It opens, closes, turns on, makes noises, etc. It does everything it should, except read DVD/CD. I'll put one in and I don't know if I can hear the disc rotation or is fan of the laptop. Whatever it is, it appears in Windows Explorer. When I go into the Device Manager on the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives section, the only rider there is a small yellow triangle on it, and it shows the error message "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19). "I tried to uninstall reinstall the drivers and let Windows but which never works. I tried to uninstall the and clicking on 'check hardware changes' or whatever the option and a device setup prompt came, but I didn't know if it was for my wireless mouse or DVD drivers. With hindsight I should have waited until it ends instead of cancelling because I thought at the time, it was my mouse. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
