  I can't get the option 'Require the change of password on first use' for an end user.
  I go to 'Manage the Application Express Users', enter and confirm a new password and choose Yes to 'Require change of password on first use', and then apply the changes. But still, it does not prompt the user to change passwords to log in. I also tried the account, then making the changes described above to lock and then unlock it, but which doesn't work anymore.   When an account has the attribute to change password on first use , the user is presented with the dialog box password change only after creating a new account or when the administrator of the site use the link "Reset" at home > manage workspaces > manage developers and users, causing the password be changed and sent to the user. Regardless of whether the account has the attribute to change password on first use , the user is also presented with the password change dialog box when the account has expired, following the expiration of the explicit account by an administrator of site or workspace or of time passing.

  In all cases, the requirements to 'change' the password is really just a requirement to enter the old password and enter a new password (twice), which may be the same as the old password, condition that is not inconsistent with history of password restrictions created for the workspace.

  Have you tried a forced reboot? Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

  Then sign out of the iTunes Store and reconnect.

• Problems of the change of password for my iMac

  I'm finishing the change of password for my iMac in early 2014 running on the latest version of El Capitan.

  When the opening up of the procedure is finished, I get a message in the upper right of the home screen of the iMac. The message says that I need to enter my new password to complete the amendment of the code of procedure. I can either click on "enter new password" or "delete" message. I tried to click on the two, but nothing happens except the message disappears.

  It's all quite strange that I have to use the new password to open the iMac for use and it recognizes the new password, if I try to change the password once more.

  Can someone tell what I am doing wrong or where I need to enter the password to complete the password change procedure. Thank you!

• 2 definitions of view based on the value of the table

  Is it possible to have 2 different definitions of each entry of 2 base tables display different, based on the value of the table?
  
  We have 2 tables with similar columns, one with historical and other data was only the latest / greatest according to yesterday (it is populated by ETL from mainframe). Changes made by the java application online is now going into the table containing historical data immediately, but edits made in mainframe comes to the table with the data current next day.
  
  There are 2 products, an is based on the last and largest of the historical table based on cre date and date of mod and other product relies on the table with the current data (not historical).
  
  Tried using joins for these two tables but the performance wasn't good and each product needs table data alone, and so I wanted to eliminate joins.
  
  We wanted to use the same name for the view from the metadata using the shared functionality based on the name of the view.
  
  Is there a way define a view under certain conditions?

  If the value for a particular parameter is 0 then
  
  Select c1, c2, c3 of < historical table > other
  
  Select c1, c2, c3 of < no history table >

  I finally made it through the PR and PFR controller (when a record is selected) methods.  It works, but I was looking for a hook in the what the VORow instances are created.  As thecreateInstanceFromResultSet method but at this time the transient attributes do not exist in the result set.

  I'm not able to get the following work properly;

  1. I have a scenario header / detail.
  2. Calculate a value for each row returned detail that I find. This calculation is done using an existing database to function.
  3. The function requires 3 input parameters.
  4. Two of these parameters can be retrieved in the detail row and one is a value which is on the header.
  5. I created a transient attribute on the object of the detail view and selected the following properties of the 2 attribute;
     1. Mapped to the column or SQL
     2. Selected in SQL
  6. I entered the following SQL Expression;
     1. function_name (DetailTableAlias.value1, DetailTableAlias.value2, ViewLinkName.value3)
  7. Running AOS that contains the objects of view header / detail, I encounter a SQL error which indicates that ViewLinkName.value3 is an invalid identifier.
     1. I can understand why this error occurs.
  8. If I change the ViewLinkName.value3 to a literal value, the error will not occur.

  So, my question is how can I pass the third parameter to the transitional attribute database function call as the value literal and not as a reference to one, missing attachments header table, column?

  Have you explored solve this by an inline SQL query to derive the 3rd parameter of the function? In other words, the problem in SQL instead of ADF.

  I think it's the | in the SQL that is causing the problem. You can get around this by the presence of a hidden page element which is calculated at the point of process before header which calculates the first day of the selected month.

  In addition, you can simplify your SQL statement to something like:

  SELECT LEVEL d, LEVEL r
  FROM DUAL
  CONNECT BY LEVEL <= TO_NUMBER(TO_CHAR(LAST_DAY(TO_DATE(v('P16_FIRSTDATE'),'DD/MM/YYYY')),'DD'))
  

  (P16_FIRSTDATE is the element that contains the calculated date)

  1. What are the files you are trying to access?
  2. how exactly you are trying to access these files?
  3 is confined to a specific folder?
   
  Check what is the file size by following the steps mentioned below:
  1. right click on the folder and click Properties.
  2. check if the file size is 0, if it is 0, this means that the folder is empty.
   
  It can also be a problem with permissions.

  Instead of OWA_UTIL. REDIRECT_URL, use the following API: APEX_AUTHENTICATION. LOGOUT

  Create a process after the process of change of your auto password:

  BEGIN
  
    APEX_AUTHENTICATION.LOGOUT (
        P_SESSION_ID  => :APP_SESSION,
        P_APP_ID      => :APP_ID,
        P_WS_APP_ID  => NULL );
  
  END;

• Connect on apex_admin led to the change of password request?

  I recently installed apex 4.2 on a database of 12 c. It seems to work at the time I installed it (about a month).

  Now, I logged in again (http://< host name >: 8080/apex/apex_admin), but after login, the only thing I see is "the password for this account must be changed." at the top of the page - the rest of the page is empty.

  I changed the password to admin with apxchpwd.sql but that did not help.

  So I actually can't connect more apex.

  How can I solve this?

  Finally, I found a solution to this problem:

  Conn sys as sysdba

  ALTER session set current_schema = APEX_040200;

  Update wwv_flow_fnd_user

  Set change_password_on_first_use = ' don't

  where lower (user_name) = "admin".

  I just picked up during surgery and allows us to replicate door data of gold. Unfortunately, the password for the user that has been created in the database for the Golden Gate has been lost.

  At the present time, processes are added and I was trying to connect but it fails with name of user and password invalid.

  Not a lot of consequences, if you have changed the password where you had used.

  1. you must change the password of user goldengate in parameter files where ever you had mentioned, as the extract file etc..,.

  2. If you used the password encrypted, you must re-create the encryption password.

  3. If you used a user Alias id, then you must change this too.
