Delays at startup process

Whenever I start I check the Manager tasks and there are processes that do not load immediately, takes about 10 to 20 seconds or more for them to load and under users in the Task Manager, my profile is also delayed and does not show immediately. It's strange, but when I unplug my ethernet cable from my computer and restarting, everything loads up immediately, as perfect. Could cause my internet connection this or maybe something that uses the interenet that delays my process and my profile to load?

Thanks in advance!

Since this is the first time mention mscorsvw.exe, I offer this for your perusal:

Why is mscorsvw.exe running in the Task Manager?

The mscorsvw.exe is .NET Runtime Optimization Service.

The mscorsvw.exe is precompiling of .NET assemblies in the background. Once this is done, it will go away. As a general rule, after installing the .NET Framework Redistribution or .NET updates (perhaps after an automatic update of Microsoft), it will work to recompile any high priority
assemblies.  When it's over, it stops running by itself.  It is best to just leave it alone and let it figure all it must do and finish without interruption.

Recompile the high priority updates might take a little while that according to the nature of the updates and the performance of your system.

When the high priority assemblies are made. He will wait until your computer is idle to complete processing of the low priority assemblies. It is best to just leave him alone and let him finish things by himself.

When he catches up with Finally, it stops automatically and you shouldn't see mscorsvw.exe in the Manager of tasks again until something else in your changes to install .NET (perhaps another update on another day).

One important thing is that while you can see 100% CPU usage, the compilation happens in a low-priority process, so he's trying not to steal the CPU for other stuff you do.

Once everything is compiled, all assemblies will now be able to share pages between different processes and start hot upwards will be generally much faster, so it's best just to be patient with him and let finish disappear by itself.

You can force and watch the compilation of assemblies from a command prompt by going to and location of each of your folders to install .NET and by entering the command:

Ngen.exe executequeueditems / verbose

If you have 5 redistributable from the .NET installed, you must do this for each of them and it's a pain.  There is another good reason to just let it take care of itself.

    Hello

Make sure you have the Superfetch service running and then try to speed up the startup using my guide [1]. This causes the prefetcher in Windows 7. This increase startup performance a lot. All other tweaking tools are useless. Use this method only with this Toolkit from Microsoft.

If it is not to speed up the startup process, follow my guide [2] to do a followed by start-up and compress the boot_BASE + CSWITCH + DRIVERS + POWER_1.etl RAR or 7z and transfer it to your Skydrive [3] and post the link here.

  • The startup process does not end and the system keeps restarting

From the time my system has been upgraded to El Capitan, I have a problem with the startup of the system. The login screen has horizontal lines. The system does not start properly and begins to restart before completing the startup process. After 10 or 15 attempts, the system starts. Only when the login screen appears without those lines, I know that the system should start. Once it starts, all of a sudden the screen freezes and system crashes too.  This happens usually when I try to open a large file, Powerpoint or Adobe Acrobat. Or the screen moves to the right and the screen freezes and I have no choice other than to restart the system.

Service center staff has stated that there is a problem of display driver and updated. But it's always the same problem. What could be the problem and how to solve?

  • Strange delay at startup Satellite 1800

I used my S1800-100 several times at startup without problem. I didn't have problems if I install the new (2nd) memory to the system not to boot.

But now, even if the system is to default settings (default factory memorry and there on the slot A), my system at too long startup delay. I was supposed to it does not start and I connect me on, but before that, he initialized successfully.

Why has it happened? Why my computer is delaying too long to start (I guess because of memories, but why)?
    Thank you.

    Hello

I think it happens because the second module of memory support a lower speed.
Did you use the same kind of module that first and it is recommended by Toshiba?

To my knowledge if the unit uses two modules, so it's a bit slower both modules will work with the slower speed and performance.
Therefore, it is very important that both modules are similar.

  • PID control with big delay in the process variable

    Hello

My goal is to control the temperature via a valve and heat exchanger. I proceeded variable (temperature) measured from a hose. This temperature should be raised a few degrees with a heat exchanger. So basically I need to order a valve that allows the water to flow through the heat exchanger to raise the temperature to the desired level.

My original plan was to use a base PID regulation to operate the dispenser. However, it is about 0.5 to 1 minute of delay time in the temperature probe after I opened the valve, which increases the temperature. This leads to a situation where the PID regulation valve fully open during this period (trying to get the temperature rise). Then once the temperature begins to rise it fires quite quickly. PID begins turning the tap off almost immediately, but because of the time delay in the sensor, the temperature exceeds seriously. This led to severe oscillation and at worst unstable processes. I tried to adjust the PID control to "predict" the timer to close the valve in advance to minimize the excess, but failed.

I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas how to make this type of control with Labview PID functions. I also wonder if there is a better type of control procedure for this scenario as a PID control?

    -Lars

This is a very common situation in the heating control, and generally PID can be adjusted to make it work. How do you do the tuning? If you do it by trial and errors, you have little chance to succeed. For a slow process with time delay, I like to use the method Cohen Coons, or similar open Ziegler-Nichols-loop method. The idea is that you temporarily remove or disable the PID. Set the valve in a fixed position and wait for the temperature to stabilize. Then, change the setting of the valve and record temperature at regular intervals data until the temperature is stable again to a new value. Use these data to get the initial values of PID using the equations provided by the tuning method you choose.

  • Hours of delays in startup programs

I put a few programs to delay of about 1 minute in the boot sequence. I do not remember how to get back to the box and reset them at startup from the startup.  I tried msconfig and that the system administrator with no luck...
I know it's easy, I can't for the life of me remember just how to do it.  Thanks for your help.

    Hi bigtopcc,

I will need some additional information to help you best.

O did you use third-party programs to delay the start up programs?

Ø what happens when you try to modify the settings using msconfig?

In the meantime, try the following instructions that might help you resolve the issue.

    1. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

Check whether the problem is resolved.

Please post back and let us know if it helped to solve your problem.

    Kind regards

  • Background Windows startup process

My problem is that I want to increase the performance of my computer by disabling the background processes as much as possible:

    (1) igfxtray.exe: this process runs my graphics (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver) driver.

    (2) igfxpers.exe: this process also manages the graphics with igfxtray.exe driver.

    (3) igfxsrvc.exe: this process works also at startup as well as others.

If I delete these boot process, I will have released and physical memory the CPU usage, but could also slow down my PC because they are drivers for my graphics card.

I will win performance if I delete these boot process? Also, is there a way to check my motherboard for my graphics card? (Because if I don't, I will obviously not need these processes)

If I can put an end to any process, please tell me.

I would like to deal with the changes of the performance to adjust your power options to a regime of power output instead of a default balanced power plan

  • Satellite 5105-S702 Touch ED error during the startup process

When I start my Satellite 5105 - S702 laptop with the v8.4.0.24 of antivirus from Computer Associates (CA) software is turned on, I get the following at the end of the boot process error message:

    Error affected

Recovery of the THotkey failed. "
    Part took place - TouchED.exe - (THotkeyFindProc)
    Function failed - FindWindow)
    Error code: 0 x 00031402, 0x00000002

However, when I disable the CA antivirus software and restart the laptop, I don't get the error message.

Thus, it would seem that the CA AntiVirus software causes this error message.

Would be grateful if someone could give advice if they have this problem with this laptop model, or the Satellite 5105-S701, or European equivalent model 5100-603, and how they have rectified it.

    Thank you

    Hello

    I agree with you.
In my view the installed (CA) anti-virus software is not fully compatible with the Toshiba Hotkey Utility or the software anti-virus doesn't recognize properly and can not handle.

CA anti-virus does not for me but maybe you could set some parameters to ignore the Hotkey Utility from Toshiba.

Maybe it helps if not I recommend you contact Computer Associates support team.

    (1) screen (such a list is recent project, etc.) stays entirely black, nothing is shown in it. I can always close the window by clicking the upper right X, only then the software is entirely funccional - I can load my project or create a new one using a file menu and I have not noticed any other question.

    (2) when I'm out of Premiere Pro, all windows normally but deal with "Adobe Premiere pro.exe" continues running, I can see it in the Windows Task Manager with his usual large amount of used memory resource - but it seems frozen and does not use CPU, at least not enough to be noticeable. I have to manually kill the process if I want to load Premiere Pro, once again, otherwise instance launching at all.

Two of these cases only since late November last updated, I've never seen him before.

    Premiere Pro CC 2015 - Compilation 9.1.0 (174) - French language

Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate edition

Core i7 860-16 GB RAM - GC AMD Radon 5700

Binary software installed on the Evo 840 250 GB Samsung SSD

    Thanks and greetings

After just a new reboot, these questions disappeared. Seems that some Windows 7 updates were not completed to the restart of the previous system. Thanks anyway!

  • CodeMeter USB caused a significant delay in the process of starting the BIOS on Z200

I use a dongle CodeMeter (CodeMeter) and would prefer to be permanently connected, however whenever I leave it in when starting there is a delay of approximately 2.5 minutes (Don't exaggerate not) just after the BIOS blue HP screen (a cursor flashes in the left corner). I use a Z200 machine. I disabled the boot to removable devices and this still happens. Also, if I get out the dongle CM put in USB storage devices common there is no problem (so it's something to do with the BIOS to interact specifically with the dongle). I don't have this problem on any of my machines Z800 (other machine Yes, but I don't think the BIOS that are very different).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Did. In any case, do not use a hub (ie. the monitor) solved the problem. Not sure what is the problem with USB hubs, but I'm going to call this sovled.
