  I am facing problem with my Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium32bit.

  Everything worked well, recently, I deleted a malware windows security databases, after that the display of the network connection is still limited to connectivity, for all types of connections, Ethernet, WiFi, etc. USB tethering. I tried to uninstall the drivers, removal of winscock entered into regedit and then adding them. Nothing helps. I can't find the Winsock drivers for download.

  Yes, I did the re-installation of Windows Vista using the CD of the OS that came with the computer installed & portable device using the driver CD drivers. Now the network connectivity works great!

  Avast, AVG, Avira , or UnThreat are choices fine (free option).
  You could spend ~ 60USD during two years of eSET NOD32 AntiVirus (not more - just product AntiVirus) and which would be more worthwhile.

  Regarding SP1 - do this manually.  Windows Vista Edition _, _ - bit? [Fill in the blanks]

  Download and save the SP1 that is appropriate for your architecture of Vista (32-bit or 64-bit) operating system (on your desktop).  Reboot and logon.  Right click on the saved file and choose Run as administrator.  Follow through until it's done and restart with 5 minutes between each restart twice.

  • Windows Vista 64 - bit SP1

  Download and save the SP2 appropriate for your architecture of Vista (32-bit or 64-bit) operating system (on your desktop).  Reboot and logon.  Right click on the saved file and choose Run as administrator.  Follow through until it's done and restart with 5 minutes between each restart twice.

  • Windows Vista 64 - bit SP2

  Then download updates post-SP2 via normal means.

  If you use the Windows 7 Home Premium DVD Dell reinstallation it will automatically apply the Dell OEM SLP activation.   You say that your computer is slow, but all of the examples you give are rather than slow computer operations slow network communications.  To avoid any unnecessary work, check how fast the computer is on the tasks that don't use any network.

  If it works fine for tasks not network then you can concentrate on the problems of network as being the only concern.

  It has also become very slow for no network tasks you should study other causes.  Just as an example: If, like me, you sleep / turn off the computer when you are not using it then defrag will never work, so you can run it manually to make sure that doesn't cause problems.   Describe your symptoms in this thread so that someone can advise on the best course of action.

  Problem: I'm catching up after startup, it does not show the vista logo but showed the loading bar, doesn't make it to the login screen. Instead shows the bright black screen with a cursor, the cursor moves freely. Ctrl-alt-del does not work, StickyKeys is sound but no visual. So we know that this abomination of windows load. We are now trying to startup repair. We know that the battery did not work because more than a year, the bios indicates there is no battery, I wonder what this block that says battery is lol.
