  Now, I'm going to display content like this by using Narrative view.we use OBIEE11g.
  
  sale of 5500 we recevied in FEB comapred to 4,500 of the previous month.it increase by 1%.

  Ok no problem. Open your report that you want to the header. (only the analysis you, not the dashboard). Go to the results tab. On top, you have a 'Print Options' icon (with an image of the printer). Click there, and you can set the header and footer for this report only.

  How put us "All choices" in the prompt dash in 11g. In 10g, we had just select options "All choices" and it appeared.

  Hi Kim,

  When you create a new dashboard quickly develop Options. You will see that; "Allow the user to select multiple values" is selected by default. Deselect this option. You will see; "Include" all choices "in the list"-option appears.

  In my dashboard, I need a table view report that should have the scroll option only for this article.
  To do this, I added an html tag < iframe... scrolling = "yes" > view account and I added this narrative point of view in the report.
  Now, it works very well in the dashboard.
  
  But when I apply prompts in the dashboard, the values are not not filtering even if I added the "is"bring"filter condition in the criteria of the narrative view article and the called function.

  Set the prompt of the dashboard to a variable presentation. Then in your report, rather than use the selection "is invited" to your filter, set the filter on the variable of presentation. See if it works.

  I have a table view... I would like to see in a narrative view... just the totals for col1, col2, etc... Whenever I build using @1, @2... all rows with values are displayed... I want just the totals...

  You can add another more than 2 columns in the analysis by the sum (c1), (c2) of the sum and the sum of application of narrative view of the @3,@4 values to display these 3 and 4! also if you do not want that 3 and 4 columns to display! You can access the properties of the column and hide!

  You can retrieve some properties of an object view VirtualMachine and then do some computed properties, such as:

  ## get the View object of this VM, with a choice few properties (faster), then select some info about the objectGet-View -ViewType VirtualMachine -Filter @{"Name" = "^myVM0$"} -Property Name,Summary.Storage |    Select Name,        @{n="ProvisionedSpaceGB"; e={($_.Summary.Storage.Committed + $_.Summary.Storage.Uncommitted) / 1GB}},        @{n="UsedSpaceGB"; e={$_.Summary.Storage.Committed / 1GB}}
  

  To just get these some properties in the call to Get-view is the smaller memory usage in the PowerShell session and much higher speed during the extraction of the View object (without specifying properties to retrieve, the cmdlet returns all properties). How does do for you?

  Press the Alt key to display the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar and the bar of Navigation, so that they have a check mark.

  You may need to associate the PPT file correctly with the PowerPoint program.

  I do not know what operating system so you have and I'll give you the steps for Windows Vista.

  1. click on start / Control Panel
  2. click on programs
  3. open default programs
  4. open "associate any type of file or Protocol with a program.
  5. search in the list, PPT and PPTX and make sure that they are associated with Powerpoint and not Powerpoint Viewer.

  We have number of dashboard pages in my web catalog and each page with a report and a dashboard dashboard invite, with the same name. And there is not any such reports and dashboard guests. Now, we want to convert all my dashboard invites you in the guests of reports.

  My client application, without the need to keep the two sections in the dashboard is to say, one for report and other is for quick dashboard when we publish the dashboard. We currently guests of dashboard in the dashboard and filters, conditions in the criteria tab. But my client want to move all the stuff under the report encourages (criteria/results/guests/advanced). No need to maintain the filters on the criteria tab.

  Please suggest me how to move the dashboard invites you in guests of reports in one fell swoop.

  They won't create manually under report guests.

  I don't think they did something other than manual. Prompt and report being 2 different objects, how can be merge these 2 and more prompt columns much not be present in the report.

• Error when using Smart View install link in the workspace

  Hi all

  We recently definitely use Smart View 11.1.2.5 instead of 11.1.2.1.

  So role the file to our users, we must update the link in the workspace.  I did it, copy the new .exe and file version.xml to our server that hosts the workspace, in the path of file Oracle/Middleware/EPMSystem11R1/common/epmstatic/wspace/SmartView.  I then removed the old files.  Now when I connect to HFM and go to the link, after a period of a few minutes, I get the error "Cannot find a version of the runtime to run this application."

  I tried to restart all of the services, a dead-end.

  No one knows what to do to fix this error?

  This is a known defect in Smart View 11.1.2.5.  HFM Workspace do not recognize as valid an installation link.
