    Hello

I have buy new hp laptop 15-ac 122tu product: N8M18P #ACJ. I got the install window 7 32 bit but faces many problems of pilot. Now, I want to know what linux or other OS is compaitable with this modal which contains all the drivers and software required. Please tell me OS version also directives about the facility.

    Thank you

It came with FreeDOS, obviously. 32-bit Windows was not a good choice because of the unavailability of the driver and you have equipment that needs to run a 64 bit OS. There is no operating system that will "just work" without any configuration and drivers required. Windows 7 64 bit and more can be implemented with this site downloads and there are so many Linux distributions, it is impossible to discuss together and how to install them. Personally, I use Kubuntu and they just introduced 16.04 (Xenial) Long Term Support which would probably fit with very little after installation system requirements:

    http://cdimage.Ubuntu.com/Kubuntu/releases/16.04/Release/Kubuntu-16.04-Desktop-AMD64.ISO

This says AMD64, but is also for Intel 64 bit compatible processors which is yours. Download and use a burning program to create the file .iso image on a DVD-ROM finished installation disc and boot from it. Follow the prompts on the screen. If you install Kubuntu only default options works perfectly.

Let us know if you need more information. Your question calls for a test answer the length of a novel but we'll take it at the same time.

  • Transfer the Windows XP operating system to a new computer that has vista?

My new computer had Windows vista but it is destroyed by a virus, and I lost the drive of vista.
My old computer has Windows XP OS, computer is not usable, but I have the product key and the reinstallation CD. Am I allowed to install on the new machine?

If XP is initially pre-installed on your old computer: NO; You can not install it on another computer.

If XP was preinstalled on your computer, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

This also applies if you had a license OEM/disc you purchased yourself.

The license of XP OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a license of XP at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

A single license is a single Installation.

  • Where to find the product key on the Windows operating system?

Can someone tell me where to find the product key for my windows operating system? I was told that appears when you select "my computer > properties" and on the bottom of all these technical features, it is perhaps not the right code. Look for the sticker on the computer in question and use the product probably printed on that key.  (If a laptop - be sure to look under the battery - inside the battery compartment).

    Hello

First of all at the moment the Windows vista is not official on the market. AFAIK this lead on Windows Vista operating system will come at the end of the year or next year. Second, this unit was delivered with another Windows operating system. The Toshiba service partner can install your device only with the delivered operating system.

If I buy windows 8 (any OS windows) now and install in my computer and after a year when I change my computer, can I install the SAME operating system in the new computer?

You can if you buy a commercial box full of Windows 8 version.

If you buy a computer with Windows preinstalled, or a version OEM of Windows 8, 8 No, you can't.

If you buy a version upgrade, you can, as long as the new computer has a licensed version earlier of Windows on them.

I got a built-in computer, with what I believe to be a fake Windows operating system, can I download the one I have on this subject? How can I fix it?

If you believe that you are using a pirated copy of Windows it is strongly recommended that you reinstall an authentic copy. Technically, yes you can install your old operating system. However, according to Microsoft, you may not use the copy you have on more than one computer. You can buy a new copy of Windows XP.

Instructions on reinstalling XP can be found here.

I want to upgrade to a newer Windows operating system Windows Vista Home Pro 64-bit. What is the recommended procedure? I see that Windows 7 or 8, a free update to Windows 10 is offered. Should I buy 7 or 8 then you spend 10 or just buy 10?

    Thank you

    Hello

Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.

There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.

Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.

Microsoft sells more than 7; Try Amazon.com.

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

Follow these steps before buy you and upgrade (new installation) of Windows 8.1.

    Microsoft sells more than 8/8.1.

    Try Amazon.com, etc.

Check if the manufacturer of your computer/laptop has Windows 8.1 drivers available for your model.

If this is not available, Windows 8.1 not install and work properly for you.

There is a lot of information in this first link from Microsoft:

Download and run the Windows Upgrade Assistant 8.1 of to see if your machine is compatible Windows 8.1 and read the update for Windows 8.1: FAQ here

I have problems activating windows x 64 bits.

I reinstalled the operating system on the same computer multiple times, however, this time it is said, I'm 'cannot be enabled. Recently, I updated my motherboard and changed to a quad core. I would appreciate help from the administrator. Legitimately, I bought my version of Vista x 64 tiger direct for years and relied on it as my OS for a while now. Any live medium or other assistance, advice, etc., would be appreciated. This operating system has been reinstalled several times, and the last time I had to reinstall it is because I closed windows because he wasn't updated correctly, and then restarting the operating system has not yet worked so I HAD to reinstall. Now windows says that my code is already used. I'm ready to take pictures, show my keycode and do anything to get my system online. Vista is saying I need to activate within 3 days. Also, I have problems installing Service Pack 1. Which maybe has something to do with my questions? Please, someone help me!
