• How can I activate Javascript in Foxfire 29,0? Subject: config does not work.

  I just downloaded the most recent Foxfire available (29,0) in the hope that I can access my gmail account. But it still says "Javascript is not enabled. Subject: config does NOT display a preferences menu, so I can't turn Javascript on. I tried to download add-ons to enable or disable Javascript power, but they are not compatible with Firefox 29,0.

  Should I stop using Firefox altogether? I can't access my Bank, my credit cards, or my gmail accounts, nor can I access YouTube. It's what I use my browser-Firefox is more useful for me, unless you can give me a solution for this!

  Installer downloaded FP 10.1 for Mac 10.6.x, installed, does not work:

  • When visiting sites that require Flash player, makes me "download flash player.
  • When you visit Adobe trouble shoot site, where it shows the version of the flash game, it displays 'content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.
  • I.e.HD/library/internet plug-ins/flash player Uninstaller works can be deleted by the uninstaller

  What is a similar case with PC users? If Yes, could someone from Adobe please provide a solution as soon as POSSIBLE?

  Tab Mix Plus is a great add-on, I use it and love it, but it's a bit 'heavy' / large installation for just a single function. Tab Mix Plus performs several functions related to tabs and have many, many options that you can set related to tabs, including that your request.

  One add-on which is much smaller and intended to perform only one function, opening a tab with the page you specify, is new TabURL:

  • New TabURL: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/newtaburl/
  • After installation and restarting Firefox
    1. Open the options (Add-ons - > Extensions, click Options next to the new TabURL)
    2. Set your options or enter the URL that you want to open in new tabs
    3. Click "Save".

  I have a question where my home page has been changed to the Bing home page, and after I corrected it seems now that any time I opened a new tab, it goes straight to the Bing...
  I found a solution to this in another thread, but it seems to be incorrect for my browser.

  Don't know where you find this - searchinnewtabeenabledbyuser - pref pref invalid, does not exist by default. Could be added pref by an extension, for anyone who posted.

  Browser.newtab.URL is the pref you want - right click and select reset
  Then restart Firefox.

  The log file shows 1 fatal error:

  FATAL: Payload ' Photoshop Camera Raw 8_8.7_AdobeCameraRaw8.0All 8.0.0.22 with a number that follows.

  I tried to uninstall reinstall. Did not work at all, because the same problem appears.

  I have not installed in other folders. All other updates worked - but not this update. The problem seems to bee only caused by the Camera Raw update.

  Are there other people with the same problem? Any ideas?

  It seems I found a dirty solution, but work for my problem on this site: Getting fatal exit Code 34 when installing an application

  To change these 3 names of folders and reinstall my programs worked fine without error:

  Adobe PCD-> Adobe PCDold

  backup-> backupold

  Caps-> capsold

  Now, the programs are on the actual status with all the updates that are included and everythings looks fine.

• Firefox 7.0.1 cannot find all the NET pages, so it does not work!

  When you install Firefox 7.0.1 there not all NET pages, tracks and the tracks of the search but can't find. I had the same problem with the latest versions of Firefox 6, but then Firefox 7.0 fi worked. I tried to update 7.0.1 several times, the IFS and the United States, I uninstalled 7.0 first and then after reboot 7.0.1 installed several times, but always the same problem. I use Windows 7 Ultimate in Finnish.

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  You don't need the DNG Converter. CS6 is compatible with Camera Raw up to version 9.1.1 (the latest version with CS6 is compatible).

  Update Camera Raw to 9.1.1 via help > updates in Photoshop or download the 9.1.1 zip file of

  Once you have completed the installation 9.1.1, you will be able to open files Raw D610 in CS6.

• The printer page size setting does not work in Photoshop 5.1 with printer Xerox

  I am trying to print a size over 8.5 x 11 and Photoshop will not change the size, even if the setting of the printer is now in the largest size.  Illustrator and other programs will print but this Photoshop fails.  This is a problem in 32 and 64 bit versions.  Help!

  We have a Xerox WorkCentre 7435 PCL6, and I had a similar problem. I found a workaround in Photoshop CS5, I will describe where it is useful to others. I just upgraded to Photoshop CS6 however, and workaround no longer works with it. Instead, I get an error message if I print a report of the story of Job. The message is partially cut off at the right margin of the page, but the part I read says: "done with error(016-799): print educatio... failure detected in decomposer.» (The selection button indicates the part of the message that is cut off. What follows it appears on the next line down. I downloaded all updates to CS6 to see if that would help, but it didn't.

  Here's the solution that worked for me on CS5:

  1) click on "Printer setup" in the print dialog box

  (2) on paper in the drop-down menu, select 'Advanced paper selection.

  (3) select the status bar where your tabloid (or legal) size of paper is loaded

  4) click the button at the right end of the "Paper size" field to display the paper size dialog box.

  5) click on the down arrow button at the right end of the field 'Of the Original Document size' and select 'Tabloïd' (or 'Moral') in the menu.

  6) click OK to close each of the open dialog boxes until you return to the print dialog box and print your document. Print preview should update to show you a preview which reflects the selected paper size. (This can take a few seconds to arrive).

  It worked for me in CS5. Unfortunately, as indicated above, it doesn't seem to work on the CS6. The only solution I can offer for CS6 is to save the file as a PDF and print from Acrobat. It works without problem, but there are a lot of trouble to go whenever I need to print something other than letter size.

  If someone finds a better solution to workaround in CS6, let me know.

  The pref browser.newtabpage.enabled must be set to true to use the page defined through browser.newtab.url like the new tab page.

  Anyway, as a temporary workaround solution while we sort out this point, you can use the 'Skip' list: right click on the Firefox icon in the task bar and choose 'Open a new fenΩtre' that should certainly generate a separate window and not only a new tab in the existing window. Normally works?

  Firefox has a hidden setting that you might try to change to see if it makes a difference. Normally, when you open a link in another program, it opens in a new tab in the last window of Firefox, that you used. Your what's doing? I propose changing the setting so that the link must open in a new window to see if it has an impact on this problem.

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the filter box, type or paste link.o and make a pause so that the list is filtered.

  (3) double-click the preference browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external and set its value to 2 and click OK.

  The possible values for this preference are as follows:

  -1 = follow your settings in the Options for new tabs vs new windows (default)
  3 = open external links in a new tab in the last active window
  2 = open external links in a new window
  1 = open external links in the last active tab replaces the current page

  There are a few other similar named preferences, so be sure to change one that has 'external' in the name.
