DELL C1760NW 009-654 ERROR CODE

Searched high and low.  Seen this code happen on other printers, but solutions do not apply to the C1760NW.

Turned on or off. Turned on. Follow-up of the steps for the other models that get as far as the next step is not applicable and therefore it cannot be tested.

Is there something that can be done on this for me to test and others have this problem find that thread and also to find a solution?

I could solve the formidable 009-654 on my c1765nfw. I have downloaded/installed driver usb printer and connected the printer to a usb port on my computer. I downloaded the latest firmware driver. I started with a removed toner cartridge printer. I ran the Dell firmware upgrade program, and he acknowledged that the printer is connected and loaded the firmware. End of the installation of the firmware, I rebooted the printer and everything works again.

This solution can work on all other Dell printers who encountered the same error.

    I already activated Windows (silly me to check everything actually works) and I need a solution as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Personal data backup (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then format the HARD disk and do a clean install of Windows.  Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) won't fix this!

    Downgraded from Vista to XP Pro (V. 2002) on my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.  Have installed Service Pack 3.

    Audio will not play (I get beeps of warning system but that's all, there isn't a problem with the hardware).

    In Device Manager, there is a yellow exclamation by the "IDT High Definition Audio Codec" under sound, video and game controllers.

    Dxdiag shows NO device installed.

    NO device does appear as installed anywhere.

    I tried the updated drivers, did NOT work.  Get the error code 10.

    Automated fix - it doesn't include troubleshooting for audio.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Error code 2000-0142 indicates a failing hard drive / has failed, you can try to remove and reinstall the hard drive, and then re-run the diagnostic tests and see if you receive the same error.

    If the same error is received, the hard drive has failed and you need to replace it, followed by reinstalling windows, then loading the drivers and applications.

    I try to erase the error code: 077-900 open rear cover remove the paper jam.

    This error message has remained after a jam last. I'm fairly certain that there is no fragment left after removing the room - though; I'm not sure how I should go actually on removing the toner/drum unit and make sure that this is the case? and if this does not clear the error: the best way to proceed in this scene?

    I perform diagnostics recommended as suggested by a well-respected former opinions of this site - be:

    "To test the recording sensor, you switch to customer on the printer diagnostic mode.

    To do this:

    1. turn the printer off 2. Hold down the UP and DN keys while turning on the printer; the buttons can be released when the screen LCD indicates "diagnosis." 3 LCD should indicate "Client Mode" and "ESS Diag" (or something similar). 4. press on the arrow of DN to display "IOT Diag". Press the button ENTER. 5 LCD should indicate "IOT Diag" and "Digital Input"; Press the button ENTER. 6. press on TOP / DN buttons until the desired DI - xx is displayed, then press ENTER button to run the test. The test we want to execute is the Regi-sensor test - DI-3. Press the arrow upward until the LCD shows "DI - 3 OFF" then press enter. The LCD display should now show "DI - 3 L 0". »

    The result indicates: "DI - 3 L 0".

    I tried a hard reset of the printer.

    A friend has managed to fix the problem. Being that this code is usually caused by a paper jam previous [we managed to clear the jam manually.]
