Decommissioning of mobile current Pro, upgrade windows laptop new pro 8.1
Hello
I have a Toshiba laptop overheating 3 year, provided with 64-bit Windows 8.
I bought a windows 8 pro key and activated on this Toshiba. Then it runs Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
Now I just bought a dell that is bundled with Windows 8 Home 64 bit.
Can I remove the Toshiba key and do a factory restore on it?
So can I use the window 8 pro key on the new Dell laptop I just bought.
(I need Pro 8.1 to use hyper-v)
Thank you.
Amit.
Simply reset your Toshiba to its original factory condition and you will be free to transfer the key Windows Pro 8.1 elsewhere.
If the new Dell already has Windows 8.1 above, just follow these steps to upgrade to Pro.
Press the Windows key + X
Click System
On Windows, click the link:
Get more features with a new edition of Windows
Click on the "I already have a product key link.
Enter your product key and you will be promoted to the Pro.
The phone activation may be necessary:
1. press the Windows key + X , and then click run, and then type: slui.exe 4
2. then press the ENTER"" key.
3. Select your "country" in the list.
4. choose the option "activate phone".
5. stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
6. explain your problem clearly to the support person.

HP 250 G5: upgrade Windows 7 Pro for Windows 10 Pro with HP 250 G5
I bought the cell phone following the Friday (19/08):
http://store.HP.com/UKStore/merch/product.aspx?ID=ECC_BUNDLE_6082661&opt=&SEL=NTBI see from the description that it is said:
"Windows 7 Professional 64 (license and includes support for Windows 10 64 Pro). And further explained:
"This system is preinstalled with Windows 7 Professional software and also comes with a license and support for Windows 10 Pro software. You can only use a version of the Windows software at a time. Switching between versions you need to uninstall a version and install the other version. You must back up all the data (files, photos, etc.) before you uninstall and install operating systems to avoid the loss of your data. »
However, I received no media with the laptop. I know there is a guide on creating your own Windows 10 courses to http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04876361 installation media, but as it is an upgrade to Windows 7 Pro for Windows 10 Pro, and we are now outside the free upgrade window, I want to check if those who are indeed the right way ahead.
Thanks for your help!

Please go through all the material supplied with the computer. If you are unable to find the Windows 10 media, please contact HP Customer Support in your region for assistance.

Hello
Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.
There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.
Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.
If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Windows 8 Pro supports up to 192 GB of RAM, but you should check the manufacturers Web site to find out how much your HP can support. You can also go to http://www.crucial.com and use System Monitor to determine how much is supported.
At present, the only edition that you can buy an upgrade license is upgraded Windows 8 Pro, so there is no other choice.

I am owner of Dreamweaver 8 comes with Macromedia Studio 8. I'm getting worried about the age of the machine which is on. Is there a way to upgrade a laptop Windows 7 which does not involve a monthly rent and allows to work on the source code of my Web site completely offline?
Thank you. Last time I looked into things with the description "Cloud", it seemed to me that you either need to be logged to the software work (possibly validate the rental date?) and/or your content of current things was 'in the cloud '.
While I don't like the rental model, if I can make it work offline that may be an option.
Fortunately, the machine still works, so I have little time to decide. It is likely that my existing sites in Dreamweaver 8 will be compatible up with current versions?
