  • How to Deauthorize Computer?

A year ago I had to reset hard my computer because he had malicious material on it. Since then I have not been able to Deauthorize my computer. I looked at other posts of the community who say to go to account info > permissions for computer and Deauthorize all computers in there. But I do not have this button. Is there another way to Deauthorize a computer?

This button appears only if you have two or more authorized computers. If you are able to Deauthorize it individually (the process is almost identical to allow a computer), do; Otherwise, leave as what until and unless you get the function remove all.

You can authorize 5 computers by Apple ID at some point.

  • Trying to Deauthorize mini PPC running iTunes 4

Hi, I have an old mini PPC I want to give.  I would remove the machine first, but I can't connect to the iTunes Store.  When I try to go to https://appleid.apple.com.ca I get a message from Safari saying that it cannot establish a secure connection.  I guess the software is just too old to speak correctly on a secure server more.  I don't want to remove all.  What are my options?

I don't know why you try to go to this site (the Apple site is http://appleid.apple.com, it does not have a .ca on the end of it; and that the site is not used to deauthorising a computer), to deauthorise a computer you use iTunes on this computer: Deauthorize your computer using iTunes - Apple Support

For this problem, you must Deauthorize and reauthorize the ADAM.

    Mac:

    Help-> Erase authorization

    This will Deauthorize your computer.

    Now allow once again as:

    Help-> computer allow.

    I hope this works!

  • Adobe ID problem (and allowing them to computer)

Someone else just posted a similar question, but this subject seems to be closed. I have ADE on my desk for several years. I don't use it often, but I had several books on what I liked. Now, I have a nook and will want to probably use more often so I wanted to update. My user ID was an old defunct e-mail address and I wanted to change my ID to an existing address to avoid confusion.

I followed the instructions in the previous post and using CTRL-SHIFT-D I deleted my old ID and then I entered a new. Now I see that I can not access my books and more I can not re - authorize my PC with the new code.

Now that I reread the people of other post, I see that the answer said that will happen, so I was warned, but I acted too quickly.  So can I do to fix this stuff? My books are lost forever?

Even if I lost my books, I would have this installed and working properly. Thanks in advance

PS also a separate issue. Is there a manual for ADE? Where do you find information on controls such as the CTRL-SHIFT-D, who previously said?

To read your books, you need to use your old ID.

If you still remember the password for it, he any too much he's using an old email.

You can Deauthorize your computer and it reauthorize with your old ID.

Remove all devices that you have authorized with your new id (ctrl-shift-E to ADE with connected device) and reauthorize.

If you want to change the autour emails so that the old ID is associated with your new email, you can change the emails for identifiers.  If you want to do, do it before reauthoizing your computer.

    1. You must first log on to your new ID on the web and change his email to something different (probably doesn't even have a real email, not sure).  Now forget this new ID forever.
    2. You then close the session and connect to your old ID on the web and change his email to your new email.
    3. Now you should be able to save computers and devices with you old ID but new email.

To change the e-mail associated with an id see http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/kb/changing-id-email.html

    1. Go to http://www.adobe.com.
    2. Click the login link in the upper right of the screen.
    3. Sign in using the existing email address and password.
    4. Click the user name in the upper right and choose my information.
    5. Change the email address (and the password if you like) and click
      save it my changes button.

If you have forgotten the password for the old ID and email doesn't exist like it, you need to contact Adobe support (live chat to http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html may be able to help)

  • Deauthorise all else fails to run

    Dear support team,

After a clean install of Windows my PC appears twice in the list of devices in iTunes.

In addition, iTunes says I have 5 authorized PC while I see that 4 PC items in the list (and of course my iPhone and iPad).

    1. can remove you the oldest instance of the PC that appears twice?

    2. can you let me know the 5th PC which is not in the list?

    3. If 1. and 2. are not possible, you can deauthorise my PC for me?

    Thanks in advance!

You are looking at two different things, the permissions of the computer and "manage devices" is separate (a little). Authorization, you cannot see the number, there is no a list which computers (iOS devices need not authorizing) are currently allowed to the account; the "manage devices" section lists computer, and iOS devices that are associated with your account (e.g. by redownloading past purchases, using automatic downloads, family, sharing, iTunes game, iCloud music).

1, 2, 3 - no, we are fellow users on these forums.
