Deletion of folder WindowsImageBackup.

I have a HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC running Windows 7 SP 1 with all updates installed.

I would like to know the best way to remove a system Windows from my external HARD Drive Image backup.

I used this option in windows, once a long time ago and now I use a different program for backups so I no longer need and uses 184 GB of space on my external HARD drive that I use for all my backups. Can I just delete the folder WindowsImageBackup?

Hello

Yes, you can just remove it.

Kind regards

Just to let you know, I'm not that great with computer talk so would appreciate any help being relatively simple if poss. Cheers.

If you have not yet closed Firefox, just open the library window and use organize > Cancel.

If you have closed Firefox, restore a backup of bookmark to before this is deleted.

  • How can I delete a folder?

I have a few files that I need is no longer. When I try to delete them, I get this message:
The current order has no success. The e-mail server for the XXXXXX account replied: [can't} rename not supported in any of the conflicting directory permissions.]

    What does that mean?

I think it must be an IMAP account, and when you delete a folder, it means that a request is sent to Thunderbird to the server to delete the Junk folder.

Different systems use different rules for file names. Your server may have a bug, or it may deleting the folder generated a name that already exists, or which is not allowed. It is difficult to say.

It may be easier to go to the website of your email provider, log in to your webmail it and delete the offending like that record.

  • How to delete a folder of files on my sidebar to e-mail?

My screen has a vertical sidebar with the new message, Inbox, drafts, etc, etc. One of the topics on this subject is records, and which is used to thread emails. I know how to add a folder under this heading, but how do I delete a folder? (If I highlight the name of the folder and click on delete, the text is deleted, and I am asked to provide another name, which of course is not what I want.)

Some files you cannot delete, but to remove it just click with the right button of the mouse on the file and click on remove

  • Can I delete the folder titled "Old data from Firefox" which appeared on my desk?

About the old folder of Firefox that strangely appeared on my desk - then - I delete it? I like a clean house. Didn't read where someone asked this question and got an answer. He has been there since March 10, according to the properties button. I just noticed it. But I don't want to delete something where I can lose the extensions or something else. If it is just a backup, can't just get rid of him. I don't know what to do with it anyway.

If you have not noticed any missing data after reset of your, you can delete this folder, but I think that it would be better to archive somewhere where it doesn't bother you. Perhaps to create a balance of things folder you will empty on new year if you don't need then.

  • Will I lose my music/videos if I delete my folder "downloads" after I transferred to my iTunes?

I want to delete all my music and video files in the folder "downloads".  I transferred all these files to iTunes but will I lose the music and videos if I delete the folder "downloads"?

The normal behaviour for iTunes is to put a copy of media that you add manually to the correct iTunes media folder, so in theory, you can remove these downloads.  If you want to double check you can right click on the item in the iTunes window and > show in Finder to reveal the real iTunes file uses.

You can restore the photos of the recently deleted items folder? I have an iCloud back for my iPad that I restored it that would have photos on them but then sync with my current iCloud files. Can I restore the last backup of iCloud?

The backup to iCloud for an iPad does not include items that are already in iCloud, your iCloud stream library and my photos are not included in the backup to iCloud.

  • Can I delete my folder "music" once that my music has been added to iTunes?

I just make the switch from a PC to a Mac and I'm currently putting all upward. As someone who has never used iTunes before that I have a simple question:

I had a music collection of reasonable size on my PC in a folder called "music". I copied this entire folder on a hard drive external and then pasted on my new iMac tab music in the finder. Then I started iTunes and added the majority (but not all) of the music in the folder "music" from my iTunes library. Am I right in thinking that iTunes actually another copy of all my music in the iTunes folder, which means that I now duplicated a lot of music? If he made a copy, can I now delete the folder "music" original? I took care until I copied it all from my PC that all of my pieces is in MP3 format only, not WMA at all.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you.

Am I right in thinking that iTunes actually another copy of all my music in the iTunes folder, which means that I now duplicated a lot of music?

If you have the default settings, the answer is probably yes.  To be sure, right-click any track in iTunes, choose 'Show in Finder', and you will see what copy of a song file iTunes uses.

If you have another copy of the song file, iTunes didn't need, and you can remove at your discretion.

  • If I delete a folder in Albums, it removes all images?

    Hello-

I'm new on Photos and have a basic question.

I have a bunch of folders (I brought opening) in my iPhoto (under Albums in the left navigation) events file and folders in folders.

    For example,.

    > events iPhoto folder

    > Folder of stuff Bob

    > Sports images folder

I was just wondering, if I delete the 'Pictures of Sports' folder, pictures:

-delete the folder pictures of Sports, but keeps all the images (and again I could find them in Albums-> all Photos)

-delete the folder images of Sports and all the images that are ONLY in the folder images of Sports

-delete the folder images of Sports and all the images contained in any folder (I think that the same image can be held in several folders, but I don't know if in this case the application makes copies of the file, or if they are just pointers?)

    Thank you!

If you delete a folder, the albums inside this folder will also be deleted. Trying to delete a folder, you will see this warning:

But the photos used in the albums will remain in your photo library and still be visible in the Moments and all the Photos album.

As in Aperture, albums, and smart albums using photos of the library, but a photo can be used in many albums and detached from the album does not remove it from the library.

    Known issue see: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/951847/en-us
Known questions question 1 after installing the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 in Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, there is an arbitrary folder that is generated at the root of the C drive. This folder contains two subfolders named amd64 and i386. These two subfolders include the following files:

    • Filterpipelineprintproc.dll
    • Msxpsdrv.cat
    • Msxpsdrv.inf
    • Msxpsinc.GPD
    • Msxpsinc.PPD
    • Mxdwdrv.dll
    • Xpssvcs.dll

These records were waiting to remove from the XPSEPSC installation. Solution to resolve this issue, delete the folder manually.
