    Original title: icon problem

I have a window vista. I deleted this toolbar at the top of my computer. I don't know what it was called and I can't find it in the trash. You could scroll your mouse over it and was like icon painting, office microsoft, internet, media, etc and you can click on and it could pull up. I've lost.

This top toolbar is not a system owned by Vista software

If you have a Dell computer or laptop it is part of the Dell software installation and it is called the Dell docking station.

Look under all programs, and then under Dell software to make it download it from here:

PS Other manufacturers include similar options too, so if it is another manufacturer, ask them.

  • delete, disable, remove the guest user account

I came across a lot of similar questions asked about deletion/deletion/disabling guest user account. the posted questions earlier and google has not provided me with answers specific questions.

first of all, I know now that the guest user account is a system file that should not be deleted.
    1. Why is this?

I enabled/activated the account invited for a day and people with mobility reduced/turned off later. I asked before and got a response that I should not have allowed the first guest account.
    2. Why is it?
    3. What's the harm in having activated once the guest account?

the record of the guest user now appears in the c:\users\ location. It was not before but the fact now since that once I enabled guest account.
    4. do one thing 'ok' or is it a bad thing?
    5. What are the policies on the restoration of windows and system folders without having to reinstall the windows operating system?

    and finally
    6. in case the guest user account has been disabled/disabled, windows remove settings for it and wipe this account?

Thanks in advance, forward your answers.

A guest account allows people to have temporary access to your computer. People using the guest account cannot install software or hardware, change settings, or create a password.

Once the guest account is enabled, you will see the comments folder in the users folder and you will not be able to remove it. And when also disable you the folder of comments will be present, but it will not be enough space.

If the comments have saved any file on your computer, it will be present in the folder of comments, it won't cause damage to your other user accounts.

For more information, see the following Microsoft article and check if that helps.

    What is a guest account?

    Hope the information is useful.

  • TabGroups Manager use/uninstall deleted view - toolbars - tabs on the top menu.

After using the TabGroups Manager addon for a short period, I decided to remove again. One of the options that it allows him to use tabs on the high function, I was using. He puts his own groups of toolbar in the title bar, but it seems buggy, so I removed it, with tabs on top still operational. I had been using it via the main menu, by using Alt-V-T-T. After you remove TabGroups Manager according to the normal procedure, from the extensions page and restart, I realized that I had tabs on top and went to restore it, but the element is missing from the menu. I don't know any other way to change this, but the biggest concern is that the menu items have been removed at some point. Please could you tell me what may have caused this and how to restore the option.

The status bar is no longer used in current Firefox releases and is replaced by the add-on bar (view > toolbars).

Current versions of Firefox only show the menu entry "Tabs" at the top menu "view > toolbars" and "Firefox > Options ' and in the shortcut menus toolbar if the tabs are not in the default position on the top.

If the notches located on the top and the menu entry is not available and you want to move the tabs under the navigation toolbar, then you have to toggle the pref browser.tabs.onTop false on the subject: config page.
A restart of Firefox is necessary for updating the menu entry to display or remove.

Note that this pref will no longer effect when the code Australis lands on the output channel (which will be in Firefox 29,0).

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you are using the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu.

Some entries in the View menu and history have been deleted to clean up the UI, because studies showed that it was low-use items.

On Windows and Linux, these were already hidden when serve you the mouse to enter the bar of menus and only appeared when you used the keyboard.

You can click on the button Home (far-right on the Navigation bar) or the keyboard (Alt/Option + Home).

You can find backward, forward and reload from the context menu in the navigation area or the use of the buttons on the Navigation toolbar.

  • deleting disabled extensions - no button

With the most recent updates some extensions have been disabled because they are incompatible, but there is no button on the extension to remove it. Why? How can I remove it?

Extensions that do not have a "Delete" button are installed by other software and are not under the control of the Firefox extensions Manager.

The extensions installed that need to be deleted via the settings (Preferences) in the program that adds the extension of Firefox.

  • How can I permenently delete a toolbar

I recently downloaded a software called jZip and at the same time, jZip has also placed a toolbar on my desktop. When I run Firefox it always default search engine and the toolbar of jZip. How can I remove jZip completely from my computer. I already deleted the software from the Control Panel, but still the toolbar and search engine.

Here is a screenshot of topic: config. I have installed Jzip, so I used Google for example.

All entries in Jzip will be in bold. Bold means essentially that they have been modified by the user or the user has installed by something.

By clicking on them and choose reset from the menu, as shown in the screenshot, return you the default values of Firefox.

Obviously, you don't want to just reset the value called keyword. URL because this is the one that determines which search engine is used. Then follow my instructions above to change this to Google.

If you don't know how to, please say so and I'll create some screenshots more for you.
