  I tried the following things so far (in that particular order):
  -Load BIOS default
  -Flashed the BIOS with the latest version of the BIOS (2.80) for this type of model
  -Reinstalled windows with HARD drive format

  All the these did not work.

  I saw the same message appearing on several places on the internet (on different laptops with a Phoenix BIOS in common), but so far I have not been able to find a working solution.

  It might me a hardware problem, but all devices (vga, soiund, lan, wifi, usb, hdd) seem to work perfectly under Windows, so this does not seem the question). Another solution that is mentioned in some forums, replace the battery. But because the phone keeps time correctly I don't think it's the case either.

  Any ideas?

  The POST (power on self-test) BIOS checks and detects errors on the motherboard.
  I think it has something to do with the hardware on the motherboard problem.
  I doubt that you can solve this if update of the BIOS and the BIOS default settings didn't change that.

  What to say; I think that the technician of the ASP should run tests to check what's wrong or what cause this I think it is question of s mobo.

  It seems that the BIOS has detected an error with a certain part of material...

  Before doing something I recommend you load the default settings in the BIOS. If you are in the BIOS Setup, press the F9 key.

  If it doesn t work you need for professional assistance from an authorized service I think. Guys need to check which part of the material is defective and must be replaced.

  I have computer aGateway running Vista Home Edition and something happened with WIndows Media Player.   I have the DVD/RW internal drive and external DVD/RW as a player.  I use them mainly to copy music files and it has always worked fine until yesterday.

  When I try to burn a music disc, the player is registered as a DATA reader and does not allow me to copy music files that I can play on an external source (such as the CD or car drive).  Worked fine Saturday and had burned discs Saturday night recognizes the two drives as data drives.

  Is it something that needs to be reset or changed?

  In WMP, please click the button burn up and make sure that the Audio CD is selected. Then try burning the CD again, they now play on a standalone CD player too.

• Computer laptop Gateway does not load windows Vista, reads configuration data read error: System.

  OK a friend knows me to fix his laptop. Apparently what she was experiencing major problems, so he erased the disc and tried to reinstall Win Vista from disk. Will not work. I can get to where you can choose a partition to install the operating system to, and it says: Windows cannot find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation. My friend says he has just tried, form disassemble the computer an audit of all the parties to try ALL the different options during installation, as well as the options for the BIOS. Any ideas people? Here are the approximate specifications, because the owner has not been able to get the computer working for awhile:

  I'm not very tech savy and I'm not the owner of the PC, so I don't know all about it so go easy on me :).

  If your friend tried to reinstall Windows by using the defined gateway recovery disc (and this is the best way) and this recovery fails, the laptop has hardware problems. Disassemble laptops is a fickle business at best and while it sounds like the hardware problems started before your friend did this, it may have put the nails in the coffin of the laptop to take apart.

  At this point, you can try troubleshooting hardware or your friend can take the laptop to a competent professional (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place). However, if the laptop has had hard use, your friend must remember that a cell of 4 years with major hardware problems probably won't be cost effective to repair.

  Well, you have to remember two things. One, there may be any time where the disk IO would be completely zero. At any time, certain data would come the disc as the buffer cache is a circular cache that flushes unused data after certain periods of time. Also the data that will be the consultation: for the first have no choice but to come from the disc. Then there would always be a disk activity that will be there.

  Second, hmm OK do not discuss each other, it can confuse you.

  As a dba, you would not normally be too worried about user IO level. What you should look on, it is that in the system, all disk i/o are not too high which may lead to the question that your cache configurations do not correctly!

  Hi hari,.

  One thing that is very important when you use the Excel activeX interface (in case you need it) is good termination of worksheet/workbook/lettering handles.

  You need these handles to specify what cell in which file you are trying to access.

  If you are unable to throw each handle you have, then you will be left with ghost Excel process in your task manager, devours your system's memory.

  Thus, when debugging of your application, open the Task Manager and the watch as Excel treats created/destroyed and make sure that you end up with zero Excel process running when your application is closed.

  Also consider the case of fault for your program. Check that your exit routes did not omit any termination of handle.

  I use 3.5 TestStand and LabVIEW 8.je know these are quite old versions now, but we must continue with this on a test bench.

  My question is how can I read data from the file xls using TestStand 3.5? I have already mentioned a few posts on this, and one response suggested that I should use "tGetExcel" using ActiveX adapter. I tried to run the test example related to "http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand/Write-or-read-to-Excel-from-TestStand/td-p/250439/highlight/tru...", but a run-time error. He says that "the tGetExcel type library information not found. Make sure that the server is registered in the system.

  TestStand 4.2, I could easily run excel at the base of operations by using the Office Excel Toolkit.

  I was wondering, is there another way, I can read just .xls file data by using Teststand 3.5?

  This shows the limits of excel file loading.

  But you can load the values of the variables-consult the help file / Reference manual for this type of step.

• Satellite P200 Vista Ultimate - boot configuration data read error

  I have a Toshiba Satellite P200 running Vista Ultimate.

  Recently I started having a problem after restarting after the installation of vista updates. In fact, it will not start at all and gives me the following message on a black screen.

  Windows could not start. A recent change in hardware or software can cause of bethe. To solve the problem:

  1. Insert your windows installation disc, and then restart your computer
  2. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
  3. click on "repair your computer".

  If you do not have this disc contact your manufacturer aministrator or the computer of the help system.

  Info: An error occurred trying to read the boot configuration data.

  The only way I can fix it to insert the recovery dvd and click on repair. This levonorgestrol only when the computer restarts after an update. If I manually turn off the computer, then on start up fine.

  I don't want to put automatic offf to update more because I think they are important from the safety point of view, however, this situation is not acceptable.

  Can someone please help.

  In my opinion, there is something wrong with your mater boot (MBR) of the drive and therefore the bootloader causes an error.

  Usually, you might be able to fix it using the original disk of Vista but it s really strange that this problem still occurs after the update to vista.

  In my eyes, you should really check if the same problem would happen using the Toshiba factory settings and configuration.

• The data read into the buffer HAVE lack samples at the beginning

  I use a box USB-6251. The program implements two channels of AI (read I and Q) on a single task and one channel on another task. The channel uses the ai\SampleClock as its clock, so that both are synchronized. C creates a digital pulse periodic rising edge (a clock basically) which is used as a trigger on an external function generator. The signal from the unit after going through some material, external signal processing is ultimately what is read by the channel of GOT it.

  We know from the relevant signals, they seem to be correctly synchronized scope. IE, the analog signal to read arrived on the channel of the AI of the acquisition of data more or less instananeously when the trigger is activated. If there is a delay, it is of the order of microseconds.

  However, when I read in the buffer of HAVE (repeated FiniteSamples), waveform, I always come back has a section of samples at the beginning that seem to be returned of the first actually read data-point (see attached image). This delay is of the order of milliseconds (it varies with each series).

  I want to totally eliminate this delay. The signal should be a sinusoid which begins to sample 0 and is continuous through until the last sample read.

  Always seems to solve these problems, shortly after their validation.

  The problem has start the digital task AFTER the analog task. In the small delay between the two lines of code running, read analog had already begun, and so some of the impulses of the AI/SampleClock were missed by the task. The order of departure between the two tasks of switching solves the problem.

• Data read rotation Labview via a cable line RS232 and USB converter series

  I have a program to read a string of data to a 2B Technologies Ozone monitor model 202.  The program does not come to the top with an error message, but every 30 to 40 hours Labview will turn my row of data.  For example, if a normal data row is 34.5, 37.5, 812.0, 934.0, 07/11/14, 11:52:38 and coma delaminated, then the problem is the reading (first digit) ozone layer displays the reference zero, then the seconds of the playback time will be moves in the spot ozone in the data file and the line will turn from there.  I tried to change the bytes being read to the Labview program and the many ways of emptying the buffer, but the problem is still there.  I have attached an example of data file in which the problem took place and a screenshot of my labview program.  I am a user of labview fairly new descriptive help would be much appreciated.  Thank you!

  When you use a termination character, do not use the bytes to the Port. Just wire a constant to the number of bytes that is larger that the largest message possible.

  Hi people,

  I am very new to matlab and trying to get a comprehensive program that will read my library of recordings of electric fish.  It is a simple binary format which auto contains information necessary for playback.  After a few days before the software, I was able to write a single passage that dissects the first record of my file.  However, I want to structure the data, so that I can easily navigate through each record added to a particular file.  I attatched the file .vi so far I came with... I don't know that I have to write a loop and add data to a table or a cluster, although the procedure for this escapes me.  Is there an effective way more to code this?  Thank you very much for any help you can be able to provide!

  Well, I made my mistake cardinal on the forums and called Labview Matlab in my previous post.  Apology.  I've made some progress on this point, with a loop that adds data to a structure...

  Now, I would like to find a way to achieve more effectively... Any ideas?  Thanks in advance!
