  We have a dynamic menu in our application (af:menuTabs in the upper part of the application). Whenever a click occurs under the tab insert us a record into a table of audit system via a ViewObject. We received a bug today report say when a user clicks too fast on the legs, they get an ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYS_APPS_LOG_PK) violation exception. Here's some code that I currently use for this insert operation:

  Use a sequence as the PK ;) I guess you get two clicks to the same timestamp value, and that you use the module users/name/timestamp as the pk.

  You can also check to see if af:menuTabs have the 'blocking' attribute, you can define (to prevent double-click) - I'm not casual if they do.

I know that I need my wired adapter so that the whole process to complete due to the time it takes for the migration. If I unplug my adapter for 5 minutes the macbook will lose power because of the battery off in utility mode or power will be uninterrupted?

  Im not sure he could stop it, but to be sure I would just leave it alone, because if it is interrupted it could damage the macbook and time machine backup

  We have a very old application server run on W2K8 R2 stand-alone (no advertising).  We decide to migrate the server to new hardware.

  1 standard switch (empty)
  1 FreeNAS to provide iSCSI LUNS
  1 Microsoft to provide iSCSI LUNS

  When I try to migrate virtual machines between the warehouses of shared data or data shared at local store, all right. The problem has become when I try to migrate virtual machines from the local to the shared data store. All data stores down (all paths down) and back up and I get this error:

  "Error caused by the /vmfs/volumes/volumenID/VMDirectory/Disk.vmdk file.

  
  When I try to migrate virtual machines from the local to the FreeNAS iSCSI data store it fails immediately.
  When I do the same local Microsoft iSCSI datastore that it takes a time loooooong to migrate the virtual computer, give it to me even all the paths downwards and uplinks down error but not lacking in migration.

  I'll give you some screenshots to see the errors.

  EDIT: I have extremely high latency notice when I try to migrate from the premises of warehouses of shared data. average 2000ms with peaks of 50,000 (see my response below for more information)

  Finally, I found the solution! The problem is that I have been using E1000E vmnic instead of vmxnet3. I have configured an adapter vmxnet3 and boom! 20 ms in all migration!

  My team and I intend to do a migration of an IBM ESS 800 SAN to an IBM DS5300 for our VMWare environment.  We plan to start a new LUN on the 5300 which are assigned to the ESX host with the number 0 and back in order from there.  Do I need to worry if the ESX host already recognize the LUNS defined on the 800 as a beginner to 0?  We have nearly 80 production virtual machines in the environment and I don't want to cause problems for them when we give the new LUNS to the environment.

  Try to remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new file profiles.ini and a new default profile.
