  I have a Toshiba Satellite U400-217, which is one year old.

  For some reason any lately the light on the media controls button doesn't seem to work - where he usually lit up the touchpad line and writing of Satellite.   Recently, I got my laptop A305D-S6848 Satellite of windows Vista to XP SP3. Everything works correctly and all pieces of hardware report that the proper drivers are installed in the Device Manager in Windows (no "yellow bang" or something like that). However, I noticed that none of my buttons to control media along the top of my keyboard do nothing more (with the exception of the button mute still works). I searched through the forums to find a solution to the problem (and I found a few relevant threads with answered questions) but unfortunately, none of the solutions have worked for me. Is there something that miss me in order to get functions of these buttons (drivers, software, etc..)?

  I have a Qosmio G40 for a few months and everything works well until now.
  The problem is related to the front control panel.

  If I use Windows Media Player, PLAY/STOP/PAUSE/FORWARD/BACKWARD buttons work well, but if I try to use the other buttons like REC (in any case) or turning on LEDS or DOLBY, the button makes the usual sound, but nothing happens, does not open any program that is supposed to open.

  So I recently installed windows XP on my Toshiba Qosmio G35-600 and I found all the drivers except two. If someone out there could help me find this would be great.

  (1) the first driver, I can't find is for the control of Toshiba above my keyboard buttons (I think that's what they are called). Quosmios have 12 buttons on the top above the F keys and currently only my power button, the brightness keys, up and down and the keys sound dolby work. The key analog TV, the Media Center button, play, stop, previous, next, check-in and s-video, the buttons do nothing more. It would be cool if I had again a s-video on the ability, but above all I want is the previous play and next buttons to work.

  (2) the second problem I have is with my built in SD card reader. A few times I thought I found the right driver, but after installing the SD card was not appearing in my computer.
