DC 7600 video card question

If anyone has this pc what kind of cards you have is successful by running in it?

Hello

Your PC has to a slot PCI-e x 16 available for the upgrade chart cacapabilities. Any PCI-e x 16 is not wide double-slot, or which requires a pcie power plug should work. If you take a look at themages to NewEgg.com i you can see what NVIDIA (Geforce) and Radeon based cards are double wide. Your PC isn't enough physical space for adjustment.  For Radeon 3000 series cards and below with the exception of the no higher than a HD 3650 in the 3000 series. 7000 series lower with some exceptions based on NVIDIA cards. 8000 series: nothing higher than a 8600 model. the 9000 series is a step to go.

Your power supply is not capable of running the cards I mentioned as exceptions. Your power supply is less than 300W. Powerful graphics cards require more power and additional PCIe power specific connectors.  Read the specifications to ensure that the video card that you are considering doesn't have any additional power supply.

You can bind the cards that you are considering, and we'll let you know if will agree and will work and why they won't if they are the exceptions.

Kind regards

ERICO

Last night, I ordered a titled graphics card "ATI Radeon 9250 card 256 MB DDR PCI"... which, after purchasing, I discovered via google and other search engines it takes to 220W - 250W power... the power supply installed is 200W... fundamental question is: should I upgrade the PSU? Hello

    Welcome to the community

Have you tested the video card? The computer works fine with the new card? In this configuration, I suggest to upgrade the power supply. You can get 250W or higher power. If the computer is on, you can wait for that stop at random. Let me know if you still need assistance.

  • Video card question

I wanted to buy a video card that s in charge of two monitors, but I don't know which could adapt to these specifications.  Any help would be great.

    Compaq model # SR5505F

    4gm RAM

    Windows Vista 32 bit

    AMD 64 x 2 Dual Core 4200 + 2.2 GHz

Here are the specifications of your Compaq Presario SR5505F desktop and is the card mother M2N68-(Ivy8). According to the specifications of your system has an expansion slot PCIe x 16 for use with a graphics card. Also, the specifications indicate that your system came with a 250 watt power supply, which will eliminate almost all graphics cards retail. Most retail cards require a 300 watts or more power supply. The Corsair CX500 and CX600 are highly recommended and known to adapt in many cases of HP. Not a good choice because of these 2 reasons.

    (1) it is a map of the workstation and not a gamer/home deaktop card.

    (2) it is more expensive than the one I recommend.

  • Upgrading the video card Question

Hi there, I was hoping to upgrade the Videocard in my HP PC Pavilion CTO of a1110y, so that I could start to use it more for the games. I think I found an appropriate map that would work for my computer, but I'm not quite well. Since there is only a normal (not express) PCI slot in the PC, this card would work?

I was also wondering if my diet would be to handle it and also if it could fit in my PC Tower.

    Thank you!

This desire to map is adapted to your PC.

There will be games that simply, you won't be able to play like Crysis or Far Cry.

Your power supply is 300 Watt and should have no problem with the card. the manufacturer indicates a power supply of 250 W is minimal.

  • 2nd video card question

I currently have a GeForce GTX 470 in my system.  If I add a 2nd Nvidia card to use for the 3rd exit monitor (not all GPU operations), should be another GTX 4xx Series or a GeForce 8400GS would work? I realize the two cards must use the same disks and both the GTX 470 and 8400GS use the same Nvidia driver download, but I do not know if the download (currently the driver GeForce 295,73) have different physical drives for the 2 cards.

    Thanks for any input.

For the record, I had a Quadro FX1700 on my system, and I added a GTX 580, udpated drivers and voila!.

Now, the only thing you have to watch is the first (and other software) seem to use by default the first map in the system (so your first perfrmance may be affected, and if you plan to add that a better GPU did nothing for you because first use only a GPU CUDA and it will try to use it first on the system) then, on the Nvidia Control Panel, under manage 3D settings, make sure that you use good GPU CUDA with premierepro.exe (select "ALL", but force the right thing instead)

It happened to me, save an hour of frustration.

  • HP Pavilion p6623w video Graphics Card Question.

With the HP Pavilion p6623w, it has an integrated ATI graphics built in. I recently bought a Zotac GeForce gtx 550 ti AMP! Video card and I wanted to install it in the HP System. Unfortunately since I installed it, I had many problems to make same ot games starts. Star Wars: The Old Republic opens the menu and when I click on 'play' it black screens and closed auto itself. The same question comes with League of legends and any demo that I download.

I've updated the drivers as well as other updates that I did to my PC and still no luck, so I'm stuck. I guess it could be my integrated video card?

I can't seem to find a way to disable and exactly how would I have done that?

Please and thanks for the help!

Here are the specifications of your HP p6623w desktop and here are the specs of the ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 550 AMP Ti ! Edition graphics card, you are having problems with. According to the specifications of your computer, your system came with a 250 watt power supply. According to the specifications of the Zotac GTX 550 Ti, it requires a minimum system + 400 watts of power. Unless you have installed a new more powerful PSU, this card will try to draw more power than the PSU will provide.

With regard to the integrated... video card BIOS automatically disables it when it detects a card into the PCIe x 16 slot.

  • Question of HPE-180 t upgrade video card/PSU

I have never updated a video card or a power supply before and am a little worried about this procedure. I have a HPE-180 t and I want to spend the GT 220 GPUS to a GTX 560 Ti.

The thing is that when I open the case, I don't know if there is enough space. I read that the 560 Ti is a large map and takes about 2 connectors on the motherboard. The GT 220 that I look pretty tight on one side, and it is not as big as the 560. Someone has it already done this before update? I don't know if the case of the size vary between models of HP Office.

For food, I get this one:

Same issue - anyone done this upgrade successfully on a HPE-180 t? If this isn't the case, I have problems with it?

    Other problems, I'd be worried?

Great, thank you for taking the time to answer.  You are welcome!  I'm happy to help you.

I was just wondering, how did you choose this particular video card? It seems that there is a lot of variety of different manufacturers.  Over the years, I have spent many hours on the forums of enthusiasts/player/overclocking.  From this experience, I came to love graphics cards XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  They are the manufacturers who make very good products and offer good customer Service.  Also, when you pick up any product, I read as many customers as possible.  They give you the straight scoop without any exaggeration of the manufacturer.  Other customers the better.  When I see a product that has more than 200 customers and is rated 4 stars or higher, I won't hesitate to buy it.  Some comments may be pros, but the majority are people like you and me.  I hope that explains my choice.

Also, I noticed that the product dimensions are 9 "x 4,38", which I suppose is just length x width. The "depth" (or width when looking from the rear which is held vertically) is not listed, so that usually not a problem (i.e. it will not conflict with what anyone on either side)?  If the card fits in length and the width and height of the map is not as critical.  Most cases will be enough space.  The length is more critical, however.  I would stay 9 "or less.  Normally, this ensures that the card will fit in the case of medium-sized and allowing good air flow.  A card will be a full case.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.  I'm always happy to help someone to learn about the components of the computer.

  • Newbie question video card

I have a FX3800 currently and that you have upgraded to CS5.

    Two questions:

    1. when they say that the GTX cards have a limit of 3 layers, do you mean securities or 3 effects on any clip or something else? Also, is it true that the 3800 has thus limiting? (I have read the forums for 2 hours tonight and am therefore confused!)

    2. my son also used CS4 a year or two, and I think to make a video card now that it's CS5 as well. (He is mad talented and only 13!) So, should I give him the 3800 and get me the 470 or should I keep the 3800 in my system?

  • Satellite Pro A10: Question about upgrading video card

Hi guys, I have a laptop Satellite Pro A10 and I was wondering if anyone of you could help me.

I want to improve my Ram card memory and video. The video card now is an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller and want a graphics card with at least 128 MB of memory on this subject.
    Any recommendation?
Any help would be appreciated muchly.

    Hello

It of not possible to change the graphics card. The graphics card is a small chip that attaches to the motherboard.
This graphics card supports up to 64 MB shared memory. The graphics card gets this value of main memory if it s needed.

The possibility to upgrade the memory of this device is something different.
You can upgrade the memory to max 1024 MB (2x512MB) and these modules should work.
    PC2100 128 MB (PA3126U - 1 M 12)
    PC2100 256 MB (PA3127U - 1 M 25)

Hope this will help a little.

  • Satellite L30 - question video card update

    Hey guys!

I have a Toshiba Satellite L30-113 and I am very happy with the way it looks and works. I managed to update the 3 GB RAM, the processor is in a pretty good shape, although it is only 1.7 GHz.

Now, my only problem is that the video card, the laptop is equipped with (ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 M) is quite low. You have an idea on which other (preferably better) video cards is compatible with the Satellite L30 - 113 default installation?

    Thank you!

Speaking of GPU Generly cannot be upgraded on laptops. Due to the specific design and cooling with limited cooling performance, it cannot be done.

    Thank you

    Hi Galin,

It is generally not possible to update the graphics card in a notebook. They are generally adapted to fit the available space and also specially designed drivers that are specific to your model of laptop. It is also quite common for them to use the RAM shared rather than having their own chip RAM (although some later model specifications have dedicated for graphics RAM).

You can check in your advanced (from Control Panel) display options if you can adjust the RAM available for your graphics card.

  • Qosmio G30-141: Question on the use of an external video card

    Hello world!

Is - anyone know something about external video for toshiba card notes? Like Asus XG Station, Village Tronic ViDock Gfx Pro or AMILO GraphicBooster.

Will be toshiba develop & manufacture a similar device like them? My rating is Qosmio F30-141 & I want to play the GRID, GTA IV, NFS Shift in high resolution with all the spec.effects.

Now I play GRID on the resolution 640 x 480 & medium quality). Nice game IMHO.

PS PS3 & XBOX360? No reason to buy them for my 2-3 cheaper than the console games.

    Hello

I doubt that the external video card could provide enough power to play these games
You can connect these via the USB port video cards and I think that the USB port cannot transfer this huge amount of data that would be needed to play games with all the details
In addition, the graphics card upgrade is not possible on laptops

I have a desktop PC and laptop. I always use the desktop PC for games.
The components are easy to update and I can build a game machine clean with the best GPU, motherboard, and processor.
