Data of heart rate watch/iphone for mac?

I don't know how to use the on the watch heart rate monitor and I know how to see the daily lists of heart rate through the day on my iPhone, but I can't figure out how to get all the data that is listed on my MacBook Pro or even an app to see what traced on my iPhone 6.  The list is great, but I really want to see this trace on another way.  The apps I've seen for the iPhone can take each day and give me an average, but which is useless, since a few days I do intense exercise and others do not and average is not what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello

Health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are shared with and grouped within the health on iPhone app.

The data of frequency heart he include a chart, that trace data of heart rate of your choice of course day, week, month or year (press the tabs to change the time period):

-In the health app (red heart on a white background), go to: health data > Vitals > heart rate.

-To add the table to the health Dashboard app, enable this option.

This and other application of health data can also be exported, which you may find useful for a more detailed analysis (health app: health data > All - Share at the top button on the right).

There are also a few third-party applications that you might find useful - for example:

Access to QS

-"Access your HealthKit data in a table so you can Explorer using numbers, Excel, R, or any other tool compatible CSV."

  • Fake Apple Watch heart rate data

I noticed something very weird with my Apple Watch. I stopped wearing for 2 weeks and during that time, I allowed the battery on the Apple Watch battery elapse. After the week 2 period I rebooted my Apple Watch again and noticed in the health App on my iPhone, the Apple Watch was started by sending dummy data of heart rate for the period of 2 weeks of time my Apple Watch is absent.

Then I noticed after a few days when I wore my Apple Watch in the night he continued to send fictitious data of heart rate.

The only way I could solve this problem was restoring the latest backup watch.

I have the 42mm so curious sport model.

    Hello

I did not personally this experience with my watch (sport 38mm watch OS 2.2).

However, I may be able to provide a little insight into the question:

Apple Watch knows when it is connected to its charger and will not trigger the sensor even if prompted, it seems more likely to me that one-third of the app is written to your healthy heart rate data.

To check, go to the health > Sources and listed under 'Apps' there should appear a list of allowed applications to interact with and write data.

You can check that these applications are not write data.

All the best and by all means keep me updated!

    Hi Steven

For example, you can find the following useful third-party application:

  • Firefox for Mac does not recognize a valid SSL certificate

Firefox for Mac does not recognize the SSL certificate that is valid for this site, I got: https://www.georgeglazer.com. It gives a warning "not reliable." However, the Firefox for Windows does not give a warning. This happens even if I clear the cache and it happens in the Mavericks and OS of Yosemite. The certificate is up-to-date and with Comodo. Firefox for Mac is now the only browser producing these errors (v. 39, put updated) - Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome are not. Our hosting provider has said it's probably a browser issue, perhaps having to do with intermediate certificates in Firefox being obsolete. I really hope you'll solve the problem, as it's annoying for us when we're going to do right by our customers and pay for the SSL certificate. I have attached a picture of the warning and the other from what you see on a PC: a pop-up that says it is a verified SSL certificate and gives details about the issuer, the period of validity, etc.

COMODO should you sent a link to download the file 'bundle' containing the intermediate certificates. Who needs to go in the same directory as the certificate of your site. If you are using a control panel, your host can probably help with this process. And if you bought through them, shame on them for not taking care of this for you already!

    Hello

To mark a segment (for example one lap) during running exercise using integrated workout app, you can double-click the screen. The display briefly shows the stats for this segment. Segments can be examined after training through the activity on the matched iPhone application:

You can see that an application of third party best suited to your needs.

To learn about the characteristics of third-party applications, I suggest you consult the descriptions of app developers and their support resources. For example:

If you don't find the specific information you're looking for, you can ask the developer directly. This is usually possible through their support resources (you may need to create a free account in order to be able to connect). They may also be open to feature requests.

    Hello

Mode power saving can be activated.

To check this, on your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > Workout - if it is currently enabled, disable power saving Mode.

(When the power saving Mode is enabled, it disables the sensor of heart rate during workouts running).

    Hello

When you save a workout using integrated workout app, your heart rate will be measured continuously throughout the workout. During training, you can also choose what primary metric is shown on your dial, with choices including heart rate. At the end of the workout, the results include the heart rate data. Training sessions are also recorded in the implementation of the activity on your iPhone.

During the workout, to change the main metric indicated on the dial of the watch, slide on the side on this subject. Depending on your type of activity, the choice may include: time, active calories, total calories, heart rate, rhythm, speed and distance.

Health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are also aggregated within the health on iPhone app. Combined data is reflected in the application of health dashboard, which adjusts the results to avoid any double counting of data from different sources.

To see Apple Watch heart rate data and other sources (for example a Bluetooth chest monitor strap):

-On your iPhone, in the application of health (icon has a red heart on a white background), go to: data on health (tab) > Vitals > heart rate.

Data are displayed in graphical form (this can be added to the application of Health Dashboard by activating the setting here) as well as individual data points (via display all data).

  • How to put in the front of the watch during swimming to see heart rate

Received the Watch 2 day and taken for a swim practice in the pool (of course)

happly to see enough faithfully has towers and gives average heart rate but only AFTER training

I wanted to 4000 m (and I fact..) but from the exercise the watch when asked for the total calories to burn.

QUESTION 1: how to set the distance (rather than calories)? At the start of the year?

While the dial of the watch training appeared when out of the water and gave the number of laps, total distance, total time of exercise and calories burned.

QUESTION 2: you can change the information presented during the swim to see heart rate? (Rather than the number of Calories predictable)?

    NOTE

For swimming training, the watch is a bit disappointing, given that in the swimming training, you normally do a few repetitions as 10 x 100 start each 01:30 or 01:45. I normally use the watch of Garmin swimming to take the time (100 m start button and press again on arrival) of the clock, then briefly shows duration of the tour and afte 4 continuous seconds so you can see when you start again (e.g. to 01:45). I hope that there will be a third-party solution soon for Apple Watch 2, while I don't have to swim with two watches...

  • What is the accuracy of the watch heart rate Moniter?

My heart rate monitor Apple Watch occasionally reads too low was 30. When this happens and I manually check my pulse there is an important difference, which is that my pulse is 70.

My question is, is this a fault of my watch or is it like that?

    Hello

Consumer Resports tested the heart rate sensor against their dedicated Recommendations cardiofrequence-meter and can't find 'no difference' between their reading:

However, Apple says that, even in ideal conditions, Apple Watch may not be able to record a reliable heart rate monitor each time reading for everyone.

For best performance of the heart rate sensor, make sure you wear your watch sufficiently snug on top of your wrist. The collar must be neither too tight nor too loose, allowing room for your skin to breathe:

For best performance during practices, Apple suggests you consider your clamping beforehand watch band and he loosen again thereafter.

The sensor is likely to give better results for workouts that involve rhythmic (for example running) rather than the irregular movements (for example boxing). During all the training that involve bending your wrists (such as weight training, for example), it can help to keep your watch a little higher on your arm, the joint in flexion.

Other problems that can affect the performance of the sensor include skin perfusion and tattoos wrist - see the link below for more details.

Apple says that, if you encounter inconsistent readings, you consider your watch to connect wirelessly to an external heart monitor (for example, a chest strap Bluetooth) during the training:
