Data time stamp generated without fractions of a second.

Hello

I do some testing with redefining online timestamp column.
When you try to generate timestamp data looks like fractions of a second are 0s
insert into t select r , systimestamp+ 1+r/(24*60*60*2) from (select rownum r from dual connect by level <= 100);

select * from t where rownum <= 3;

   ID DATA
----- ------------------------------------
    1 15-MAY-10 01.59.16.000000 PM
    2 15-MAY-10 01.59.16.000000 PM
    3 15-MAY-10 01.59.17.000000 PM
When I insert:
insert into t (101, timestamp '2010-01-11 11:11:11.123456');
That's ok.
What's wrong with my data generator? :))
Kind regards.

Arithmetic, such as dates

x + 1+r/(24*60*60*2)

Suppose x is a DATE, not a TIMESTAMP and returns a DATE.
If x is a TIMESTAMP (as in your case), the system converts implicitly to a DATE, lose the fraction of a second.
Similarly, when you INSERT into your table, the system waits a TIMESTAMP, but if you pass it a DATE (as you do) the system implicitly converts a TIMESTAMP.

Don't use no arithmetic dates with the TIMESTAMPS. There are other ways (although less convenient) to manipulate the timestamps.
For example

SYSTIMESTAMP + NUMTODSINVERVAL ( (1+r/(24*60*60*2))
                      , 'DAY'
                      )

  • Time stamp generated by javascript Turning time of zeros

    Hello

    I am trialing Adobe Acrobat XI for my company and I'm trying to create a form with a unique timestamp using this script:

    var f = this.getField ("UniqueID");

    f.Value = util.printd ("mmddyyyyHHMMss", new Date());

    However the part output HHMMss begins to turn to zeroes so it will look like:

    08302013000000

    Instead of (for example)

    08302013223231

    However, the time appears when the box is checked, but when it is deselected it goes back to 000000 as the time.

    This is a problem because these time stamps must be unique each time slot this form will be used more than once per day.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm still really new to Javascript.

    Thank you

    Michael

    Where place you this script exactly?

    I put it under the fields calculate the parameter, under custom calculation script.

    You define the category format to anything?

    I put the date format category, then customized and implemented as mmddyyyyHHMMss

    Clear formatting fixed the problem.

  • How time stamp a document similar to a timestamp of fax

    We use PDF files extensively in our billing process. Validation of the day and time of reception we have generally invoked the fax put a stamp of time on each pdf it generates for us.  The problem is that now that many vendors are sending scanned documents, we get bills that have no date/time stamp.  I'm looking for a way to put a stamp of date/time on the document in order to authenticate the date of actual receipt.  Any ideas on how to achieve this with Acrobat 8 Pro?  Instructions on how to implement would be appreciated, as well. • Caputing code date/time of Sony DCR-TRV80 / Mini DV tape

    Hi all

    I am trying to take my 10 years and more Sony DCR -TRV80 / Mini DV tapes and convert them to digital. I bought the first of 12 elements.

    I want to try to capture the video and the date/time stamp to display at the bottom of the video image (preferably for 5 seconds).

    If I can't do that, I need to watch all of her capture and manually write time stamps / date of capture.

    Any ideas?

    Y at - it another program that could do if first elements 12 does not work?

    This isn't a feature of Premiere Elements. However, many people were able to do it by supplementing with a program called DV Date.

  • Converts a date into a date/time object string

    I have a JDBC call to enter data, including a date/time stamp.  For the life of me, I can't understand how to convert this string to a date/time field correct.  It is important, because I need to use validation strings to present a time more simplified users on a form.  But I like to keep the original date/time, so I can insert it again into a SQL db at the end.  I created a test process, so I can watch the progress.

    ' input string = ' 18/08/2010 16:41:23.

    Expression = dateTime-analysis-withFormat (/process_data/@datestring,"yyyy/MM/dd hh', 'FR', 'US', 'WIN',"CDT")

    Result = 18 August 2010 22:41:23 this

    So I try to put this value into a date field and I get the error:
    : Invalid ISO8601 DateTime:August 18, 2010 21:41:23 GMT:java.text.ParseException: date of: "August 18, 2010 22:41:23 this."

    I tried like 100 different variations to associate with an object date and time with the same result.  I can use the functions of analysis-dateTime or analysis-dateTime-withFormat throughout the day, but I can't get this string value in a proper date field.  Any ideas?  Please help as I'm about to pull out my hair... ... who won't be pretty.

    (Note: I know that my time zone came through OK but I am not concerned about it right now)

    To resolve this problem, I use ExecuteScript activity with the code:

    import java.util.Date;
    import impossible;

    String dateString = patExecContext.getProcessDataStringValue ("/ process_data/@input");

    SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat ("yyyy-MM-DD hh: mm :"); ")
    Date date = (Date) formatter.parse (dateString);

    patExecContext.setProcessDataValue ("/ process_data/result", date);

    where

    entry - process line with the dates of the string variable '2010-01-01 23:59:59 '.

  • Date/time/web address stamp - printing problem

    My printer has always printed the stamp of date/time/site address when the Web well above the edges of the paper up to a month. Now print only about 1/5 of the line and is not readable... other 4/5 printing is above/below the edge of the paper down. I adjusted the margins and the header/footer settings and that did not solve the problem. Any help is appreciated. Have an officejet all-in-one 4620.

  • Script Automator for the DATE and TIME stamped record

    Hi all

    I'm not a scripter, but are in need of a DATE and time-STAMPED folder (or file) I would like to put on my desktop and have updated automatically so that I can use this tool to quickly see if a backup external (or internal) is current. probably I could also use it to quickly find out how /old/ a backup is.

    for now, I do this manually if I want to quickly verify that a backup works by creating a "date named folder" on the desktop - such as '-2016 03 26 "."» so I can quickly see if a backup I just ran ran.

    I have a lot of backups (internal, external, off site, etc.) and it would be super useful for me to have.

    I consider the name of the folder to be customizable (potentially) in case I need to change it, but a good default would be "-YEAR MONTH DAY" so that I could see easily when this backup has been but also I name my files in this way so they can appear in chronological order "."

    is anyone able to help me with something like that or suggest another forum for cross-post this?

    Thank you

    Jon

    Of course. Change the type of data returned by DBL 2D to 1 D wave form. This is doen by clicking on the polymorphic selector or right-click and choose 'select the Type '.
