• Cannot open Firefox even after deleting all files and profiles of school boards.

  My computer auto-installé the new Firefox version 40.0.2 (and later 40.0.3) and the browser does not open. It worked and I have not received any error message. I tried every fix I can find here, and even manually, I deleted all of my profiles, folders, program files, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my computer, and it still not open. I click on the Firefox button in my bar tasks, the charging symbol goes for a few seconds, then more nothing. Firefox opens and runs without any problems on other computer on computer accounts. I even copied the files of Firefox to the another computer account on which it runs and replaced all files on the computer account that Firefox does not on, rebooted and still nothing. I've been dealing with this issue for over 2 weeks now and am very frustrated because I spent hours trying everything I can find.

  This fix does not work either... tried previously and tried again. However I FINALLY got my Firefox to work on mine. I ended up finding a virus free online (ESET online scanner) scanner and do a full scan on my computer in order to remove anything that could cause a problem. I also went through all my computer programs and documents and cookies and temporary internet files and deleted everything which is not necessary or if it is no longer used. I thought it must be something else because Firefox has no problems with other users of the computer, and my original profile worked very well under other computer users when transferred manually. I think something was interfering with Firefox, which is why none of the fixes here worked because they targeted Firefox itself when it seems that it wasn't the problem.

  Hold down the Ctrl Key do randon emails selection > then delete.

  Hold down the SHIFT key, then click on the first email and you will select all the >, and then delete.

  Or click on the first one you want to delete > then hold down the SHIFT key > scroll to where you want to stop everything now shift key > click on that e-mail > between the two will be selected > delete them.

  I have windows xp & I tried to delete all the photo on my computer, including hidden files/picture and it will let me delete all the images at once.   I'm not asking why you want to or comment on the dangers of deleting all image files, but the following should do what you want:

  • Perform your search.
  • In the search results window, click View > Details (this is just a list of a column, which is easier to work with)
  • Remove files in groups: click once on the file at the top of the list, then scroll down a ways, hold down the SHIFT key and click another file.  All the files between the two files that you clicked on will be selected (including beginning and end files).  Press the delete key.
  • Keep repeating this in batches.  If you get an error message on a particular file, press the CTRL key and click on this file.  This désélectionnera her to the group.  Do not deselect multiple files in each group until the group will remove.
  • When you are finished, you have a few files flying over which cannot be deleted.  If so, after the names of file here and someone will advise you.

  If you set UP CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON, then you don't need separate steps to back up the control and the spfile.  In fact, I do not think that you don't even need to do. Any time that the backup is a backup of the table system (datafile #1) space, it will also create a backupset to include the control file and the spfile.  Try it yourself.

  Everything in your summary of the list 'backup' is already included in your backup of 'list '.

  I would add 'delete all entries "for the backup of the archivelogs. '.  If you do not, then eventually your archivelog destination fills. (Well, if you check in CRF, then it will delete archives when there need more space - if it can and do not compromise your position of recovery.)

  In addition, to overlap/remove expiration on safeguards, I would do the same for the archivelogs.

  Here is a workaround until Apple restores the Select All - deletion in 10 iOS feature:

  1. open the Inbox that you want to delete all

  2. tap on edit (top-right)

  3. press to select any email (this will allow the move feature)

  4. press on and hold 'Move' (down in the Center)

  5 now the 'Move', click to deselect the email from step 3 (you do this so all e-mails, not only the selected e-mail to move)

  6. release 'Move' (this will bring up a list of destinations to move your mail

  7. press on 'Trash' or 'Archive' to move all messages to the respective destination

  It's complicated, but a workaround, however.
