Hi I bought a dell latitude e6430 on eBay and it doesn't have a hard drive and I put a new hard drive and installed windows 7 but I need to know what software came installed on factory I tried my dell downloads and it says unsupported service tag. Help, please!

A number of service supported: unit didn't have my dell downloads and or it's a pirated tag that has reported many laptops.

There is no solution for this.

  • Popup disble icon when the cut or the variation in volume via keybord on Dell Latitude E6430

    Hello

Is there a way to disable the icon that appears on the screen when I press the buttons sounds on the keyboard?

    HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\ {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \0001\Settings\filter\SpeakerHp\MasterMute: 00

But I can't find any key associated with the icon that shows when I cut. And I want just the disabled icon, not the function.

    Can I do this?

I have a Latitude E5420. Mine came with "Dell System Manager' installed - it's in the start menu > all programs. If I click on it, then on 'system and Device Manager. "

Open 'Display settings', then 'Notifications' uncheck 'Volume', the display of the volume no longer appears when I press the volume buttons.

If you don't have it but you want to try, go to the E6430 download page, select Windows 7 64 bit operating system and then expand the category of Control Point. I don't think that there is a version for Windows 8.

  • Reset bios Dell Latitude E6430 settings.

Hello. I have Dell e6430 laptop and I used it with a connected via ExpressCard slot external graphics card. By default in the BIOS (variable efi) defines the main display (0x1D4 variable) is set to auto (value 0 x 0) and internal graphic adjustment (variable 0x1D8) is also set to auto (0x01). Being stupid enough to think carefully before playing with efi variables that I put primary display to the PCI (0x02) bus and internal graphics to disabled (0x0).

(I had problems connecting to egpu via EC-slot to put in mode gen2 (gen1 works perfectly) - the laptop didn't use the egpu, so I thought that I can 'force' to use egpu playing with variables of the efi.) Don't tell not even, now, I know it's stupid :)

Long story short, that now I can't start my laptop because the internal graph is disabled and egpu also will not work because EC works on gen2 mode.

The question is: have I "brick" my laptop or is there a way to reset the hardware BIOS settings? (I tried to remove the batteries - it did not help)

Here's how I used to solve my particular problem.

I had Flash the bios of hdr file, allowing to check POST, then I started in the EFI shell blindly and changed vatiables to the default values. After that, I got new Flash the bios from the hdr file, because otherwise laptop would not again go check POST.

  • Adapter Dell Latitude D620 WiFi network card problem

    Hello

I have a previous post that I made a mistake on assignment to the audio from the laptop, so I'll be back to ask what I can do to solve the problem. It was previously owned and I bought refurbished from Amazon. It was the XP but now has win 7 pro. My unit is 32-bit. I started having problems with the wireless card with six months ago. I replaced the card with the recommended legal replacement. I downloaded the correct drivers (or at least that which applied for 32 bit, same drivers Vista just in case). I downloaded all the drivers and even those who would deal with the problem. I tried and exhausted all other avenues you can imagine. I'd be more than happy to provide news service as well as any other exhibit in nature tag to ensure that this laptop is not stolen, and I am extremely satisfied with this prouduct and cannot afford to replace it at this time.

Two of the problems are that the old 3945 ABG will no longer display with led WiFi when I reinstalled it, and used to install drivers for the new ABG 4965. My laptop recognizes the 4965, but impossible to install the drivers. I was warned that there was a problem in installing these drivers.  What I am doing wrong? ATI Intel Device Driver Update Utility installed on the laptop as well, but cannot connect to my internet connection to get the appropriate drivers, or diagnose any additional problems in nature.

I downloaded the two sets, for win xp and win 7 32 and 64 bits, the two just in case, and none works. Can you please provide me with the correct drivers necessary?  I use a tablet to communicate with you at home and allows you to download the drivers for a USB WiFi public key. It is perhaps part of the problem, but I have no other right of appeal. You can provide me with any assistance would be most welcomed and greatly appreciated.

    Warm greetings,

    J.J.

You have installed the new wireless card, making sure that the antennas were attached? Have you tried this driver for Windows 7?

  • Windows 8.1 Latitude E6430 wireless issues

After a recent clean install of Windows 8.1 on my E6430 Latitude, I can access is no longer my work wireless network uses 802.1 x and Cisco wireless controllers.

It's using the RTM of Windows 8.1 version. Windows 8 and 8.1 client preview worked without any problems.

Windows has installed the Broadcom 802.11n network adapter during installation. When this does not work, I updated the driver using the Dell support site and installed the drivers from Dell Wireless 1504 802.11b/g/n (2,4 GHz).

The two drivers lead the same: I am connected with limited connectivity and usually a self assigned IP address.

The wireless works fine on home networks using WPA2.

Any ideas or suggestions for troubleshooting?

I had the same problem with my Dell Latitude E6430.  I have tried everything what I found online with no luck.  I even applied all system updates Dell pulled out this week (more as of 10/17/2013).  Nothing has worked.  I found this today and it solved my problem (from http://blogs.technet.com/b/dennis_schnell/archive/2013/08/31/windows-8-1-wifi-showing-quot-limitied-quot-or-quot-no-internet-access-quot.aspx):

Hi guys, I tried all the methods above, but none of them worked for me. However, I found something that worked, which is to restore your network card driver to a previous version instead of the one installed by windows 8.1.

You can do this by accessing the device, right click on your network adapter Manager, click on update driver, then ' Browse my computer for driver software, and then "Let me pick from a list of... ", uncheck"Show compatible hardware"and finally select the older version of the current driver (if you don't know that, just use trial and error).

Hope this helps others who have this problem. See you soon.

The specific driver that worked for my Dell Latitude E6430 was the Broadcom 802.11n 5.100.245.200 (as dated 14/03/2012).

  • Card mother Dell Latitde E6430

    I have a Dell Latitude e6430 with i7 3270qm processor, Nvidia NVS5200 graphics card.
I need to buy a replacement for motherboard. Part number of my old motherboard is CN-02V2HC.It looks like this:

I found that my local supplier has E6430 motherboard with part number CN-03N0Y.Wil my laptop work if I replace my CN-02V2HC motherboard with CN-03N0YJ? What is the difference between these two motherboards ?

    Hello AYRAT_SHAFIKOV

    Please write to us.

We wouldn't really know you advise to go ahead with the 3N0Y3.

The difference we see is the one on your system is a motherboard no ATG, while 3N0Y3 is a motherboard ATG.  You might face some problems with the conflict of the drivers with the new motherboard.

Please try to get a similar to as serial number motherboard.

  • Audio driver for DELL Latitude

    Hello
I just bought a used DELL Latitude (Intel Core, 4 GB Ram).
Everything works, but there is a strange thing that I've never seen before: it is not the mic input. On the right side of the laptop I see that the output (the rose) but not the mic (the green one) input.
So my question is: can I use any Usb Audio driver and save my music? My laptop will recognize that the pilot despite the existence is not the appropriate entry?
    Thank you very much!

Most of the newer Latitudes will not have audio input lines, out alone, but certainly there are USB microphones which should work very well.  Answer with the model of the laptop if you wish and I double check to see if the system must have an audio online.

    TB

I got to thinking about it more, and what I should have said initially, is that most latitudes will not have a separate audio input.  The Headphone Jack may be bidirectional however. So if you have an analog headset that has a single connection, the microphone should work correctly. Or you can use a digital headset or a microphone and connect via the USB port.  Yet once if you wish for me to check a second time please answer back with the model of your laptop.

  • Dell latitude and two monitors

Hi, I just bought a samsung syncmaster 245 b 24 "to have a work space more. The monitor works fine with my Dell Latitude D410 laptop, but the problem is that the display settings reset everytime I restart my computer. It is a pain because I have to reset everything whenever I turn on my computer...

Currently, I set my monitor to laptop as the extra and the 245ter as a primary monitor. If I restart, the monitors will reflect mutually and monitor of the laptop will be primary again. Is there a way solve this? I use ultramon, but it doesn't really seem to help.

    Thank you...

  • Boot Dell Latitude problem

Turns on when I start my laptop (a Dell Latitude D610) he displays that page load with the Dell icon, but it just goes to a page is black with the _ blinking in the top left corner and not keys working that they just beep noises and F8 will not start in safe mode (I sat to watch as the screen black for more than an hour and happened past)...
Someone knows what to do thanks in advance.

    Hi Taylorg,

If your computer beeps short one or two before starting, this is normal and your computer tells you the BIOS startup succeeded. If your computer beeps and does not start, a more serious hardware problem probably occurs.
A beep code means generally that a basic function was not able to start. A basic function could be reading memory, video display or be able to send information on a hard drive.
The most common problems that cause the beep codes are memory and heat-related failures caused by an accumulation of dust in the critical areas of cooling.
Check these conditions on your laptop and see if that helps fix the problem.

  • Problem connecting to the screen of ipconfig/all in Windows XP on a laptop of Dell Latitude D620 - physical address of the laptop need

On Windows XP, I am trying to find the physical address for my Dell Latitude D620, then I can use it to connect to the wireless router.  When I go to start > run > ipconfig/all, a small screen flashes for a second or two, then disappears.  You'd be able to get my physical address from the laptop to the ipconfig/all command screen?  What is the problem and how can I fix?  If not, is there another way to discover the physical address of my computer?

You can do the same thing from the command prompt.

    a. Click Start click all programs.

    b. click on accessories, then Command Prompt.
