the purpose and value of the NFS mount root_squash/no_root_squash export options.

    Kind regards
