Data in table size limit @ 129491 float64s

I don't have a studio of measure, but I'm trying to s-series OR-DAQ interface modules using the NIDAQmx.h interface.

My problem boils down to the following in a c ++ application project console (visual studio 2005):

#include

int main() {}

float64 data [128 * 128 * 6];  98304 64 - bit numbersor 786432 bytes (not a megabyte)

}

This command compiles and runs very well.

If I increase the allocated size of the table given more 129491 (float64s), the program compiles well but when I run the console program, I get an exception of windows does not support.  Now that the number is just shy of 20-bit addressing for bytes, but it is not like he is exactly on the number or anything.

I will continue to look around for a solution, but if anyone can help, that would be great.

Thank you!

Hello Gus,

The stack size by default for applications compiled with Visual C++ is 1 MB. Note that the operating system and C runtime uses some stack space before that never call your main() function, so you have slightly less than a megabyte to work with. You can increase the size of the stack using the Visual C++/f option, but a better approach is to allocate the array on the heap instead (using malloc () free () or new/delete [] []).

    errorMessage: warning Table size limit exceeded by GIS 5378.0. Additional table will be created. name = errUnclassified

    These warnings are initially simply information and do not constitute an error that the user needs to worry.

    When signatures are added to the sensor, the sensor will compile all signatures in a large regular expression cache table. This considerably speeds up the analysis. The cache table, however, has a limited size. When you add a signature to the cache table would develop the table beyond the allowed size, then you will see the warning that you posted above.

    That caveat lets you know, it's that he couldn't add that signature to the existing table, and so it must create a new table for the signature and the signatures follow.

    This information before debugging for developers of signature just so they can track what is happening because signatures are added.

    The sensor works correctly and work very well. The addition of the new table only adds a very small performance reduction as an extra table must be analyzed during the analysis of the packets.

    Users running with the signature by default settings would never need to worry about this message and can consider only a few logging information (it should really have been a status message instead of an error message)

    Users who are unretiring signatures or creating their own custom signatures can see this message as they set up their sensors. So then he os to let them know that tables additional cache is taken to be created to manage the additional signatures. Once more just information and not a real error.

  • My store of data of 16 TB limit of file size of 2 TB

    Hello.  We have just received a new Dell PowerEdge R630 server with ten 2 TB drives in what I set up as a RAID5.  It is a server that I use in our new site of DR and will be a replication target site.  In any case, I installed the latest version of ESXi on it and it attached to my new vCenter server and then naturally had the precaution to create a data store.  So, through the process of doing this, I noticed at the end it says that there is a maximum file size limit of 2 TB.  See the attachment for my screenshot of it.  I don't know why this is, and in my research, I read that TB 62 is the maximum now.  I'm completely something misunderstanding?  My main concern is that I must be able to replicate my VMs in my production environment, running on an EMC SAN with NFS storage, my DR site using this new server in the target data store.  Some of my production virtual machines have vmdk files more than 2 TB; which is a matter of concern for this reason.  Any advice would be great! Thank you, Adam

    What exactly is this "latest version of ESXi" you are talking about? On ESXi 5.5 and later versions, VMFS5 supports a maximum file size of 62 to

    According to the VMware KB:

    Support of the disks of VMS over 2 TB in VMware ESXi 5.5 (2058287) | VMware KB

    Block the size of a VMFS data store limitations (1003565) | VMware KB

    The limits that apply to VMFS-5 data storage are:

    The maximum size of virtual disk (VMDK) is 2 TB minus 512 B to ESXi 5.0 and 5.1. In ESXi 5.5, size is passed to 62TB.

    If you are on 5.5 or 6.0, then I think that it is simply a cosmetic display bug in the c# Client. Among other new features, the deprecated c# client limits you to create VMDK up to 2 TB. You must use the Web Client to create and manage a VMDK more 2 TB, so maybe it's an indication that remained from previous versions of Client.

  • HTTP message size limit?

    Hello everyone,

    IM facing a problem with Http connections that I can't find a way to it.

    Im making a HTTP POST request to a web service, where all content type is JSON. This JSON contains, among other things a binary file (represented by an array of integers). Example:

    {
    "SessionId':"string content. "
    "OutputFile": {}
    "Binary": [81,
    109,
    70,

    ....],
    "FileName':"string content. "
    'Size': 250
    }
    }

    The size of the JSON data is closely depends on the size of the file. When the file is 'big' (as the 20 KB or more) the JSON Gets a size that cannot be sent and shows me a HTTP 400 response code. But if the file is about 15 KB or less, size JSON its 'ok' and the web service called without problem.

    So my question is: is there a size limit in a http body when you make a POST to a web service? I have this problem in emulator and device (8520 OS and 5.0).

    I try searching the forum for help, but there is no answers to concrete the size of an HTTP POST. I found a few discussions that talk about the multipart post method, but I think that it helped me (my web service expects a JSON well formed in the body of the request).

    Thank you in advance, I really need your help!

    Good bye.

    I finally found a workaround for this problem.

    After implementation al the setting maxSize..., maxBuffer..., readersQuota, etc., that I found in the web.config file and still not achieved nothing, I decided to change my .net 3.5 WS. The only thing different between them is the definition in the web.config file.

    After you make this change, now I can connect to the other side.

    Probably there are some settings that I could not understand in .net 4.0, but since it is not critical for my project, I made the change and it works.

    Thanks everyone for the help!

    Good bye.

  • Parsing XHTML and byte array size limit

    Hello

    I would like to analyze incoming e-mails on the device to retrieve information. The email format is XHTML and I use a sax parser to extract data (API version 4.2.1).

    InputStream is = new ByteArrayInputStream(xhtml.getBytes(encoding));
    _document = docBuilder.parse(is);

    It works fine, but it seems there is a limit of size on arrays of bytes (max count = 1999) because I had an "unexpected end of file exception" when my string is too long.

    Does anyone know how to overcome this size limit?

    Kind regards

    Stone

    By default, I think that just the first 2K of a value of data associated with an email is delivered to the device.  You need to ask for more to get the rest, I think.  Could it be the problem?  Take a look in the knowledge base for articles on this subject, I do not remember having seen that addressed this and describes how to get the remaining data.

  • array of byte size limit]

    I download & save multimedia files (video/pdf) using following code. The question is his works well for small size files MB (1 MB to 18 mb), but for some 60 MB files it stuck during the download. or sometimes download does not start. Thr is a size limit for byte array coz I am booting with the length of the file. This len contains the bytes to be read

    int

    Len = (int) hc.getLength ();

    byte data = newbyte[len];

    if (len > 0) {

    intactual = 0;

    intBytesRead = 0;

    while ((bytesread! = len) & (real! = - 1)) {

    real =

    tell. Read (data, bytesread, len - bytesread);

    bytesRead += real;

    percentage = bytesread * 100;

    percentage = percentage / len;

    int p = percentage (int);

    ProgressIndicatorScreen.

    this.model.setValue (p);

    }

    }

    I don't think that there is a size limit for an array of bytes, this is probably a problem with the connection. Download large files has been difficult for ever.

  • Can I use the data dictionary tables based on RLS policy?

    Hello guys, I use the package level security line to limit certain lines to some users.

    Hi Sy@m

    Here is a vi that might give you a few ideas to try:

  • error when pass array 1 d by data in table pointer via Labview-built c++ dll

    I'm trying to generate a Labview VI to a DLL and let it be invoked by vc ++, by which a 1 d array is passed. However, I can't generate the DLL when you use the data pointer to the table, which gives the error like below:

    [ERROR]

    Error when compiling the DLL as a function name or a parameter is illegal. Check function and parameter names are legal C identifiers and are not inconsistent with the LabVIEW headers.

    The Prototype of VI define is as below

    But, if I use the pointer to manage through the table, the generation is successful, error-free. I write something to call the DLL built labview, which basically reads 1000 double the data of an instrument.

    #include "TestDQMaxDLL.h"
    #include

    using namespace std;

    int main(int argc, char** argv) {
        cout << "Start testing DQMax DLL" << endl;

        int leng{ 1000 };
        DoubleArray rawDPData = AllocateDoubleArray(leng);
        test_dqmax_dll(&rawDPData);
        cout << "Successfully invoked the DLL!" << endl;
        cout << "DoubleArray.len: " << (*rawDPData)->dimSize << endl;
        for (int i = 0; i < leng; i++)
        {
            cout << (*(rawDPData + i))->elt[0] << "\t";
            if (0 == i % 10)
            cout << endl;
        }

        system("pause");

        DeAllocateDoubleArray(&rawDPData);
    }

    But the printed results are not correct.

    My questions are:

    1. why cannot generate DLLS with the data of table pointer. In this case, the argument of the function is as simple as a double array.

    2. for table handle pointer, when the resutls are incorrect and how to get the good ones.

    Any comments would be appreciated.

    BTW: I use Labview 2012 with Visual c ++ 2013 on Windows7 64 bit.

    I never needed to pass a table of LabVIEW handle external code. Search this forum for posts of RolfK, it is most likely to have posted such an example. I recommend that you keep things simple and remodelling your table a table 1 d 2D before moving on to external code and manage as a 1 d table (it's just a little extra math).

    Sorry I don't have a solution on why you can't build with a 1 d as a pointer of table table. If you post your project I'm happy to try to build (I'm on LabVIEW 2012, however), but as you said, it will rely on another machine, it seems more likely to be a problem with something on the specific computer where there is a problem.

  • 2 dimension table size error

    Hello

    In file attached an example of my problem. I remove a 2-dimension table and the size of the screen. I can see in "size 2" (see the example) that the size is not 0. Is this a normal behavior?

    Thanks in advance, Daniel.

    Hi Daniel,.

    Since the delete array help page:

    "Delete From table details

    This function reduces the table in only one dimension... »

    Even if your table 'seem empty,' he is so really. I'm guessing that the memory for lines is still allocated.

    You can see by connecting the array to a loop and check how many times she iterates (i.e. twice).

    To really empty table, you can add a further dismantling of the Array function and delete lines (length = 2, index = 0). Now connect this to a for loop and you will see it does not iterate. Table sizes will now be 0,0.

    A little weird at first, but ultimately this is the expected behavior.
