How to delete an email in the g-mail inbox. How do you remove it forever? Where is the trash section?

Go to Gmail > settings > General settings > Archieve and delete actions > select 'delete only the show '.
Now jjst swept on the message you want to delete in the Inbox.
Open a menu, moving from left, it is scroll down and find "garbage."

    Thank you for taking the time to help. I have thousands of emails to gmail that I continue to delete. I have configured thunderbird for this e-mail account and it's sunchronized and up to the date. If I delete the mails in gmail now, I don't want have disappeared them from thunderbird. Basically, all the mails that I remove to the gmail trash and is it shouldn't be deleted from thunderbird. Please let know us on what measures should be taken. Thank you once more.

  • Messaging cannot send email via gmails

    All of a sudden I can't send emails using gmail accounts but normally receive emails and all emails sit in the Outbox.  With other messaging portals, such as outlook, yahoo, etc., they work very well.  Can someone Advisor to diagnose the problem.  Thank you!

    Open connection doctor in Mail and verify that the server is OK.

    Open the Mail preferences and Accounts tab select the account Gmail and account information tab, verify that you have the correct SMTP in the area. If so, disable the account, and then turn it back on. Test again and see if it works.

    If it still does not work, turn off the new account. Open Keychain preferences and delete the passwords for the gmail server. Return to the Mall and re - activate the account and test.

    If all else fails, delete the account. Open Internet accounts in system preferences and make sure that the account has been removed. Add the account back and test.

    I have windows 8.1 on my laptop.  I have never create accounts user, simply followed on the screen when I first put in place.

    I have to delete the email account I used as principal when I set up the laptop.  It is something I must do and do not want to discuss the reason.

    I have since put an e-mail account different as main and replaced the original by an alias.

    If I simply deletes the account Gmail offending what effect will that have, if any, on my data and if all apps will be deleted or inaccessible please tell me that these are the apps.

    As you mentioned that if you delete the account, Gmail will it affect you data or applications. No, if you remove the Gmail account, you will not lose anything.

    If you want to synchronizes and want to use Microsoft app like email or calendar app, you must use the Microsoft account so that it syncs, no apps will come off.

    Help! I'm new to all this, so any help is appreciated! Here's my problem:

    Domain purchased from GoDaddy, threw up a space reserved for jpeg and put in place of emails using gmail. Everything worked well.

    I designed a site in Muse, unhooked the jpeg via Godaddy and am now hosting site via Business Catalyst. Now when I try to send an e-mail to this address, it gets a return with this message:

    Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    [email protected]

    Technical details of permanent failure:

    Google has tried to convey your message, but it was rejected by the server for the domain Recipient consigningwomensc.com by mx.consigningwomensc.com.cust.b.hostedemail.com. [64.98.36.4].

    The error that the other server returned was:

    554 5.7.1 <[email protected]>: recipient address rejected: user [email protected] does not exist

    I can connect to gmail and send from this account (I am the administrator), but I can't send to THE account without having a rebound effect.

    Can someone throw some light or tips for the same problem before my customer review!

    The consigningwomensc.com field is a new delegation to BC and MX records are configured to point to our mail servers (which is invalid because you can create email accounts in the sites of free creative cloud like those who are webBasics) and therefore the email bounced back as the e-mail account does not exist for our purpose.

    I think you are using Google apps for your e-mail accounts, so you need to do here is to connect to your site admin and delete the current MX record and re-create the MX via the tab more shares while choosing 'Use your Google Apps account for email'.

    You're both using the same account. No matter what each of you don't will be reflected on all your devices. To stop this see:

    Try resetting your e-mail account. First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider, click the account, and the blow to remove. Then restart the unit. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

    There is a delete button on a regular basis on the toolbar so I guess that you do not see the toolbar.

    ALT + v, toolbars and tick the boxes.

    However if you select one or more email messages (you know how to select multiple items)? then the keyboard delete key is zap them too.

    I had my email "[email protected]" pirate. I deleted the email address on the ISP e-mail server and created a new email "[email protected]" - without the H immediately after John.

    However, every time I try and send an email, Thunderbird ask again me the password to the original email.

    Enter the account settings.

    Select the new address to be the default.
    All at the bottom of the list of accounts in the left side is account Actions.
    Under this menu is to set as default.

    FYI: The display of your e-mail is that a public forum is the best way to provider of this info to hackers. I edit this info and refrain from publishing personal information in the future.

    You use the methods of standard selection on the computer.

    control + a = select all

    Click on message 1, up or down several messages and hold the SHIFT key while clicking on the message 2 = selects message 1 and 2 and everything in between

    Hold down the CTRL key while clicking random messages = SΘlectionner any message clicked on

    Hold down the CTRL key when you click on a selected message = deselect this message

    Nope bad idea. Most of the sender addresses are people like you and me. So it would create a worse mess than we already have. Unsuspecting individuals would be spammed by sending you your recycled spam folder.
