History: I just bought a laptop / Tablet Dell Inspiron 7347 (exchanged for another unit, see below). Problems to maintain a strong connection and when connected, it is very slow. When it is connected to the wireless router, it maintains a (slow) connection for 3-5 minutes and then craps out (restrict the connection with the yellow "!" on the WiFi in the taskbar). He then returned to the top of 1 3 minutes later. It's a coherent continuous cycle. I tried to reset the default router with no luck.
All the other devices on this router (office, phone, IPad) all hold the connection without problem at the same time, this device is not.
Notable: Before I bought this tablet/laptop I bought an Acer Aspire tablet / laptop which had exactly the same problem on my network. I returned the unit for other reasons (quality of construction etc.), but he had the same OS (Win 8.1). I don't know if she had the same network adapter.

I turned off and BOOM... everything was fine. Also, I noticed when it was powered up, the speedtest would plunge drastically when I actually moved the mouse during the test. You can follow the steps below and check if it helps to turn off the touchpad scrolling feature.
(a) click Start and click on Control Panel.
(b) in the control panel select display small iconsor large icons.
(c) click on mouse and navigate to the following location: device settings > Synaptic touchpad > settings > virtual scrolling > uncheck "enable vertical scrolling" option.
(d) check if it helps you to disable the touchpad scrolling.
If the steps above do not help, you may need to contact dell support to check if they have any parameters or function keys to disable the touchpad scrolling feature.

There is no change in the installation of Windows XP mode.
The only thing to do is to put the XP disk in the CD-ROM and follow the on-screen instructions.
Those are the two pilots who appear to be more likely to adapt to your system, and if one or the other does not work you can restore the driver using the dialog of properties as follows:
Go to control panel and click Device Manager.
When that opens, click sound, video and game controllers.
Select the audio driver / video, you have downloaded and installed.
Right-click on the device and select Properties.
When this window opens, go to the tab (on the top row) driver.
Click the Driver Rollback button and left-click on it.
Let Windows reinstall the older driver.
Restart your computer.
If all goes well, one of these fixes will take care of the problem. Keep me posted.

I've always bought Toshiba, since I use my laptop for both business and pleasure... my old Tosh, a satellite is still going strong, no problem at all... but I'm afraid of Toshiba's indifference to driver updates is staggering, especially for modern machines. As you can see the L670 isn't in the list, so win 8 pilots won't come out for this device.

It of just my personal opinion, but I recommend that you check the pages of other computer manufacturers products every manufacturer out new computer models on a regular basis and this is not new systems available.
If you check the upgrade matrix to win 8, you will see a series of portable over older models which will be get the Win 8 drivers of course it s always pity to see this model of laptop clean is not a part of these updates.
