• Dell 2335dn Scan Manager opening PDF Documents

  We just bought a 2335dn to scan of files in a folder on our server, it works fine (except for the horrible menu interface). We have a problem that after each scan it opens the scanned document on the server that we don't want. We want other people on the network to have access to move/rename the created PDF documents. I checked the Scan Manager software and I can't find any option to do not open the scanned documents. Does anyone have any ideas?

  After looking at the Scan Manager I found under the directory you place in, (location) recording if you click on the Browse button and open the page of the dialog box you will find on the bottom a box to tick you can either open the document after (I think that by default) or not.

  Uncheck the open document after scanning, you should be good!

  Yes you can use glass to scan both sides, but to do this, you will need to analyze 1 side (part 1) at the time, and then return the document to scan the 2nd face.

  Where are drivers Windows 8 for the Dell 2335dn?

  I finally got this working on my computer Windows 8.1.

  First of all, download that Win7 both Win8 application installs Kiran links in this support thread.  Then, run the Setup program to install the drivers and application of Win7 which includes the scanner driver.  Finally, run the program installation to install the Win8 application and drivers, which will overwrite the binaries of Win7 and install the good printer drivers and application Win8 (although the scanner driver missing at the start of the installation of Win7).

  That leaves me with features both the scanner and the printer working on my machines from 8.1 to win!

  I recently bought this printer and used without problem for almost 2 months. However, right now I am struggling with the ADF.

  When I put a document to scan by ADF, I have a thin, black line on re-impressions. It is on the right side of the page, starts from everything at the top and goes down all the way.

  I have even if it is a kind of alignment line (you know when we write try, or its composition, leave us space on both sides)

  This problem does not exist when I scan and print documents of old school way, aka analysis usual. Only the ADF documents'ed have this problem a little. (The thin black line on things reprinted)

  Any recommendations?

  What Officejet are you talking about? The 7640 want is unable to scan duplex automatically. Software won't work because it has no equipment to do. You must do this manually after scanning the first side (it will give you instructions to put original right way).

  Sorry to inform that x476dw model only support scanning two-sided (2 sides) up to letter size but it support simplex (1 side), scanning up to legal size.

  I suggest you to analyze manually with the help of flat, if you have only a few pages. But as you mentioned above, you often need to scan > 40pgs double face of legal papers. One way is to digitize the odd pages and even pages separately and try to use 3rd party app for example Pdfsam (www.pdfsam.org), basic version is open source (free to use) to merge the 2 files into 1.

  1. Load your stack of documents by normal with the first pages (pg 1, 3... 39) facing upward on the Doc feeder, ADF
  2. Analyze the stack of papers in pdf & registered as 1 file
  3. Flip & organize your stack of papers since the last GP from (pg 40, 38, 2) meet in AAD
  4. Analyze the stack of papers in pdf & registered as 2nd file
  5. Start of Pdfsam - use the "Different mix" standard Plugin to merge the 2 scans
  6. First select 1 file by the 2nd file tracking
  7. Select 'Destination output file' and 'Run' to merge to a full "duplex" scanned PDF.

• LaserJet m276n mfp 200pro: ADF scanning not scanning the whole page

  I'm trying to scan documents using the car charger, but only about 2/3 of the width and 2/3 of the length of each page are analyzed.  I am scanning through the scanning on windows 10 application and selecting the option auto charger.  I tried selecting the scan to the all-in-one computer option rom device but given that we first installed the device last year it was still frozen and analyzed by this method.  Scanning from the tray works fine and it scan the entire page.

  Hello, just a simple question on the HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf.

  Before buying, I'm trying to understand whether it is possible to analyze front of documents using the ADF (automatic document feeder).

  I tried to read the manual a bit and it seems, it is possible to automatically print duplex (front and back), but it is not clear whether it is also possible to scan duplex.

  To make it even clearer: if I need to scan 10 pages which are printed front and back, can I place these 10 pages in the feeder and scan automatically in a single pdf document?

  If not, can I at least automatically scan one side of these pages and then reverse the entire block of pages and scan again for the back? And there at - it software or something (supplied with the product) that merges the pages scanned in order to make a single pdf file where pages are placed in the correct order?

  M1536 series provides no ADF Duplex scanning, only print double-sided.

  Software will scan a face in a work of unique analysis only and do not provide an option to merge multiple analytical work into a single file.

  The Officejet Pro 8500 has more (A910g) as example can perform the required task, however it is ink jet and not one laserjet printers. None of the consumer Laserjet models provide all of the ADF duplex features.

  I hope that someone that more familiar with commercial Laserjet MFP will be able to direct you also.

  I have a Dell 2335 MFP printer that is connected to a network with 3 2 pc from work of the pc quite well and we can however scan other pc which is configured in the same way is not when to choose the pc that you want to scan to it says connection after what it says "not available".

  I unintstalled and reinstalled the drivers making also of course all is selected I also checked the firewall that is well

  I had the same problem and I spent all day trying to figure this out! Not only have I had this problem I ended up having problems of firewall that caused the problem to take more time.

  in any case, this is how solve you the problem for 64-bit windows 7 computers.

  Panel control--> system and security--> firewall Windows--> (allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall)

  You must add "Manager of Scan" and give him access to the host/network (private), Public domain.  ALSO

  ScanMgr2.exe should already be in the list, and it grants the same privileges.

  I don't know if that's all you need to do, but when I tested it, I gave Sscan2io.exe and SScanToIO access to all 3, I've been able to connect.

  (I was unable to delete the access of these two Home/network & public after test with access, so I recommend that you try it without giving the permission first!)
  NOTE: Disable the firewall does not solve the problem!  Firewall had to stay.

  Scanner works OK with third-party software - but I want to use the features of HP!

  Error occurs using portion of the scanner or ADF (which stops at the bottom of page 1/2).  Software "Full feature" just download on the HP site, multiple times.  Downloaded version: "Setup_Full_8270_14 - 5.exe" tried with 2 computers, both running Windows 7.  Scanner WILL copy a page to the printer, but refuses to create a file for the document or image.

  5590 scanner works fine, but I want that the increased capacity of the 8270!.

  I got the job 8270 as expected!

  Purchased the software on CD, pt # L1975-10010, installed and the scanner now works properly.  Seems to be an older version than the one I had downloaded, but I prefer older if it WORKS again, if it's not!

  Obviously, the HP download package has BUGS.

  Thanks for trying to help; It IS appreciated.  Now, HP will fix the software package on their site, everything will be fine.

  I had purchase Dell inpiron 910 mini two years before now out of warranty. I got error on blue screen and then I restart the machine, I got the mode without failure when starting in safe mode, it stops and a disk read error occurred press Ctr + alt + del to restart I could even not to format the machine. could not start for winodow cd. Same blue screen message when starting from the cd, the message is as below

• hp officejet pro 8600 premium: lines when scanning or copying using the ADF.

  I get a black page line everytime I try to copy or scan using the ADF. I tried to unplug the printer for 30 seconds and in him plugging everything into a wall as stated in a previous post. I also cleaned the glass for scanning.

  Please follow the steps in troubleshooting found here.  The ADF uses a specific area of the glass.  A small piece of dust or smears may affect ADF scans, so special attention to the cleaning instructions part.
