  You have to ask Apple why the design has changed. You should still be able to delete songs by changing your selection of synchronization and synchronize.

  Or you can delete songs directly on your iPad and other iOS devices, directly in the music app or via settings > general > storage & use iCloud > storage management > music

  I have manually manage music on my iPhone with iTunes.  I used to be able to select an album in iTunes and then drag it to the iPhone to add it to the iPhone.  The only way I can get the albums on my iPhone is now, right-click and select Add to the device.  Also, I used to be able to DELETE the songs off iPhone from iTunes.  Now when I select and right-click on several songs of the devices > iPhone > music section of iTunes, the only option I get is to add to the Playist...  I can't delete songs from my iPhone from iTunes.  Any ideas.  There must be a better way than the manual removal of the iPhone.

  Method 1:
  I would recommend you to rebuild the database of Windows Media Player and see if the problem is resolved.
  
  Here's how:
  To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

  2. click on start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

  I tried to read through messages and can't seem to find a way to do it. I'm not big on it like before I just used an ipod. I just got an e260 v1.  I have read and found out that I had to change my itunes in mp3 format I did.  Then, I downloaded Media Player 11 and got my songs on it.  Now I can't understand how to delete songs that I don't want the reader because I know that you can't do with v1.
