Try resetting Safari in this way. Close Safari completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    ACTION PLAN:

1: click on start at the bottom on the left and in the search box type start run and press on enter on the keyboard.

2: once a window open run type inetcpl.cpl and click ok.

  • Cannot delete Internet files in the search box.

I seem to be impossible to remove internet files that appear in the section 'drop down' in the search box. (By the search box, I mean one where you press F3 and it appears). I start to type Word on hover and press DELETE, but it will not erase. The history is quite clear.

You just deleted the history.  If you want to stop moving forward, that you have to uncheck the boxes above that make selected AutoComplete or new entries will continue to be added.  I should have mentioned that.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, we will have to make a few changes to the search index, but first let's see if it works.

    Good luck!

Looking at my history of folder in Windows 7, I see some files that no longer exist on my PC, but still appear in my story.  I would like to know how to get rid of them.  I tried to look in the internet options, as deleting the history of IE is the closest thing to you that I could find, but there is nothing there to affect the file Explorer.  Also, I couldn't find anything in the folder for this options.

    3. Select folder options.

  • Deleted mail Guard reappear in my box in apparentlt randomly

I frequently receive advice I have new mail only to find that new mail is actually mail dating back to a few days or a few weeks. This can be 1 mail or several emails, maybe up to 30 and is a real nuisance, any advice most welcome, thank you. This alone affecting Thunderbird, not Bell / Sympatico.

Deleted messages may reappear if the folder has not often been compacted.

If you compact your folders regularly, can slow performance to a crawl, you cannot store new messages more, begin to lose parts of messages, or deleted messages resurrected.

Suggest you move all good emails out of the Inbox to other folders appropriate to the organization.
Then, delete all the emails you want.
Right-click on the Inbox, and then select "compact".

    Then empty the deleted folder.
Also empty and compact the junk e-mail folder.
