Deleting Email downloads blackBerry smartphones

I often download attached doc and XLS file to my Storm I can then open it with the applications 'Documents to Go '.  Over time these files are no longer needed.  How to delete the memory of my Storm?  I can delete the recent history, but the file is still resident on the device.  How do I remove it from the device?

Icon media > Menu > Explore > Browse to your folder (Documents?) those who are in and highlight and Menu > delete.

    Hi all.

I got connected to level 3 of my email IMAP for the Blackberry Internet Service accounts and everything works fine with the sending and receiving of emails.  My question is whether it is possible to force a download to my Blackberry to all the old emails in my accounts.  For the moment all I see are the emails received from confugirng accounts.

    See you soon

    David

You can not download emails before setting up the account of the use of the BIS service.

  • Problems of email to blackBerry Smartphones

    I'm unable to access e-mail.

After entering my user and password, it indicates there is a problem and suggest you contact gmail.com.

However, I am in the right username and password (works on other devices very well) and it was working properly before.

    How to remedy?

    Thank you

OK... and what was your result of the search of the public data base KB? I found this... may or may not apply to your situation, but give it a quick glance:

    • Article ID: KB12288 Impossible to integrate or validate a Google Mail with BlackBerry Internet Service account

Otherwise, with a strong support network signal (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Deleted mailbox of blackBerry Smartphones that appear in the messages folder

I have a Bold 9900. I deleted my boxes to the letters but its always appearing in the Messages folder. Its so annoying can someone please help :-(

Still confused, because I do not see you. By "record", I assume you mean the separate E-mail icon that was created when you went ahead and created the email account this time again? When it works correctly, you have really no duplicates - instead, you have the same email showing in two different places... one 'mirror' of the other, in a sense.

But in fact should not do, however, so I'll notify then what do you is of (please, this time, to do this and nothing more!):

    1. Remove all THE email accounts of this device
    2. Perform a battery pull reboot
    3. Drive again the steps of the post 4 above (this time, however, please tell me that "done you these steps"... Please confirm each step translates exactly as I indicated above)
    4. Delete your database of Messages (note that this will delete probably all messages, including SMS history... you have to be careful because you realize this)
      • KB10167 How to clear data from the BlackBerry Smartphone user
    5. Perform another batt-pull reboot
    6. Now return to your email on your device and see if now works normally

  • Problem with email notification blackBerry Smartphones

HIII everybody... I use bb9320curve with os 7.1, until a few days back everything worked well, in my opinion if it was my friends or community mailer. Then due to several reasons, I disabled my internet connection for a week, now, even once, I enabled the internet, I received a message that in 20 minutes I start receiving my notifications by e-mail, but nothing happened. I have not received all messages on my phone (but a lot through my Inbox in regular line).  I tried to reboot, perform a hard reboot by removing the battery while on and so far nothing has worked. Then I get notifications only when I receive by email from the community forum of bb not other e-mails that are my friends, I know it sounds crazy, but that's what happens. Can anyone suggest me the solution.

    Hello!!

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. • Emails from blackBerry Smartphones do not sync with Outlook 2010

Hi all. I just built a new PC with Windows 7 and Office 2010. My old PC run Win XP and Office. When I open Outlook (XP) my emails removed themselves from my BB 9320, but this does not happen with OL 2010. Can someone advise please.

    Kind regards...

Help me understand... you want all of your removal from the BlackBerry emails when they are downloaded into your client application to Outlook?

In your configuration, Outlook, value on the function to delete emails from the server after downloading to Outlook.

This isn't a matter of BlackBerry, but one of Outlook.

    So no idea?

  • Emails from blackBerry Smartphones retaining on the mail server

I just got my new storm and love it.  I use an e-mail account personal via Comcast which is linked to the storm.  Is there a way to change the configuration of e-mail on the storm so that it does not delete emails from the comcast email server, when they are sent to the storm?  I also use MS Outlook at home to keep my emails managed at my office.  I know that in Outlook, I can choose to not delete mail from the server after downloading and want to be able to do this on the storm so I can drop later in Outlook on my PC.

    Thank you.

Access the Messages. Then press the Blackberry menu button to get the menu message. Go to Options. In the E-mail Options for reconciliation.  In this menu, you should find an option delete on.  Specify this Handheld.  Then on conflicts, the value wins box mailbox.

If I remember correctly in the web based Blackberry server personal email to installation site, when you email account settings, you should be able to dissable the possibility to allow the Blackberry to delete the contents of the email from the server.

I think this should do it for you.

  • Emails from blackBerry Smartphones endangered since the handset

I use BIS and in the last two months emails started to disappear out of my blackberry handest. They disappear usually within 45 minutes of receipt.

I did a hard reset and I have about 160 MB of free memory, but it still keeps happenning. I use Outlook to check my email, but this happens even if my computer is turned off while Outlook is not running.

Thus, your Yahoo email is reconciled with its web server.

Which means, if you download this email in Outlook, and your Outlook settings to delete email from the server, it will inturn also remove on your BlackBerry handheld.

And, if you read or delete this e-mail in your Yahoo webmail, it will inturn also being marked read or deleted from your handheld.

Together check where you set your email, to disable the removal of e-mail.

And on your device, you can access your Messages > Options > Email reconciliation and extinguish the reconciliation.

  • Download blackBerry Smartphones email

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have a new blackberry pearl 8100.  I set up both my email accounts, but I would like to know if there is a way where I can set up my phone to not download all my messages automatically, because I want to only upload when I'm away from the office, otherwise the plan I took (3 MB) is going to kill my budget.

You can turn off the data, go to the menu, manage connections, mobile network, data services, OFF change options.

But remember, if you delete all the messages on the server, when you enable data again all the messages the server goes to your device.

  • Email configure blackBerry Smartphones and delete forever business account

    Hello

    I have 12 blackberry 9720.

They have been somehow configured to work as a business smartphone.

Now the company wants to reject the old Blackberry Service Administrator.

I can't set up any kind of e-mail on these phones.

After several resets factory they continue to ask for a business email account.

Is it possible to set up a simple gmail account on them?

Better yet, is it possible to manually set the old account? (I can do this on a samsung or on an iphone).

Whenever I try to configure one of them that I make you to configuration-> email account-> and I can only activate a company account.

I want to just configure emails.

    Hello

    Assuming that you have:

    • The devices removed from BES/DOWN
    • Passed under the carrier on each device BES to BIS account

Then the devices should have ' Personal/Internet' showing on the screen. Note that the company will always show up on this screen, no matter what. But it is only useful for devices in a BES environment. For non - BES, you need a plan BIS of data by the carrier in order to activate the exclusive services of BB (which includes the e-mail handling on these devices inherited from BBOS). And, if the data carrier account does not exist OR if it does not BIS, then the screen will show exactly as you describe, and email does not work on the device.

    Good luck!

  • Changed default Email/calendar blackBerry Smartphones; Sync wants to delete all appointments/events; Need of procedure

I'm changing my email address.  I want to change the default settings on my BB Storm so that it syncs with the new email/calendar in Outlook 2007.  There are 3 e-mail addresses and therefore 3 calendars showing in my BB.  Originally, I created an aol.com as the default value.  Now, I want to change to the new.  All of this is through Blackberry Internet Service through Verizon Wireless.

When I changed the default on the BB to the new address, the synchronization process wanted to remove all calendar entries that were introduced through the original e-mail/calendar.  I don't want to lose all those entries in my BB or in Outlook.

I need a procedure that will allow me to keep or to import all calendar entries, once I made the switch.

    Currently, the following conditions:

    Windows Vista 32 bit

    Outlook 2007

    By default the calendar/E-mail: ***@aol.com

I want to change default calendar *@rootbeertogo.com

I can't see clearly how to proceed.

    Advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Gary

    EDIT: Delete address

    SOLUTION

After some additional research and experimentation, the following procedure will ensure that you don't lose an event in the Outlook calendar:

FIRST OF ALL, SYNCHRONIZE WITH YOUR EXISTING

SECOND, MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR OUTLOOK PST FILE AND YOUR BB DEVICE!

    INSURANCE...

    For planning

    1. on the BB, select Options, Advanced Options, the default Services

2 Click here to see what e-mail and calendar emal address is currently being used.

    3. check if you want to change the figure in both lists, but do not choose another at this point.

    4. open the calendar.

    6. press the BB button.

    7. Select Options in the menu list.

8 observe the colors that are selected for each of the email addresses that you use on your BB.

    9. you will then need to this information in order to know what are the events to remove.  They are color coded in your BB calendar device.

    10. you can choose different colors if you wish by selecting each address in turn.

    Now, to the Walkthrough:

    1. in the BB replace enamel favorite default one (other) for the two calendar and send here:

1A by selecting Options, Advanced Options, default services

1B. Select the new email address for the calendar and messaging services.

1 c. Save as you go out.

    2. connect your BB to the computer.

    3. when the BB Desktop Manager opens, select Synchronize

    4. during the synchronization process, the only element which should need confirmation is the calendar.

    5. when the synchronization of calendar appears, you will be asked to accept, reject, cancel or re - sync calendars.

    6. choose Resync that will perform a resynchronization complete merger of BB and Outlook calendars.
