Dell A920 printer/copier won't copy, but it prints from the computer fine. Any ideas?
I have windows XP and a dell A920 printer / copier. It prints well but he will not make a copy. I need to copy a document and put it on the screen copy and press the black copy button and color copy copy and scan and none of the buttons seem to work. It was fine two weeks ago from ideas?

If the web page has not correctly detected your operating system, select it by using the drop-down list. Rather than using the "Combo package" recommended but huge, expand the "Drivers" section and download driver printer v2.32 to a location that you will remember later.
- Click on the ORB start and go into devices and printers.
- Select (click) the icon of your Epson printer.
- Once you have selected the printer, a button labeled "Print server properties" will appear in the toolbar. Click on this button.
- Click the "Drivers" tab on the print server properties dialog box.
- Select the Epson printer in the list of installed printer drivers, and then click 'remove '.
- In the context menu, select "Remove driver and driver package" and click OK
- Click Yes, and then delete
- Once the removal process is complete, restart the computer (probably not really necessary, but can't hurt)
- Install the driver and the software using the file that you downloaded earlier
At this point, your printer should work fine. However, if you want the ability to print by emailing a file to your printer, you may need to install both 'Remote Printer Driver v1.65' in the category 'Pilot' and "v1.30 utility Configuration of printer Epson Connect" in the "Utilities" category

I did a network of residential group with 2 computers with windows 7 Home Edition premium, I share everything vink.
now I try to print when I print from the computer where the printer is it related prints wel, but when I want to print from computer Member its saying that the server offline is, I looked for the printer is printer of standaard, I looked into the first computer if the printer is offline, it is online.
I look in the vieuwer event, I don't see anything specific. It can be the problem, what steps I must take to can print from these two copmuters.
I vinked every thing to share, too, I shared the printer, what is wrong here?
2 - my second question is exactly where I can look in the event vieuwer for printing problems, I don't see that in the print service/windows/microsoft section where I see nothing is mentioned.

You get some in the system log.

I have a new 6700 Officejet connected with the USB cable to the computer. (Windows XP) Printing from the computer works perfectly. Sannen works onl + y from time to time. I think I know where banhien is trying to guide you. I'll explain his instructions in more detail below.
1. make sure you are on the desktop view.
2. double-click on the icon on your desktop that resembles your printer.
3. under the section titled scan, you should see "Manage Scan to Computer".
4. click on "Manage the Scan to Computer" and a window that's going to Enable.
5. click on activate to activate computer scanning.
If the icon is not on the desktop, or does not work, you may uninstall and reinstall the printer. If you need to do this, be sure to use the latest version of the software following the link. Hope this helps to clear things up a bit.

Printer all-in-one Photosmart D110A. Printer works OK to computer when printing black and white or in color. But when using the scan or copy feature the printer does a solid black page. This just started recently. If I try to scan a document from the computer, the analysis that results is black Uni. I guess that it is a hardware problem. If this is correct, how can I get it fixed. Who should I call at HP for parts? Can I fix it myself or the printer fatally broken and that I should buy a new printer?

It sounds like the scanner lamp turns off. You can't really repair or replace just the scanner lamp. The way to resolve this would be to replace the entire printer. Check your warranty here. What is the brand and model of the scanner?
Do you get any error messages? If Yes, what is the full error message?
This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
Corrupted driver.
Hardware problem.
Method 1:
I suggest you to run hardware store and check if it helps.(a) press the Windows keyboard.
(b) Troubleshooting type in the search box and press enter.
(c) click on material and audio.(d) click on hardware and devices and follow the on-screen instructions.
Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest you to download and install the latest scanner driver\software on the manufacturer's Web site.Hope this information helps. Reply to the post with an up-to-date report of the issue so that we can help you more.

Not able to print from the computer. Windows 7.
WiFi printer worked fine, now can not print from computer. Get the error message and when I cancel the document and present it again I have to keep getting an error message. I ran the utility troubleshooting printer but that did not help. Have downloaded a new print driver, but that didn't help. Have also restarted the router. Seeing WiFi is turned on, on the printer and the computer. Printer copies and performs maintenance very well. Help!

My printer won't scan or print from the computer
After a weekend with no storm (my whole system has been turned off), I can't get my printer to work on the computer.
My icon on the desktop HP Solution Center was gone so I reloaded the software (vista 64-bit) and then even uninstalled and reinstalled the software and although the solution center is now back as a shortcut, it is said there is no printer detected. Diagnostics at HP said the printer is detected, but nothing clears the problem. Help, please.
