  Hi all

  2 days ago, I had no problem recording audio or MIDI.

  Last night, I experience crackling or delay and later, Im experiencing them both at the same time.

  Signal chain:

  Electric cello > amp > MXL 990 mic condensor > AI USB Presonus > LPX 10.2.2 (patch by default cello)

  The steps I took:

  Close all unnecessary applications

  Changed all wires

  Portable battery powered

  AMPS has changed

  Away from the microphone modified

  gain adjusted on AI and instrument

  computer restarts

  Increased frequency of sampling

  Sampling frequency reduced

  When I lowered the sampling frequency, I get sizzles in reading.

  When I increased the sampling frequency, I get a serious delay.

  In the last 5 minutes, the 2nd cable would crackle when moved or registration, but my recording rate far

  peaked. This is a first for crackles when recording.

  PreSonus said that there are no drivers for their audio interface, just plug it in-game.

  Ive had LPX for 2 weeks and gave me more pain that GB has ever.

  It is a screenshot of my macbook today, with no devices connected. No audio reproduction. I/o is now built by default.

  I have a Select list with a couple of hundred values produced, in alphabetical order. The first characters of each value in the list is an identification code. In our society, that we know and make reference to our products by their identification codes, and we know them quite intimately. So instead of scrolling to find the ID that we want, we will often simply press the drop down arrow and start typing the identification of interest code, and the advance list automatically to the appropriate location.
  
  So let's say our identification code is CBX197. I hit the drop-down arrow for the field and start typing: C B X 1 and then I pause briefly after typing these four characters (somewhere between 1/2 and 1 second). At this time, these previous characters I typed are "forgotten", so that when I hit '9', hoping to jump down in the section CBX19 of the values, instead it jumps to the first code ID that begins with "9", as if I had never typed the first four characters at all.
  
  So the question is: that that the amount of time that typed characters are held in the drop-down list of controls buffering before being thrown out and is this amount of time something that we can control in Apex? I would like to be able to specify that the buffer is valid for x number of seconds.

• Does anyone else have a problem of lag with InDesign?

  Since I installed the latest update InDesign, I feel a shift (short waiting time) when clicking, scrolling, highlighting, etc. It happens at a rate that disrupts my workflow, so I now ask for help.

  Running InDesign 11.1.0.122 on a MBP OSX 10.10.5 running. Always have 2 GB of RAM open as well when I check my activity monitor.

  Thank you to lend a hand. I can confirm that the problem started after the update to the latest version of InDesign. I did some additional research and found that if I 'window' in the menu and then on the 'Application Framework' bar delay problems went away. Not sure why this works, but it has so far.

  I have an application to large scale developed with LabVIEW DSC, which covers multiple computers on a LAN.  In one of the VI I open variable connection shared by using the "open Datasocket' VI.  I notice that after restarting my computer and execution of this VI into the source code (I have not tried with an executable file yet) it takes about 20 seconds to get a successful connection to a variable share located on another computer.  The later 'Datasocket Open' claims the same computer to the same shared variable takes much less time, about 100 ms.  I reproduce this with 3 different computer, so the behavior seems to be reproducible, but it's not to do it every time but very often.  This scenario may occur also when I did not open a connection to another computer for awhile.

  Anyone have this experience? Is there something I can do all this to avoid this 20 seconds delay problem? Anyone have an explanation?

  All of my computers running Windows 8.1.  I'm using LabVIEW 2012.  All my firewalls are 'off '.

  Recently, I did this for another client. You can emulate a timeout (and actually connect faster) by using the function "open in background" and then checking the variable.connected? property.

• Printer continues to stop & requires the system restore?

  We noticed a delay problem where printer stop printing.  What happens with XP and Windows7, but they show different symptoms:

  With XP, the printer also show online.  However, to get anything to print.  It affects all users, is not corrected by updated printer spooler restarts, restart, change USB port, cable changes or printer resets.  No errors in the logs.

  With Windows7, printers go offline or completely disappear and stop the spooler.  You can restart the spooler and printers reappear for a short period, but they disappear in a few seconds.  As noted above, nothing seems to correct the problem.  It's just generic elements in newspapers, but nothing specific.

  The only thing that solves the problem is a system restore?  We can link to problems individuals patch.

  Does anyone else know this?

  The only thing that helps for XP and Win 7 is the system restore?  Looks like corrupted printer drivers (even though it's a bit strange that you experience on the two operating systems).

  Simply download and install a fresh printer driver is not enough.  You have to clean the old one.

  For XP, see His Article.  The critical step is step 4.

  For Windows 7, replace step 4 with the following text:
  Restart the print spooler
  Open devices and printers
  Select a printer (click only)
  Click the print server properties in the toolbar at the top of the window
  Click the tab drivers
  Remove the suspect drivers

  If you can not do what the above because the print spooler is not running, after return and specify which version of Windows 7 you have.

  I seem to have some problems with this new firmware update. I updated my firmware for my 4 GB fuze V1, everything seems fine, but when I click on the middle button or the 'right' button to play a mp3, especially the bigger file size ones (320 kbps), it lags of 1 ~ 7seconds and so only he plays. And selections from my (8 GB) memory card doesn't work anymore. How to solve this problem?

  I tried to format it before and after I update the firmware, but it won't work. I prefer the speed of scrolling, navigation limits and 8000 songs folder but the delay problem is not resolved. If it is small mp3 (128 kbit/s, 3 ~ 5 MB) it do not lag, but if it's a 320 Kbps mp3 (10 ~ 13 MB) it will be a great while trolling it. I've lived a horrible 5 ~ 6 seconds. Is there another way to solve this problem? None of you have this problem? BTW, if I go back to the old firmware the problem will be gone, but I need the browser folder!

  Possible there is something in the header of your files.  As ID3 v2.4 is supported, the "rocket" sees things that he previously ignored.  Try to use MP3Tag, a free utility, to clean up the tag data.

• Can someone help me with this special photoshop wacom lag that I have?

  So for about 2 weeks ago my friend gave me this task/update for adobe illustator, which was very good. Even after I used it photoshop started when I put my wacom in my computer, and I can't understand anyone trolling.

  There has been much discussion about Wacom Lag with Photoshop.  Trolling problems are not all the same. The Photoshop IMO was not designed as a painting application, designed for the treatment of the image and work on the actual pixels of images.  If you zoom in on a large document suddenly bush may be the effect of millions of pixels and Photoshop will treat each of them prior to the rendering of your zoom view.   An application of paint would all make the zoom view first and treat millions of pixels of the background.

  If you use a big brush with spacing of 1% on a zoomed on a long document view in Photoshop, I feel lag brush will be inevitable. So don't do no not that. If that is what is you problem.  However, there are other reported delay problems that users had a lot seems to have solutions.  Look through these discussions.

  I thought that I could transfer it here because it might be a more appropriate forum. I have a bit of time pressure, so I hope someone can help me. I'm having a problem with a program that I wrote to acquire and store images from a camera to linear scan.

  My camera (SUI Goodrich, 1024 pixels) is connected to a card framegrabber (PCIe-1427), which is connected via a RTSI cable to a PCI-6731 card attached to a SCC-68 (series) connector M.  My goal is to drive a mirror galvanometer scanning and acquire images from the camera continuously on each scan. As the galvo scan will be the frame of an image (1024 pixels x 1024 lines).

  I managed to do it (I think), as my direct purchase program works exactly as I expected. However, when I try to save the images, I noticed that for a larger number of images, the starting point of the image is shifted the same amount for each image. I'm not really sure what's going on, it seems to me that there is a delay in the use of the VI "IMAQ set up buffer" when a larger number of buffers is used, (or even 100). Is it possible that my hardware trigger does not wait for all buffers to be configured before you start to run?

  I would really appreciate any idea or ideas that anyone could have on this issue.

  I fixed the problem by doing that I don't use actually 1000 stamps to save 1000 frames. Program works if the number of buffers is lowered.

• Problem of delay time PXI-5105

  I'm running the PXI-5105 (@ 60Msa/s/ch 12 bit 8Ch) using the attached VI. I put it to trigger off channel 0 to 1V.  When I put in a sinusoidal waveform of cycle 5, it seems that the scope triggers too late and I only see 4 of 5 cycles.  I confirmed this by generating a sinisoid of increasing amplitude across a PXI-5412 and again once the waveform has been truncated, as if there is a delay after that relaxation hit.  (btw, I have an oscilloscope running in parallel and the waveforms appear perfectly here)
